Cooking For The Master

As it was already getting dark, Song Jia asked Sun Xun if he could let Lu Ping stay inside the carriage with them.

Sun Xun agreed.

Lu Ping wanted to decline as she was all the more intimidated with Sun Xun after seeing how her masters revered him. But because Song Jia insisted, she had no choice and could only obey her. She entered the carriage sitting next to Song Jia making herself seem invisible.

The journey to the city didn't take too long. It seemed that heading towards a destination with purpose always felt like it would take too long to get there but was so quick when it's time to head back.

"I wonder if there's anything to eat back home.." She muttered.

"Ah. There should be, Miss. Kang Yin should have prepared something."
