Earth power (713 Words)

The view that appears before me is a roof made of stone, I continue to lie on the cold ground and try to clear my mind of the muddy feeling that causes my thoughts to crawl maddeningly slow through my consciousness.

With a surprisingly strong will power I manage to clear my mind and push my body into an upright position.

My eyes sweep over my surroundings and take in the view of a cave entirely made from stone.

To my left I see a gaping maw of darkness that leads into the unknown.

It seems to be the only way out of this cave, so I try and get my legs under my body and stand up.

As I stand onto my shaking legs in notice the white pants and shirt of the same color that covers my body.

But before I can ask myself why I'm wearing them a head splitting headache attacks my mind.

The sudden pain causes me to stumble and fall back onto the ground where I desperately clench my head with both hands.

The pain curses through every part of my brain and causes my facial muscles to spasm while my eyes try to roll into my head.

Not long after, blood starts to run out of my eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

I lose control over the rest right after and my limbs also start to spasm around in horrific dance of pain.

The whole thing lasts for seemingly an eternity, till my body finally slumps completely still onto the ground.

I was awake through the whole process and it has driven me nearly crazy.

After an hour or two I regained enough strength to sit up again and inspect my body.

The first thing that caught my attention is the black pattern that twists and winds its way from the middle of my left forearm all the way up to my shoulder blade.

I can't confirm it, but it seems that it continues onto my back.

It kind of reminds of a branching tree and vines.

My eyes shift over the rest of my body but couldn't find any other change except for the black pattern and all the blood that dripped from my face.

With the inspection done, I sink deep into thoughts and try to make sense of the whole situation.

"What is the last thing before I awoke here?" I ask myself as I try to remember.

As if I opened my eyes again all the memories return together with all the information's.

"Shit!! Where am I? How do I remember my past life? And what the hell was that thing that grasped in that dark void?" I ratter out all my questions at once.

"Calm down! I have to calm down!" As if my body and mind are following my order a unnatural calmness overcame me.

With a calm mind again, I analyses the situation and come up with a theory that could possible explain what the has happened.

´The thing that I took with me from that tier 9 dimension must have messed up the reincarnation and allowed me to retrain all my memories and take over this body instead of being born into a baby. This should explain some of the things, but it also opens up a lot of new questions. ´ Finished with my inner explanation I try and feel the thing that I took with me.

As it comes from a tier 9 world it is highly possible that it is a form of energy and inhabitants my body or even my soul.

After my tenth try I finally notice something next to my heart, it feels like a rock. Though and hard.

I start to focus onto that feeling and try to interact with it without any success.

Frustrated I stand up up and make my way to the gaping maw of darkness and move inside it.

After barley ten meters a dead end is revealed.

I reach out with my left hand and touch the wall in front of me.

Immediately a feeling travels from the wall up my arm over my chest to my heart.

Surprised I focus onto the rock like thing next to my heart and notice a subtle change on it.
