Star Wars: The Last Je'daii

After an unexpected death and rebirth, Ian is reborn on the planet Lotho Minor. His grand journey begins with the uncovering of a piece of ancient tech; The Force System. The System isn't the cheating type, with inventory, store, levelling up, consumable 'stat points' and all that, but a more grounded one, a teaching/learning aid of sorts, it does have a stat board though. The chapters are short, but I update pretty regularly-- In fact, calling them chapters seems wrong there more like pages. Mc gets the system chapter 10, and the story at least at the beginning doesn't focus on him too much. It starts getting (In my opinion) really good around chapter 13.

Star Wars: Preparations are Prepared

Seeing what the Junkers had collected; the parts that were available, Nikola proposed several possible types of ordnance to Ian," we could build some basic thermal detonators, there's certainly enough detonite, although I wouldn't suggest it; as its more than likely the fallen force user will just telekinetically 'throw' them back... Landmines instead... Maybe, it depends on how attuned he has remained with his senses, but its definitely worth a shot..." Nikola continued to speak, floating around, inspecting, theorizing, and formulating ideas for some jerry-rigged schematics.

As Nikola talked, Ian followed him and repeated what he was saying to the Junkers; trying to make it appear like he knew what he was doing, and so that he could act as a mouthpiece for Nikola to talk to his people.

Nikola then floated over to a particular pile of peculiar-looking parts, before letting out a sinister laugh. "Mwahaha, oh yes... Definitely."

Ian questioned him discreetly, before going over at the pile of 'junk' that Nikola was fixated on, "Let's see, is there anything good over here," he said, seemingly speaking to himself.

Nikola then pointed out several pieces in the pile, "with... this, this, this, and this, we may just be able to build a rotary cannon, and big one too. It's going to be... Awesome," he said with a sense of glee, and glimmer in his eyes.

And so, with Nikola guiding Ian in the shadows, and Ian instructing the Junkers, the production of weapons began in earnest.

A little ways off, In the depot, the construction work was already well underway. There were many things that could be done to turn the environment into the perfect battleground for the Junkers, and adhering to the Doc's machinations, the various elders assigned their people a series of tasks.

The depot foreman; Hestia, and her workers were in charge of using the pre-existing infrastructure; the winches and cranes, to help build fortifications. The Doc had opted for the style of a fort wall; dividing the depot into two sections centred around a narrower part of the cave.

Gogosmich and his guards were both making snipers-nests and sealing off any the additional passages on the front side of the battlements, the Doc didn't want this monster escaping and picking them off one by one.

The nests took the form of bunkers dug up high in the depot's walls and were partially sealed off by wedged in scrap metal, and they were connected by small tunnels to the sealed off passages; so that the Junkers could escape, or move to another bunker if their nest was under attack.

The head alchemist; Rhea, and her people were using their collections of acids and chemicals to reinforce and connect Hestia's hastily put together metallic walls. They had also created several bottles of smokeless napalm to give to the combatants, and they had even tampered with the depots lighting system, bringing the large alchemical crystal to the ground and melting it down into its previous form; a glob of Lotho Minor's natural acid, using it to form a moat around Hestia's battlements.

The Junkers didn't need the light source, as almost all of them had a night vision function on their masks and those that didn't could get one for free from the villages mask smith, who was feeling more than generous considering his disciple; Getty had been killed by the abomination. The lack of light could also serve as a tactical advantage for them; if the creature couldn't see well in the dark.

When the construction was finished, Doc gathered everyone on the battlement walls, and they waited together to see what 'devices' the little offworlder would bring them. Sure enough, not long after they had gathered, and dressed in a set of sturdy and light armour, came Ian. He was followed by Akiva, Werrin, and the other half of the Junker army too.

The Junkers marched around several hovering pallets, and on each one was an assortment of weapons and defensive items. Landmines, remodelled blasters, sets of armour, and a single shield generator, encapsulating the pièce de résistance out of what had been cobbled together...

It was a rotary cannon, otherwise known as... a minigun.

I will be writing the next chapter now, but it may come a little late. Hope you enjoyed the chapter, I know I sure enjoyed writing it.

Drop me a power stone if you have one spare. :)
