Chapter 8: Making Friends

Jango Fett: "Well done kid. You really are something. What Clan do you belong to?"

Adrian had suddenly heard those words and was having an internal crisis.

Why?

Because Jango Fett hates Deathwatch with a burning Fury. He had seen his parents killed by Tor Vizsla when he was a child.

He would later in life go on to kill Tor Vizsla and cash with Deathwatch multiple times.

He had even been framed by Deathwatch, causing many Jedi to go after him. 11 Jedi had died under Dooku's leadership when they captured Jango and sent him to prison.

Needless to say, he hates Jedi and Deathwatch.

Fortunately, Adrian was super smart with a his Knowledge from all the Universes he had wished for, to prepare for this scenario.

Adrian: "I am the sole survivor of Clan Akaanir. I was going to leave the Clan due to their...extreme ideals. But they were destroyed by Deathwatch a few years ago. I am planning to make my own Clan one day."

Yes.

Adrian had prepared for this and for meeting Jango Fett of all people.

After all if he was going to become a Mandalorian Merc, then he would meet Jango at one point.

That was why he prepared a false background for himself. In his Mr.Hawke identity, he had told Pre Vizsla to ensure that Adrian Hawke is to have his background and origins as a secret no matter what.

That was how he got the agreement of Pre Vizsla to not have any records of Adrian with Deathwatch. In fact, Adrian Hawke doesn't exist...at all.

The only record that Adrian Hawke exists is inside of the Journal of the Wills.

Adrian intends to destroy the Journal of the Wills one day. But that task is impossible, even if he had a Googleplex worth of years to plan and prepare to destroy the Journal of the Wills, he will never accomplish this.

The Wills can just show up in front of him, say "Sup", and *poof*, he gets erased from existence.

He will deal with that issue in the future.

Back to the current situation.

Jango had accepted his answer. He was going to investigate whether he was telling the truth or not later on.

They congratulate him on beating them, which is rare since Cad Bane doesn't do this at all, and ask where he got all the equipment he has. He tells them that he made everything.

They introduce themselves and Adrian gives them his alias as "Zer0".

Jango asks questions on his Armour functions and Cad Bane talks about the weapons and the Blizzard bomb.

He gives a lower version of the Blizzard bomb formula and a list of the ingredients that Cad Bane can get to make it.

He tells Cad Bane that the original ingredients are rare but the list that he gave him will act as a common ingredient substitute.

Cad Bane nods his head.

They had said to him that it's foolish to give away these sorts of things.

He responded by saying he's doing it to curry favour and only giving them low grade versions.

Besides he has many more things than just what he used in the test fight now.

They talk about real reason they were here. They were contacted by Jabba to find Gadak Rifeleb.

Adrian: "Why is Cad Bane here since Jabba said it would only be you and me on this mission. Isn't it a little overkill for us 3."

Jango Fett: "Cad Bane wanted to test anybody else who Jabba sends on the job to capture Gadak Rifeleb. That's why he requested himself not to be told in the mission details. That and he was here since he had just finished his last job."

Cad Bane: "Shut it Jango! Don't govtelling others my business'"

Adrian: 'There he is! I was afraid that Cad Bane was a nice guy for a moment.'

After their little chat, they go over the info from Jabba and new Intel that Jango and Cad Bane had got from going around the city prior to Adrian's arrival.

Gadak Rifeleb is located somewhere in the market district.

Cad Bane mentions how he thinks that Gadak Rifeleb has a bad relationship with the Black Sun Council.

Adrian: "I have a way to track him down him down. When was Gadak Rifeleb last seen?"

Jango Fett: "He was at meeting with a Togruta associate."

Jango points to the basement door, indicating that they captured him.

Jango Fett: "We tried to get information out of him but with no luck, even with Bane's torture methods."

Adrian doesn't say another word and just headed to the basement to interrogate him.

Jango and Cad Bane just wait until he comes back.

Cad Bane: "1,000 Credits that he fails to get the information."

Jango Fett: "Don't be so hastey. I think Zer0 will succeed."

Cad Bane: "We'll see about that."
