In the cockpit of Crucible I stared out its cockpit windows at the swirling blue of hyperspace.
Yennali, Marcellus, and Serra right there with me.
"Beautiful isn't it younglings. It is a view I will never get tired of."
Oh yeah, Huyang is here as well.
"Yeah. It's amazing." I said.
Enjoying my first glimpse at a real actual hyperspace tunnel.
Instead of just seeing it as images on a screen or projected as a holographic image.
This is one of the moments I will never forget so long as I live.
In this life or any other I might happen to live.
My group continued admiring the hyperspace tunnel until master Plo Koon entered the cockpit.
When he did we all turned our attention to him.
Even Huyang.
Since the Crucible was on autopilot seeing as the hyperspace coordinates for Illum have already been entered in the ships navigation computer.
"Younglings, I realize your first time off Coruscant and in space is very exciting, but you still have responsibilities you must attend to. Now then please come along. It is time for today's lesson." Plo Koon spoke.
Because even though we are on a spacefaring adventure we still have classes and homework.
Since unlike what was shown in the Star Wars movies and television shows hyperspace travel isn't instaneous. Depending on how far your departure point and your intended destination is hyperspace travel between two points can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
That's not even taking into account the class of hyperdrive your ship is equipped with.
Yeah, I've learned the Star Wars universe mechanics is a lot more technical after living in this world.
"Yes master Plo." My friends and I said.
We then followed Plo Koon out of the Crucible cockpit and into one of the other rooms of the ancient ship, where the rest of our clanmates were meditating under the direction supervision of Komari.
Ah Komari.
Dooku's former apprentice, who thanks to the butterflies I created didn't end up getting expelled from the order and then captured and tortured by a crazy drug dealing dark side cult where she eventually became said cults leader and then was murdered by Dooku in the end in a fashion.
It's amazing how the littlest things can have such huge effects.
I mean, all I did was say just a few words to Komari a month ago and now here we are.
-----------------------------
-Flashback-
My back against the wall of a training room I had a neutral expression on my face.
Staring Komari directly in the eyes while she held me up against sad wall, an angry expression on her face.
Why is she angry you ask?
Well I may or may not have just told her I knew about her crush on Dooku.
Okay I did.
Hence my current situation.
"Van, how...." Komari growled.
Me feeling her barely restrained anger and embarrassment through the Force.
The first emotion didn't surprise me, but the second one did.
Then after I thought about it for a moment Komari feeling embarrassment made perfect sense.
Seeing she was raised as a Jedi her entire life and hasn't experienced life as a normal woman.
'Yet another great job in raising a Jedi Jedi Order. Keep up the good work.' I sarcastically thought.
This is exactly why I want my own version of the Jedi Order. Specifically based off Luke's New Jedi Order that would appear in this world in the future.
But since I am here I figure, why wait?
Moving on.
"I got a Force vision about your "intense" feelings for master Dooku, and what a horrible future path and they lead you too." I explained to Komari.
"Oh really? Well enlighten me youngling, what would my future look like if I pursued my feelings for Dooku?" Komari snarled at me.
"They would be discovered and you would be kicked out of the Order before making knighthood. Feeling abandoned by the only place you had ever called home your entire life and your master and man you desire you strive to prove yourself by joining a Jedi taskforce whose mission it is to defeat the Bando Gora. A Sith cult. But the missions ends badly and most of the Jedi apart of it are killed. While the rest are captured by the Bando Gora. You being among the capties. Believing you dead the Jedi Order gives up on searching for you captives and as such the Bando Gora is free to torture and abuse you without restraint. Suffering from such torture you end up going crazy and turning towards the dark side. Which helps you kill the leaders of the cult. But instead of destroying them you become their new leader and terrorize others until you finally end up dead at Dooku's hand years later." I explained.
"You...You're lying." Komari said.
Though the shocked and scared expression on her face and her whirlind of emotions I feel through the Force tells me she doesn't mean that.
"Search your feelings Komari. You know what I speak is the truth." I said. Having always wanted to say that line from the films.
"I....I...Why did the Force show you this vision?" Komari asked me.
Lowering to the ground as she did.
I shrugged. "No idea. You know the Force works in mysterious ways." I said. Lying through my teeth. Since there is no way Komari would believe the truth if I told her. "But if I had to take a guess I believe the Force sent me that vision about your future so I could save you. Which I want to do. Since you are my friend Komari." I honestly spoke.
Even if we have only known each other for a short time I consider her a friend.
It's strange but despite our age difference we just click.
"I...This is a lot." Komari said.
"Belive me I know. I felt the same way when the Force bestowed upon me this vision of tour future." I said.
"And the reason you didn't tell anyone else about this vision?" Komari asked.
"They might've kicked you out of the Order and like I said that is what I'm trying to prevent." I spoke.
"I see. Thanks kid." Komari said.
Then before I could respond she pulled me into a hug, pressing my face directly into her chest.
Which told me two things.
One: Komaris' chest is much bigger than her robes show.
Two: She is a lot softer than the official wiki described her to be in my previous life.
Both important pieces of information in my book.
Komari soon broke our hug. Then after processing everything I told her we had a nice long chat about her future.
-Flashback End-
--------------------------
Today Komari is coming to terms with her romantic feelings for Dooku.
With a little emotional guidance and help from me.
Which is ironic considering I was an introvert in my previous life.
Though I'm all she's got, and since I don't want to lose my friend I'm doing my best.
And its working.
Komari is not only adjusting to her feelings, but seeing her improvement Dooku recommended her for the Trials of Knighthood and she passed them with flying colors.
So she's now a Jedi Knight as I've said before.
Turning towards us Komari smiled.
As she did so my friends and I went to join the others for meditation.
After it was over we recieved lessons from Plo Koon and Komari.
This continued for an entire week before we reached our destination.
Illum.
Meaning the hunt for our Khyber crystals is on.
