The sound of the crickets was their only accompaniment as the two gazed at the bright full moon while they ate their dinner.

"How did you learn to cook these dishes?" Sun Xun spoke, as Song Jia filled his cup with wine.

He was surprised when she offered it to him and then poured one for herself. He didn't think she would know how to drink. He wondered if the Song Clan had such practice. Nevertheless, he enjoyed drinking with her nearby. They were like two long time friends, sharing a drink over a conversation.

"I read books. And watched others make it." She shrugged.
