Synopsis

"How did a perfectly fine magic world invested by ghosts?" Aya looked at the ghosts in front of her silently and raised her hand to cast a spell. She came to the past and wanted to change the tragedy written in the history books. But how did these ghosts come with her too? Ah, will she cause early destruction of the world? Uh... ... "Teacher, if I tell you that I didn't mean it, would you stop being angry?" Aya trembled when she looked at the man in front of her. She didn't meant to offend him! "Oh?" Her teacher looks back and smiled faintly. Did she think she could escape after provoking him? "Ah, ah, ah...." Aya swore that she didn't mean to provoke her young teacher. But it seemed that it was inevitable? QAQ

Chapter 1Birth

Waaaaa!

"Congratulations, it's a daughter, Patriarch White."

The nurse handed over the baby that was wrapped and had stopped crying to the man who was waiting from the side. The man had long black hair and wore long clothes. His stern expression showed some gentleness when he saw the young baby.

"Good." Patriarch White nodded happily and looked at the baby. He carefully held the baby in his hand, paying close attention to the baby's appearance.

She had opened her eyes.

The black pupil seemed to be staring directly in his direction as if she wanted to say something.

"Have you thought of her name?" The woman on the bed asked.

"She'll be Aya, Aya White," Patriarch White said with a bright smile on his face. "She's the princess of the White Family."

"Aya… it's a good name."

The couple was happy.

On the other hand, the baby was staring blankly at the ceiling above her and then looked at the area around her, feeling that she was facing an absurd possibility.

That she's born again.

No, she's born in a different family and also different world.

The baby, Aya, looked at the simple furniture around her, determining that this was a completely different world from the world she used to know. Besides, what era is it for men to have a long hair?

Aya was confused.

She wanted to look around more, but a baby had limited movements and energy. If she were to move around too much, she might end up falling asleep without her knowing. So Aya stayed to be patient and only moved her eyes around to capture her surroundings.

Thankfully, the language used by the man and woman was the same as the language she used.

In this way, there would be no problem for them to communicate with each other.

Uh wait.

A baby couldn't speak….

Aya: "…"

She completely forgot about that.

If she suddenly speak, she was sure that her parents would think that she's a monster.

Knock! Knock!

"Patriarch, there are some problems on the frontline and you're being called by the Head to gather your people to go."

Patriarch White, who was happily snuggling his daughter, froze when he heard this. He took a deep breath and looked at his wife apologetically. "Sorry, I have to leave for the time being. I'll return as soon as possible."

Patriarch White's wife looked at her husband worriedly and sighed deeply. "You… have to be careful. I'll see you out."

"No, you've just given birth…"

"I'm also a magic warrior nonetheless and this is nothing," She smiled and shook her head.

Aya, who was about to fall asleep, immediately woke up again when she heard her mother's words.

Magic warrior!

She was very familiar with this term and was even one of the best magic warrior in her kingdom in her previous life. If there were also magic warrior in this world, then it meant she could definitely train herself to the peak once more.

Patriarch White sighed and nodded. "Alright. I'll call my brother to let his son stay with you during this time period too. His son is only 1 year old but he also has to go."

"Yes."

Aya heard this and knew that she has one older cousin.

But that was not important.

She wanted to know where she is and what kind of world this is.

Thankfully, her mother carried her outside while her father gathered the people from the White Family. Before long, a man who looked similar to Patriarch White came and carried a young boy.

He looked at Aya's mother with apologetic expression. "Sorry, I will have to leave him in your care."

"It's nothing." Patriarch White's Wife shook her head. "I hope you can return safely from the battlefield."

"Yes!"

As the tribesmen gathered, Aya could see that many of them also have long hair and wore some kind of robe. Just as she thought that the robe would hinder their movement, she noticed some of them also wore armor.

For some reasons, these clothings looked familiar.

Really familiar…

Patriarch White looked at the people who would go to the battlefield and said, "We're going to the war! Everyone had to be prepared for a battle until the very end!"

"YES!"

They all responded enthusiastically and raised their hands.

After that, everyone walked out and this time, Aya could see the other people from the city who gathered at the side. Some of them also carried weapons and ready to follow Patriarch White while some others were there to say goodbye to their family members who were about to leave.

Aya didn't pay attention to this and instead looked at the middle aged man who came to Patriarch White.

"Head," Patriarch White greeted.

The middle aged man, the city's head, nodded in Patriarch White's direction. "I don't have any other choice but to call the rest of the White and the Black Family out for this war. I hope you didn't blame me, Patriarch White."

Patriarch White shook his head. "We're one of the four families who initially found this city many decades ago. It's our duty to come out and fight this war."

"It's good that you think that way." The Head sighed and patted Patriarch White's shoulder.

They were ready to talk a lot more.

But at this time, Aya couldn't bother to listen.

Because this middle aged man was very familiar to her.

Wasn't this the freaking fourth generation head of Wansu City before the entire land was unified?

So she came to the past?

The hell?

Villainess is being pampered by her beast husbands

There are times—far too many times—when you feel that uncontrollable urge to kill someone. For Kaya, this… this was exactly that moment. “Repeat what you just said?” She’d seen hell on the battlefield—second-in-command of a military unit, dodging bullets, dragging traitors by the collar, and coming out alive with grit under her nails. But nothing, absolutely nothing, prepared her for the sight of her spineless husband flirting with her own sister. Right in front of her. “I could never marry a barbarian like you. The one I... I like is Meera—” Blah blah. The same pitiful nonsense again. You think—what could possibly be worse than this? And then, right on cue, your idiotic sister chimes in, completely serious, “I just poisoned you.” Wow. BANG. Before anyone could even react, Meera collapsed. Dead. Her so-called husband gasped like a fish dragged out of water. “Y-you…” He dropped to his knees, staring at Kaya like he was seeing a monster rise from the dark. “You killed your sister?! How could y—?” BANG. Second bullet. Same spot. He dropped like a puppet with its strings cut. Silence. ... Just when Kaya thought her story had finally reached its bitter end, the universe—no, god himself—decided to throw in one last, ridiculous twist. “Wife… wife, didn’t you say you were gonna eat me? Why’d you stop?” A snake beast, ridiculously charming and glowing like some immortal fantasy, clung to her, eyes gleaming. Another voice interrupted. “Shut up! My wife wants to cuddle me now—” A sparrow beastman leapt into her arms, like that made any sense. “Hic… wife, don’t you want me anymore?” A panda-like beastman sat beside her, huge, sniffly, and wronged like a child abandoned at a festival. Sitting in the middle of all this, Kaya was absolutely dumbfounded. ‘When the hell did all of this even start?’

"Really? Or is it because last night affected you so much that you couldn't stand being around me?" "Don't flatter yourself, Snow. You didn't affect me at all." He smirked, stepping closer. "Is that so?" His fingers brushed my chin, tilting my face up. My pulse quickened. "We're at work," I snapped, swatting his hand away. "This isn't professional." "You're my wife," he murmured. "You're supposed to obey me at all times." I bit back a retort, a hint of rebellion flaring within. Slowly, I stepped closer, letting my fingers graze his chest. His smirk wavered for a second when his wolf reacted and Snow bit his lips. "Careful, Boss," I purred seductively. "Don't hurt those lips. I'm sure plenty of girls would love to kiss them." Snow leaned down, his lips brushing my ear. "And you? Are you dying for a taste?" Caught off guard, I hesitated, then regained my composure as I looked him in the eyes. "Unlike other girls, I have strong resistance against—" I didn't get a chance to finish when Snow's lips crashed onto mine with a fierce kiss that left me breathless. *************** MATURE CONTENT Participating in the Viral Book Call Contest.
