136 V.2-C.37│Lightsaber I│

"That was something, wasn't it." Aayla said as Anakin was now the crowned monarch of the Empyrean. Officially it was him in charge, no longer needed to manipulate from the shadows and instead would be able to do things in the open.

"It certainly was. Ani, you didn't tell us that you had this planned." Padme responded to what Aayla said and then continued in a questioning tone.

"No, I didn't because it wasn't originally my plan to expose them." He replied as they were within the throne room and everyone else had left with only the necessary droids doing some work here and there.

There was a fact that was left out and that was Anakin never bowed or even got on one knee to purpose because that felt stupid. In his previous life he felt that it was stupid and in this one he did think of the act as the same.

He didn't want the girls he was marrying to get on their knees and beg him to get married to them and he didn't want to do the same. They surely didn't want that either and it was not something he would have done no matter what.

It was a silly concept and it may have been his pride but he would still never understand why others did this. If you love someone and they love you, then simply asking should be enough instead of having to do a grand display of your devotion.

This is besides what is being currently talked about however.

"Then what was your plan? When were you going to tell us you have had an entire army like this?" Padme gave him a pointed look and knowing her views of the galaxy, he could only sigh as it may take a little time to convince her this is necessary.

"It shouldn't be that hard to see it from my point of view, right?" He said in response.

"And what is your point of view exactly?" Shaak was there present among the others as well.

"Safety, protection, intimidation factor. These three things are important, at least I believe it to be important, especially in the times we are currently in."

"I agree with Ani." Ahsoka spoke up here backing him up and he smiled at her which caused a certain emotion within her, which may or may not be connected to romantic feelings.

'Maybe I shouldn't have done that...' Anakin thought to himself, even though he did appreciate that Ahsoka would stand by his decision here. 'Whatever, what's done is done.'

"Ahsoka, you aren't supposed to take his side in this instance." Barriss goes up to her and pinches her cheeks.

"Sowwy, sowwy!" Ahsoka exclaims as her cheeks got sore from being pinched.

"What are they anyway? From what I could sense, they are all Force-sensitive..." Aayla added as she was remembering just what she was feeling through the Force in relation to the Synths.

"They were droids." Anakin stated.

"What?! Droids?" Padme exclaimed confused as she had the least amount of knowledge out of everyone here. "And what do you mean they 'were' droids. You mean to tell me, no, us that these living people are droids or were droids at some point?"

Padme is aware of Anakin's technological intelligence but this seemed a bit far fetched, even with knowing that space magic can do many things.

"Yes. There are alot of things that I dont tell you all and I dont intend to tell you everything. Just as I will not pry into what you guys hide from me, if anything at all because I love my privacy just as much as you guys would like yours." Anakin said.

"Privacy? This is not about privacy..." Padme was exasperated as even though she agrees with him, he completely avoided what she actually wanted answered. "Can you actually answer my question now?"

Sighing, Anakin answers. "Sure. It isn't like it is all that bad anyway."

Anakin would then proceed to tell everyone about how he had created living droids capable of thoughts and have actually consciousness. In doing this he had amassed a small army of droids that were able to use the Force but they were dying.

To save them he did what he did best and that was find loopholes within the Force to allow him backdoor entry into some of the more forbidden things the Force doesn't like. There were many ways to get immortality, but he wanted to do an easy way, the Force however didn't make it easy for him and he knew that it wouldn't.

He had become prepared in the event it wouldn't allow him this so easily. The Force may be everywhere and touch all living things, but that didn't mean it was perfect and he could get around alot of things.

An example of that being, using science and genetic modification to allow himself and others to better access the Force. His living droids, now synths are capable of using the Force now, through a loophole he had found when using his cells.

It wouldn't be this easy if their bodies were already made and they didn't have any prior connection to the Force. Through him and through the cells that contain the Sky-Seed variation from himself, that increased their overall Force-sensitivity.

It allowed them to both keep their powers and keep their ability to live throughout the rest of their lives and that isn't all. They would be able to transfer their consciousness and individuality into a new body once the one they are currently in expires.

This still keeps in line with what the Force wants as death still exists for them still exists for him as well, as while extremely hard to kill and it was unlikely for it to happen within the future, he could still die.

His body could still fail him and he would need to either create an entirely new one and go through the trouble of aligning it using both light and dark side energies through magick rituals.

"So they are basically an entire sentient race created by you..." Aayla said as she pointed at him before continuing. "Their purpose at first was to test whether or not you could, and you didn't stop to consider whether you should..."

"That is right." Anakin nodded on his throne. "It is a folly of mine to think that it would be without any consequences. The Force obviously didn't like me creating new life so slowly started to make the non-organic midi-chlorians within them slowly dissipate."

"It is a folly. A massive one, as now you have some crazy fanatics for people that wish to do anything in your name." Padme said particularly heated.

"For your information, they aren't slaves and can do anything they want, under the law of the Empyrean of course." Anakin added seeing that it could be misconstrued he had created his own force of slaves to fight for him.

If he is to blame for that, then everyone else should be blamed for forcing droids, that aren't actually living, as well.

Sighing herself, Padme submits. "Fine. You point is proven." Anakin had given ample evidence to prove that he isn't lying and that they did this all on their own initiative.

"That is actually crazy. The Jedi... I dont know what the Jedi would think about this." Shaak added her own amazement over finally discovering this.

"Neither do I but I suspect that I would at least get a scolding..." Anakin said after Shaak adding in her own thoughts.

"That doesn't now. What I want to know is what is our next step. From what I could tell, the Synth's dont need any training..." Aayla at this point was more concerned with how she would be as a mother.

Not that she was pregnant or anything at this point but she has become acutely aware of the possibility now and she is both excited and nervous. While Padme doesn't even consider becoming a mother, well she does but she believes that the fun time herself and Anakin had the night before wasn't going to result in a pregnancy.

Anakin wasn't that irresponsible... right? No, he isn't and because of this Padme is safe and secure in the fact she wont be becoming a mother so soon, even though her age and Aayla's isn't that far apart.

"Ani, lets go for some training? And when are we going to get our new lightsaber?" Ahsoka asked aloud and everyone was brought back to the simple fact, they had no proper Force-sensitive based weapon.

"Sure, we can go for some training. Also, about the lightsabers... There are a few options that we could go to find some crystals to create out own sabers. I have all of the parts necessary because I have remembered everything about lightsaber creation." Anakin stated.

"Really?" Ahsoka was the most interested to get a proper lightsaber again, not that Aayla, Shaak or Barriss weren't. Even Padme was slightly interested in this topic considering Anakin had talked to her about a few things the previous night.

'Just thinking about it makes me blush.' Padme thought to herself as she was transported to her memories of the night before, which admittedly had gotten a little hazy the more and more it went on.

"Yes, really." Most within the room didn't notice Padme's behavior. At least that was what would have been like if the people within weren't Force-sensitives and she was Force-sensitive enough, trained to block others from sensing her emotions.

Anakin continued. "There are options and while finding natural crystals or other things that could replace normal crystals for a saber is good, they may not be the best."

"How so?" Shaak questioned, believing that the lightsabers Jedi had been using for years on end now were the epitome of its efficiency.

"There are synthetically made crystals and then there are unique ones that would have a special edge in combat. An example being ghostfire crystals, being literally near invisible..." Anakin said which got a reaction out of Aayla as the idea of remaining unseen sounded good to her.

"That, I want one of those." Aayla said, nodding her head as if it is already decided.

"What? You think I just have one on me?" Anakin questioned with a dumbfounded expression crossing his face.

"Yes, you have everything." Aayla replied back.

"Despite your expectations of me, I in fact do not have everything." Anakin replied calmly before continuing. "Synthetic lightsabers can be created and we can create them to the best of our ability to better suit everyone's requirements and all of that."

"Then there is a multitude of many other gems throughout the galaxy that can be used in the recreation of your own lightsabers. The Jedi aren't the only ones that have an entire planet full of Adegan crystals." He continued.

"There are also the wildlife here on Tatooine that could provide you all with a crystal that could be used." Anakin left off to see if anyone is interested.

Only Shaak was. "That sounds interesting. Does this mean we would have to kill a creature to gain one of these crystals?"

"I see that your natural instincts are starting to come out there, Shaak." Aayla said to Shaak.

She isn't embarrassed and doesn't mind being called out. "Depending on the creature, I am willing to try and get one."

Krayt dragon pearls were lustrous, colored stones found in the last chamber of the gizzard of krayt dragons. The stones were used to help crush food eaten by them, and over time, they became rounded because of how much they moved around.

They could be found in colors such as blue, green, red, white and black. Due to a refractive quality peculiar to the pearl, they could be used in a lightsaber if properly cleaned, prepared and installed, though it was a difficult task.

Believe it or not but they had in fact not gone extinct and still existed to this day some species on the planet.

"Krayt dragons are quite the ferocious creatures and it would be difficult to face one unarmed. Their pearls come in all colors, so you wont have to worry too much about choosing." Anakin stated as he already planned to help Aayla get her ghostfire crystals and now Shaak her Krayt dragon crystals.

"I would appreciate the help then." Shaak said as she smiled at Anakin and he replied in kind giving a nod before turning to the youngest two within the room.

"Now that you are settled, there are only two left within this room... Of course I am not forgetting about you Padme, but we should fix your problem first." Anakin said as he looked at Ahsoka, and Barriss before reminding Padme who was still stuck in her own world.

"Oh-Oh! Right! Yes! Of course... Of course I was listening." Padme exclaimed, quickly recovering from whatever she was imagining.

"Whatever, I can explain it too you later. Ahsoka, Barriss?" Anakin said as he now was awaiting Ahsoka's and Barriss' answers.

"I dont know Anakin, Synthetic crystals give off a red glow..."

"So what? You are not a part of the Jedi and Synthetic crystals aren't below normal Jedi Adegan crystals." Anakin reassured her since she didn't seem to want a crystal from somewhere else.

She was taken by the prospect of designing her very own crystal. "Then, do you think I should do it?" She didn't just ask this question to Anakin but the others within the room as well.

"Just follow what the Force tells you, or if the Force doesn't give an answer then just go with what you believe is right for you." Shaak gave her advice given she was following her instincts to best a creature. Carnivorous was the species she came from, which inherently made her a predator and it would be best if hers came from a defeated opponent.

Padme knew nothing about lightsabers and the Force, but she still gave her advice. "Sometimes, what you must look at isn't the look of what could be but instead the benefits of what could be instead."

Aayla just said, quite simply. "Just go for it. There isn't anything else, now is there? Right, Ani?"

"There are other crystals." Anakin just deadpanned at Aayla's lack of awareness to the fact that other crystals existed.

"What!?" Barriss ignored Aayla, along with everyone else as they awaited her answer.

"I will do the synthetic crystal then." Barriss stated because of the encouragement and she was still quite taken, if not more so now as she had some time to think about it some more. She wanted to design her own lightsaber crystal and she would make it suit her needs to the best of her abilities.

"That's great then..." Anakin looked over towards Ahsoka, whom seemed to be the most excited. "Ahsok-" He was cut off.

"Of course! I want to have one of my own, but I dont want to create one and I dont like the idea of fighting against something to gain one... I also believe that it would be best for me to stay away from any invisible lightsaber types..." Ahsoka left off here.

"Don't worry, I think I have the perfect crystals just for you Ahsoka." Anakin stated as he was planning to give her some very powerful and unique crystals still they best suited her.

"Really?" Ahsoka questioned him with some type of effect known as the 'puppy dog eyes' technique.

"Yes." Anakin replied and she just jumped him by hugging him very tightly, as if trying to merge into his being.
