Chapter 2: The Chase
(Y/N)'s POV
"oh you must be bunny" I said and he smiles
"it's me babe" he winks and kisses my right hand with a ring on it
he caresses my hand to the ring for some time now and I find it very creepy
"it's funny how (Y/N)'s reaction was very shy and cute when she saw us" Namjoon laughs and so is the driver with a wipper wind shield laugh
"really?" bunny widen his eyes and glares at me
"how come you didn't act like that to me?"
"do you want me to act like that to you then?"
I ask and the two in front laugh out loud
"still savage as ever..." he sighs and I chuckle
"(Y/F/N)" I introduced myself
"Kim Seokjin, Worldwide Handsome yeah HAHA" The Driver said and I smile at him
"Jeon Jungkook..." he mutters and I pinch his cheek
"cute name" I said and look at his features
he really is a bunny
but something inside his eye hides something unholy...
Lord... My King... let me find out what's behind the stares of these guys
I decided to act like I fell asleep on his shoulders and some moment I felt his head on mine
"is she asleep?" Namjoon asks
"yeah she is" Jungkook said
He touches my forehead that luckily covered my eyes, I woke for a moment only to find that we were in a long bridge, I quickly close my eyes but stop when I saw Jungkook's hand puts a tablet on my wine
I'm pretty sure that was a sleeping pill.
"we need to make sure we had our plan covered" Jin for the first time said in a serious tone
"we need their fortune right away so you already know that Jungkook, make sure your desires don't get the best of you" Namjoon warns and Jungkook scoffs
"I can decide what I want hyung, after all I'm the-"
I saw something glowing below my eye and saw a shiny thing, I'm pretty sure it's gold
PPPPPEEEEEEPPPPPP!!!!!!!!
great... I can't hear what Jungkook said
"right... But you better make sure, you're the youngest and you still don't know anything about the situation, so be aware than never" Namjoon said
"once we have (Y/N)'s fortune we can-"
what the heck!, my Mom worked so hard to let me live the fullest and here they are-
"I think the heck not!" I said and launch at Jin with a blow as I take the wheel, luckily we were near at a two way bridge, the left was under construction and the right was the exit of the bridge, I want this car to stop so I turn it to the left which is a dead end of the other bridge, Jin manages to stop in time by stepping the brake pad with force without crashing the car infront of the brick wall
I give Namjoon a blow and slap Jungkook, I press the unlock button near the stirring wheel to unlock the door beside me
I went outside and ran fast to the nearest small town near the bridge
they may be big and strong but I'm fast at this kind of things
I ran into a maze full of buildings, it was very similar to medieval streets, I keep on running and running around the buildings until I found the exit to the same bridge where the car stopped, I know that I can take the car while they chase me because I'm pretty sure Jin left it open with the key inside, I was about to head outside when Yoongi with my motorbike blocked the way out with a gun and I have no choice but to sway back and kick Namjoon with my heels, in the corner of my eye I saw Jin coming to stop me, I quickly turn around and shove Jin with Namjoon into the wall nearby with my right leg, both of them groan in pain, kneeling down as they caress their bruise that I gave them, Jungkook runs to me with a clenching fist in air, he was definitely ready to punch me, I grab a hold of his fist and twist it lightly since I still love him, another blow came but I dodge it, I manage to smack his back with both of my elbows to weaken him for some time, he groans in pain and glares at me
"that's impossible!" he growls and I stuck my tounge out, I know that Yoongi can't shoot me because I was surrounded by the three morons and he might accidentally shoot one of them, I hide behind a barrel that was in front of him as he keep on firing bullets on the meantime I took of my heels and massage my feet quickly as I hear his footsteps getting closer
let's just wait to lessen all his bullets
"crap" Yoongi mutters and that was when I threw one of my heels on Yoongi's hand making him drop his gun, I threw the other heel on his Face and ran away quickly to the other way and turn to the right only to find a handsome small guy was waiting for me with a handcuff on his hand
"there's no escape baby" he winks, I approach to him and act like I already quit from running away, he was about to put the handcuff on both of my wrist but in one swift move, I took one of his hand and secretly took his handcuff when he stared at my eye, he look around and saw the handcuff was already in my hands
"what the- how-" I cut him off by punching his chin upwards, he lost his balance and I lock the handcuff on both of his wrist, I wave him goodbye and climb up with the thin rope beside me, I tied the thin rope around my wrist in case if they climb as well
once I reach the rooftop, I untied the rope, preventing them from following me, I saw another handsome man coming to my way
I keep on running and jumping, crossing between the rooftops but stopped when I reached the dead end, I look around for a tool and found out that the rope was tied in my wrist
"Hoseok get her!" Yoongi shouts at his phone
I glare at Yoongi and look behind me, 2 men from afar were coming my way
the thin rope was untied from my wrist, I took the edge of the rope and tied it together with let's just say about 40 cm away from the edge forming it into a round edge, I quickly jump to the ocean and throw the edge of the rope to the pointy stone nearby that atomically tied up tightly leading me hanging for dear life, I swallow my saliva down in fear as I look down
the worst thing is...
I can't swim...
"get the rope!, we're almost there!" Namjoon said as he and Jin pull the rope to them, I suddenly heard a cracking sound, my eyes widen
one thing for sure, the pointy rock will crumble.
this is bad..., if they pull the rope further then I'm sure they'll rob our savings and kill me, or clockwise, I'll end up dead in the deeps of the ocean because I can see the rock starting to crack on its below
I don't want mom to mourn...
I don't want mom to be sad...
Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, and that midget (who was already uncuffed) were trying their best to get me by pulling the rope near the tied up one
I grab my phone in my pocket and texted mom something
Me: Mom, I'm sorry, I'm in another country I'll return someday because I have important things to do in here, please do not worry about me, I'm sure I'll come back home safely, Love you lots mom :)
I sigh and put the volume in mute and throw it to them
"ouch! what the heck!" The guy with orange hair shouts at me and I throw a middle finger
that's for winking at me and calling me baby!
"Jimin, you alright?" Jungkook asks coming to us
Jimin lets go due to the pain in his eye that I had gave him, Namjoon accidentally lets go as well because he lost his strength, Jin and Suga's hands became sweaty and accidentally lets go making me fall back near the ocean
"Hoseok, Taehyung get down quick, we need your help!" Jungkook demands
"The stone below is cracking, the stone may break leading her deep in the ocean" Jimin said and Jungkook nods
"the rope is tied up tightly" Jin said and Namjoon sighs because he knows that if they'll only pull me closer to the top will only make things worse and it'll only make the pointy stone break
while they were trying their best to untie it, the stone finally crumbled in pieces, luckily Jin got a hold of the edge of the rope, I manage to sway around dodging from the falling rocks and because of that, Jin was struggling to hold the rope properly he was even dragged down with me and All of them have to grab his body and I swear his cries are heard in the entire town
"AHHHH! FOOLS! NOT MY BODY!, GRAB THE ROPE WITH ME!" Jin snaps at them
I look up and saw the middle of the rope was about to stretch apart
of course this is a thin rope...
without hesitation, I grab my cutter behind from my waistband and cut the rope in one swift move
"NO!!! (Y/N)!" Jin shouts as I fell to the ocean letting go of my cutter
For a few seconds I was struggling to float in the water but I just let go and sink myself in
'you'll never find your happy ending' my sister always said that to me and I guess she was right
I got chased by 7 handsome men, they're kidnapping the wrong daughter, and I'm surely a burden to all people
I thought that Jungkook or Bunny was gonna make me happy but the fact that he's like them makes me really want to die...
isn't this what I wanted all along?
to be gone?
to disappear?
to die?
'My life is worth nothing than their fortune'
my father said that to me
I guess I really have nothing to live
I close my eyes and sink myself deeper
all of the sudden, I felt a hand pulling me close to him, All of my strength I open my eyes only to find Jungkook closing his eyes as his lips attach to mine giving me the oxygen, my heart beats fast for a second hoping that he was the same bunny like before even if it became like this way
he releases me and looks at my eyes before pulling me up to the surface
I gasp as I blindly look around me finding a worried look on Jungkook's face
"are you alright?" he asks cupping my left cheek
even if the ocean was cold, his touch is double warmer than the cold ocean
"(Y/N)!" Namjoon calls my name holding a new rope but this one is thicker
at last, I was rescued by the 7 of them out of the cold ocean and carried me back to the car where Me, Jungkook, Jin and Namjoon were riding
I didn't want to escape anymore... I feel so hopeless...
The 3 unknown went back to their motorbikes and drove away
Yoongi came to me with his thick black jacket and gave it to me
"we don't call you fortune for nothing, that's what I meant earlier" he said sofly and left
of course they didn't save me for nothing
buy I'm sure they'll kill me soon for being nothing
I was unable to speak and just look down as Jungkook carried me in his arms
we both went back at the back seat and the dou went back to the front
"please let me go..." I pleaded with frail and broken voice, clutching my hand on Jungkook's Colar shirt
"we will let you go." he said sternly and I sigh in relief
"mom..." I mutter
'I guess I really have nothing to live'
that kiss...
I guess I was wrong...
I was very thirsty so I randomly drank the wine, my eyes widen as I came to a realization that it has a sleeping pill in it, I throw the glass outside as I cover my mouth and glare at Jungkook
my eyelids suddenly feel heavy and that was when I fell asleep in Jungkook's arms
"sleep now my love"
"we'll make sure to return you."
