1 Chapter- 1 Here they are

"She looks like this in early morning, we all are gonna have a hard day today"

"Look at her"

"Who pissed her this time"

"Is this her boyfriend again"

"You know he looks so good in that scene ,when he gave her the flowers, he is so dreamy!!"

"Oh! Really I missed yesterday's episode"

"You two are watching that new drama?"

"How it goes"

"They look so in love"

"She is this angry this early"

"Who is this boyfriend of her anyway?"

"All of you just shut the fuck up and go make your own love life instead of talking about mine"

There was pin drop silence after that, no one wants to anger her further. She is named "devil" for a reason after all.

Meet Heather, our little innocent girl (only in front of teachers), famous "devil" of eastern globe high school.

"And you three!! Did you prepared for today's test or wasted your time doing bullshit?"

"We are not that dumb, calm down angry bird." Said Pearl

Our only one brave girl who can say this to devil, I-I mean Heather.

"I can do multitask, you know that right? And its just a drama , I m not that obsessed with it." Said Amara, who completed 3 season of a drama yesterday, all in one day.

"Um-- can someone please tell me which subject was it again?" Asked Nicole with a sheepish look. Leave her alone, she is definitely going to top this test like last time.

These 4 childhood friends always keep balancing each other and these three are the only people who can calm down our devil, I mean Heather.

And there are other who loves to see her face fuming red, they are-

"Who peed in your breakfast this morning, Dracula?"

*sigh* Meet Scott and the boys, you can say they are their friends, kind of.

"I am telling you, dump that stupid boyfriend of yours or you are gonna suck everyone dry here one day" teased Yen

Class was full of laughter after that, rilling up Heather.

"And I am gonna start with you Scooby-doo and please raise your humor level"

"Kinky, I don't like that"

"Great,you can leave me alone then. Goodbye, i hope you rest in peace."

Just at that time entered, Mrs.smith, their class teacher, cutting off whatever comeback Yen had.

"Are you ready for the test class?"

~~~~~At lunch time

"You know that he is looking at you from the first period right?" Asked Nicole, eyeing Scott and Pearl like they are some mystery box.

"He is not looking, he is staring, more like stalking her" pointed out Heather.

"What exactly is going on between you two?" Questioned Amara

At last, Pearl is cornered, she was dreading this moment from the second period when she caught him looking at her. She blushed like a ripped tomato at that time, she is not gonna confess it of course.

It was few days ago, when she bumped into him, on her way to her fav spot.

A hidden waterfall deep in the forest behind the old park of the their town, Venus hills.

She often goes there when it become suffocating at her house. Her parents are strict, kind off, she understand their worries. But,she can also get fed up of it, right?, Its not rude to think like it, right? These questions always bothered her.Until she invited Scott to her hidden safe place and talked to him for hours for the first time in 7years.

Yes ,they know each other for 7 years but never talked much. Everytime they came face to face, they were arguing, about silly things.

And Scott find it amusing , whenever she gets angry, he finds her cute. So, he mess with her everytime. But after following her to her "safe place" as she call it, he finds her strong, beautiful, brave little canary trapped in a cage. Only bird, he cares about. He wants to hold her, cherish her. But he can't. He knows his limits and hates it too. He decided to do only thing he can do, keep an eye on her to protect her, atleast from the world.

"Hey! They all are looking at you, Scott, wake up, are you sleeping?"

"Idiot, his eyes are open"

"So what? I read somewhere, dolphins sleeps with their eyes open, maybe he is sleeping like that too"

"You-

"Quit it" said Scott, scowling at Yen and his brother,Seth.

"And I am not sleeping, seth"

"Oh! He has it hard"

"Whipped" high-fived seth and yen, laughing.

"Don't rile him up guys" warned Liam

"Why they are coming here?" suddendly Asked Seth

All of their turned in the direction from where girls were coming. Their faces turned disgusted and worried.

"What they want now?" Groaned out Liam

"Don't lose your calm boys" they know its a serious command when Scott uses this line.

"There is a competition coming, I know all of you are going to ask us to participate with you. So, we decided to let it be easy for you guys, Its a Yes from our side." Said Kayla, placing herself little too close to Scott, almost touching him.

Scott held back a disgusted shiver.

"Yeah! So when are we start practicing?" Asked Beth, placing herself near Yen and pushing a awkward looking Lilly near Seth.

"Who said anything about dancing with you?" Said Liam frowning

"Oh! Don't be disappointed Liam sweety, I really wanted to dance with you but that Brittany already decided to ask you for dance. So, we get little generous for her."

Beth nodded after hearing Kayla and Lilly just awkwardly smiled. She doesn't even want to be here but she has to bcoz she can't leave this group, she also want to experience being popular. So, she just stays with Kayla and beth, do whatever they wants her to do.

"Will you stop your nonsense"

Yen sounded little bit disgusted and more furious now.

"No one present here wants to dance with you. We likes our all limb intact, so, No Thanks"

Seth said , trying to keep the situation under control.

He knows Scott is not going to partner with anyone else except Pearl, its written clearly on his face.

Liam only consider Amara to be his partner bcoz as he says " she is the only girl who can match his step".

Yen ,well,he will choose anyone over these three standing here, probably Heather, but they keep arguing all the time.

The thought of Heather and Yen together makes him uneasy. This uneasiness threw him off guard.

Why would he feel like this? Its nothing, he is probably being a little bit protective over her and he is not the only one who feels like this. They all are bcoz she is with them since childhood, arguing, laughing, just playing around. That's the reason all of them in their group is soft amd protective over her. They never said it out loud but he noticed it many time.

Yes! This is the reason, its not because he likes her, its definitely not that.

Seth's train of thoughts breaks by Yen's voice.

"Just go and save your little bit dignity. We don't want you to hide all the time in washroom hiding your face, now we?"

"Yen, calm down. Please leave." Scott said stopping Yen and politely declining girls.

Kayla and her gang were fuming at that time, kayla stomped her heels, flipped her hair dramatically and was returning and she slipped.

Wait what? *author looking at the scene* yeah she definitely slipped

She landed on charles, a classmate.

He pushed her off of him and back tracked his steps out of the class in seconds.

Looking at everyone's laughing faces, her face was turning more red second by second. She just got up and ran out of class as fast as she can, her friends hot on her tail.

Pearl patted Amara's back saying " good job girl, I m proud of you, that was a good lesson for her. I hope she never thinks about going near Scott."

"Ohhh Scott" teased Heather and Nicole

From their seats, Scott was admiring Pearl's red face, gushing how cute she looks, in his mind.

Yen and Seth was teasing Liam "how his girl gets jealous over him and tripped kayla."
