Chapter-2

Diary entry,

Wednesday,

You like a little flower

Blooms in the winter storm

Fragile, with fragrance full of life

I want to hold you

Cradle you in my arms

And make you mine

But you, my sacred heart

Can't be touched

To keep you alive

So i let you stay there

In the storm day and night

Me being your sword

Against the time.

"You remember your plan,right?"

"Yes! Everything is on board captain"

"So, everyone ready?"

"Yes",   "let the show begin"

~During class~

"As everyone knows, there is a dance competition coming and whoever get selected is going to represent our school on state level"  said Mrs. Smith

"There is two groups first group is Scott, Liam, Seth, Yen, Kayla, Beth, Lilly and Brittany and second group is Charles, Ace, Jay, Nick, Dalton, Heather, Pearl, Nicole and Amara.

Your audition will be held in PE class, get prepared for this."

"We-

Scott and Liam stopped Yen from saying anything, Seth sighed. They can't do anything about it, not yet.

Mrs. Smith dismissed the class.

"Let's go prepare for the dance"

"But Scott, they, we, NO."

"Its okay Yen. Trust me" said Scott, reassuring him. He knows what to do to make this situation favourable.

~During PE class~

"Hello class! I am Max, your dance teacher. I m going to decide who to keep and who to kick out of this class. So do your best."

"Pearl stop glaring, you are making it obvious" hissed Heather

"But heath, look at that kayla hanging off Scott's arm. She looks like, she is going to undress him right here right now." Pearl said, spitting kayla's name. If looks could kill, kayla would have been 30 ft under.

"Calm down right now, everyone is looking at you. You can handle it later like a professional." Coaxed Heather

At the boys side, everyone was fuming seeing Heather stand this close to Charles.

Song started and both group started the face off.

During the dance, liam signaled the other 3 to follow his lead.

Liam twirled Brittany two times and mde the dip.

Brittany smirked thinking he got seduced by her awesome dancing and was going to kiss her until he dropped her. Following him, other 3 dropped the girls too. They shared secret smiles and nods appreciatively.

"The fuxk"

"Shit"

"You dumbass"

"Ouch"

More thumps heard around them with few curses. Charles and his group did the same,thinking its a dance move. Heather was giving them an earful of beautifully colored compliments. Charles stepped forward and placed his hands on Heather's waist,

"Calm down babe, it was an accid-

Liam punched him on the face.

"Keep your hands off of her and you better stay away from Heather and girls or you gonna regret being in this school"

Scott and Yen was stopping Liam from his advances, when Seth landed the second punch on Charles face. He was going for another one but Amara stopped him.

"Let him go seth"

"Please" she urged once again and looked back, following her line of vision, seth spotted Heather, eyes wide. When she catches the Seth's eyes on her, she cooled down her expression. He noticed her,shutting off her emotions and left the classroom fuming.

"If you didn't liked the arrangements , you could have told me scott" said mrs.smith with knowing look.

"Sorry, Ma'am"

"Leave it, send Charles to nurse office and you know the changes now"

"Yes, ma'am"

Mrs.smith nodded and left the classroom with their confused looking dance teacher. On their way back, he asked her,

"what's going on?, why didn't you stopped them?"

"When I was announcing the news i knew something like this is bound to happen"

"Then why didn't you changed it beforehand?"

"I didn't knew they are going to be this violent, anyways he deserved it and we can use some fun here and there too, can't we?"

Said Mrs. Smith while entering teacher's office.

Nicole was worried seeing Heather like this,

"Should we help her?" She asked

"Nah! Let them be, its their matter anyway" consoles amara

"Atleast we should tell them right? They are misunderstanding her."

"Shhhh! Don't ever mention about it Nic, otherwise they are going to skin us alive" Pearl said while checking if anyone heard them or not.

On the other hand, Heather was trying to understand why she feels like, she is getting scolded by her parents for stealing the cookies which were hidden for the guests.

She was sitting on the chair facing the boys who looks very scary right now.

She gulped seeing their expression darkens.

"We told you to stay away from that fucker and you were dancing with him"

"And like that touching and all"

"His hands were roaming all over you"

"He looked like an annoying mosquito ready to suck your blood at any given moment"

Everyone turned to look at Yen at his last comment.

"What? Oh! I am very ashamed for insulting mosquitoes like this"

Girls were holding their laughs while boys looked ready to strangle him.

"Just stay away from him, pebble, okay?" Scott warned her with a soft tone, this time, using the childhood nickname the boys gave her.

She just nodded with a smile, afterall she knows why they what they did. They did warned her before too.

When he first came to their high school, her being the "teacher's favourite",  she was assigned to help him with things, he was so sweet with her and respected the girls too.

Later he started flirting with Nicole and she never told anyone. Then he started to make advances on heather too. She tolerated it until she saw him being rude and touchy with nicole when she was alone. That time heather did gave him a good hello by kicking him between his legs and few punches on his face. But, he still didn't learned and started to throw vulgar comments at her. When boys found out, he was absent for a whole month. Since then he stayed away from them.

"Ummm, guys teacher is calling you" a student informed.

"We will be there"

~In dance class~

"So students let's pair you up first"

"Heather and seth, liam and amara, scott and nicole, pearl and yen. Go stand with your partners." Instructed Mr. Max

Wide eyed nicole and scott looked at each other. Pearl was okay with arrangements. But scott doesn't like the idea of yen and pearl together.

Pearl was standing next to yen and he was making her laugh. No, he should be the one making her laugh like this not anyone else.

Mr. Max started giving instructions,

"Hold her hands, yes, then go round and round then make a dip, don't drop them okay?"

It was pretty simple steps everyone was following his steps,

" The main theme is to show a dreamy vibe, for that you have to make eye contact with your partner not with the wall, Heather"

Hearing her name, she faced Mr. Max and tilted her head, looking confused.

Seth found it cute, this habit of her resembles with a puppy.  When she get confuse or get too much engrossed into something, she tilt her head unconsciously. He will bet that she don't even know she do this but he knows. Her little actions like this always  mesmerizes him. She always keep a strong, hard look on her face, ice cold what people can see and it always keep them, people, away . But her emotionless face intrigued them too and he loathes this. He don't want anyone to pay attention on her bcoz for him, she is like a winter flower, covered with ice from outside as beautiful as ever but soft and fragile from inside.

That's why he mostly stays away from her, what if he tries to reach for her heart and it breaks fron his mere touch?

The thought of him hurting her gave him a foul taste. For now, he will just admires her from afar.

And don't get him wrong, he is not thinking like this bcoz he likes her, its definitely not that.

"Heather at least try to make a small eye contact with seth, he looks so adoringly at you and you just ignore him like he is the part of air"  amused Mr. Max pointed out.

They both looked away blushing, making eveyone laugh.

"Ok class! For next step boys have to lift girls up from their waist, girls should be facing towards the crowd and lift you hands up elegantly"

Boys tried lifting girls up. Scott feel uneasy imagining Yen's hand on Pearl's waist, he didn't noticed his grip loosens on nicole.

*thump*

Everyone turns towards nicole, who was glaring at sheepish looking scott, from the floor.

Laughter was heard around them.

"At one second she was posing like a mermaid coming out of water and next she is sprawled like a spilled yogurt" mocked Yen barely holding his laughter.

Nicole dusted herself up and walked towards Mr. Max while stomping on Scott's foot, she gave him a death glare with a "loser".

"I want to change the partners Mr. Max"

Mr. Max just sighed and told her to partner up with anyone she wants. She glared at scott again and took her place next to yen, pushing pearl near scott.

"I own you one, you big baboon."  She shouted at red looking scott.

And then the practice continues smoothly.

Don't get hard feelings for scott, he didn't do that on purpose, he was just little bet jealous that he forget about nicole.
