"Commander Dax, we've called on you today, in part, to ascertain your current intentions, so let's start with that. As the serving minister of special war affairs, I am aware of the authority your unit requires to operate, but this indictment has in part happened due to activities of your unit, I'm sure I don't need to clarify what I'm talking about."
As the indictment finally started, council member Jackson led with the first and most pressing issue.
"You do not, council member. The recent crimes committed by members of the 125th have been committed without my consent or knowledge, it has only been 4 weeks since I was first alerted to those matters due to operating outside the net for some time. After becoming aware of those issues within my unit I've executed a widespread purge and currently estimate that 70% of the criminal elements have been removed, with a further 25% being added to that over the next week."
