Chapter 46: Mortal vs Goddess Round 4

Reunion Arc, Part 3: Reunited at Long Last

As Subject Zer0 was completed, it had sent out a pulse uncontrolled energy in all directions that reached across the entire Galaxy and even to those beyond it…

Every being, be they Force Sensitive or not had been able to sensed what was about to happen…

The Dawn of a new Age would engulf the Galaxy once again, just as it was many times in the past, be it the Hyperspace War, or the rise and fall of the Eternal Empire…a new Age creeps ever closer…

And all everybody could do is standby and watch as it unfolds before them the day it would arrive…

Meanwhile, within the World Between Worlds…

Adrian: "Speak! What do you choose! Decide now or we all will see oblivion together by day's end!"

My hand was slowly turning the Skeleton Key, threatening to unleash the horrors that lay within the Unknown Regions…

Just then we all felt a pulse of energy spread across our bodies.

I knew what it was, Subject Zer0 is finally completed!

After all these years it is finally done! After more than a decade and a half!

The Force Gods knew that I would open the portal if they didn't answer me, they could feel it.

Father: "If you do open that door, then your loved ones will not be spared by their rampage."

I turned my head to look at Ahsoka and Anakin.

The both of them knew what was happening and gave me tow gentle smiles.

I looked to Tank and he simply nodded his head ever so slightly.

Adrian: "They would follow me into Hell and back, no matter what I choose. So what do you choose?"

The Father looked to the others and then me, he had then sighed and took a step back, the Son and Daughter followed suite.

Father: "We will leave you be. Our efforts clearly did not bear fruit."

I turned to Abeloth and I could feel the anger and hatred emanating of her, she wanted to tear me apart with her own monstrous hands.

But she eventually calmed herself as much as she could and grunted, but I could feel her struggling to even do that, let alone the thought of speaking.

Adrian: "Good…now begone with all of you, if I see or feel any of you, I will open the doorway and leave it open."

The Ones had vanished from sight faster than I could blink, and Abeloth teleported to a doorway and entered through it. I immediately teleported to her door and locked it with the Skeleton Key.

Adrian: "I guess I can't say goodbyes as I am hard pressed on time…"

Anakin, Ahsoka and Tank had appeared besides me.

Anakin: "We will see you again, it'll only be a moment for us, and some years for you. Nothing would change."

Ahsoka and Anakin came in for a hug as we embraced.

Ahsoka: "Take care Dad."

Adrian: "I'll be seeing you two soon, you better not get a boyfrie-"

Ahsoka: "Leave!"

She tried pushing me, but physically she can't, although I was surprised by her strength though as I actually felt like I was going to have to take a step backwards.

I laughed out loud at her trying to get rid of me and my teasing of her, I looked to Tank and he gave me a military salute.

I left them to their own devices as I knew the future me will close the doorway for them when they go back to their time in the future.

As for me, I must return to the present.

I jumped back through the portal I had came from initially and when I exited I had to find Jinx as fast as I can so she can lock the doorway.

Sidious is probably trying to access it by now since the Mortis Gods he was wary of had finally left.

I soon reached the room that Subject Zer0 was within, and when I entered it I saw an heavily injured Jinx and Sitral fighting against Ava.

I didn't have my helmet, nor my armour, with me so I wasn't able to sue the X-Ray vision to see through the walls.

I expected this outcome but Sitral was far too damaged to help me now, Jinx can't help me now to kill Ava with her Meetra Surik power to "Kill the Force".

Ill just have to go with Plan B and use The Prisim on Ava instead of Abeloth.

I stealthily made my way to Subject Zero and I poured the waters from the Font of Power and Pool of Knowledge into two inject ports into the Bacta Tank.

I pressed a button and the waters entered the Bacta Tank.

I then removed Wraithguard from my hands and placed it inside of the Horadric Cube along with Sunder and Keening.

All three Tools of Kagranac fused together and I then fused it with some water I placed inside the Horadric Cube.

The powers of all three of the Tools of Kagranac was now in a liquid form. I then did the same thing with the two previous injections and injected the Kagranac water into Subject Zer0.

I took out a small metallic sphere the size of my pinkie nail, I swallowed it and felt a burning sensation course throughout my body.

I didn't have enough time to finish of what I had to do, so I then had the sensers scan my body as it read my mind, soul and DNA signatures.

Once it confirmed it was me, it entered it's finally process and the Bacta Tank was then pulled through the floor and down into a bunker chamber that would finish it of once and for all.

I jumped down after Subject Zero that had just descended through the newly opened hole in the floor, once I landed, I used my water bending to control the water throughout a large mechanical machine that stood at a height of around 24 metres. I used the water bending to open the cockpit of MGS and entered it…

Ava pov:

I was panting after a long and hard-fought battle against Jinx and the Predaking Sitral.

Jinx was the real opponent and Sitral served as her backup to cover her when she was left exposed to me, which rarely happened in our intense battle.

She had even stabbed me through the heart and head a number of times, but I had taken advantage of my ability to not die.

Ever since I had "died" to Adrian on Mandalore for the first time I had thought of many new fighting styles to take advantage of this newfound ability, and I used it in this battle.

She was definetly far more experienced than me in combat and in utilising the Force, but my connection to it was far stronger and so too was the original and customised style of fighting I had used.

Jinx was limping and Sitral looked like it would break down into parts at any moment, but just then Jinx's eyes widened slightly as her body perked up.

Jinx: "Alright then, I'll close the doorway. Cya back on The Dreadnought Adrian."

She was talking with him!

Just as I was about to take action, she was carried off by Sitral and had escaped from me, I was about to chase after them, but I saw a dark crimson glow emanate from off the surroundings.

I made a dash for the window and leapt through it, while I was falling, I turned to see that the entire castle had looked like it had sprouted thousands of spiked-rock formations from the inside out.

*High-Pitched Mechanical Roaring*

I used the Force to hover above the ground and nullify any impact I may experience from the Fall.

Once I did, I turned to look at the castle, or what remained of it, as in the next instant it had exploded and scattered debris in all directions.

I blocked what came towards me, I looked at the ruins of the castle and saw a large mechanical figure standing there, wielding a strange reddish-black glowing sword.

Adrian: "This will be the last time we fight Jedi! Prepare to become one with the Force!"

His voice echoed from whatever device had projected them from the machine he was inside of.

Adrian: "BEHOLD THE MIGHT OF METAL GEAR SAHELANTHROPUS!!!"

*MG Sahelanthropus roaring*

I re-ignited my Lightsaber as Adrian in the mechanical weapon Sahelanthropus, was charging at me.

In the next instant it fired dozens of missiles from it's back and thighs, I saw the approaching rockets and I didn't bother to use the Force to stop them as I knew that he would have made them Force proof as he did three years ago in our last encounter.

I leapt high into the air, dodging a missile and landing on the side of another, I then proceeded to jump from missile to missile using them as stepping stones for me to reach Sahelanthropus.

I landed on it's head and tried slashing at it with my Lightsaber but all it did was to create sparks and only a mark on it's surface.

I was about to jump to another place on it's body to try again, but in the next moment I was screaming in pain as I felt electricity surge through my body from my feet.

I felt that it's hands must have grabbed me while I was in pain from the electricity.

Ava: "AAAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!"

I screamed as I felt my body get crushed in Sahelanthropus' large and powerful hand, as it tightened its hold on me.

I was resisting with all my might to use the Force to create a expanding barrier around my body to separate its grip on me.

Adrian realised what I was doing and quickly released his grip on me and I saw him using his other hand to try and swat me between both hands with the approaching right fist.

I had no time to react and so I went with the only option available to me, I used all my focus and concentration to enhance my physical strength with the Force and raised my hands, which was met by his right fist.

I screamed as I used all my strength to push back his fist and used my legs to press and push against the left hand's palm which I was standing on.

I heard the sound of the mechanical gears and pistons hiss and strain as it tried to crush me.

Then, when I thought this would never end, he moved both hands and I felt my body soar through the air as I was thrown like to the horizon.

I saw the light of the setting sun over Xixis as I used the Force to levitate my body and land on the ground once more.

I was well over 150 metres away from him.

He took out a small metallic device that looked like a handle, the same reddish-black blade from before had then grown from the handle.

He raised the sword and plunged it into the ground, the same rock spikes that I recognise as the ones that destroyed the castle had made its way in a path towards me, sprouting up from the ground as it left a trail of destruction in its path.

I brought both my hands together and channelled as much power as I could, when the spouting trail of rock spikes was about to reach me, I plunged both my hands to the ground.

The energy I had condensed and released into the ground, destroyed and uplifted the terrain within a hundred meters of me and an earthquake was caused that spread more thana thousand meters in all directions.

*MG Sahelanthropus roaring*

Sahelanthropus roared as I witnessed it fall from having been affected from the shockwave of the counter-attack I had just done.

I Force Jumped across the vast distance between us and landed on its body, it was trying to recover from the fall, and taken a swing at me with its hand.

I simply evaded it and I examined its body, trying to locate a weak spot.

It tried to electrocute me, but I was able to bear through the pain as I had created a constant Force Barrier around my body in the form of an invisible thin membrane.

I continued to dodge more of its attacks and that was when I noticed it, the joints between its arms located at the armpits!

I jumped to the armpit of Sahelanthropus and I used my Lightsaber to slash at it.

My blade went right through it, but wasn't able to cut the upper-outer plating. Regardless, it wasn't able to use its left arm now.

I retreated backwards and saw Sahelanthropus stand up once again.

It tried moving its arm but knew it was broken, so instead it tore it off and had thrown it at me!

I just narrowly dodged it as the attack was executed almost immediately.

Sahelanthropus raised its sword once more, but then slashed at me multiple times, energy like wave had came hurtling towards me, I felt like I could counter it ad so I trusted the Force that was trying to guide me and I unleashed so much Force Lighting, that thunderclouds had formed above us.

I stared at Sahelanthropus as I saw dozens of bolts of lighting strike the body of the mechanical menace.

The thunder had been able to incapacitate it as I saw it became motionless like a statue for a few moments.

I began running towards it as fast as I could before Sahelanthropus can recover.

It was then that I had gotten a revelation and idea from the droplets of rain as it fell upon my face.

When I both cut and saw Sahelanthropus' arm get torn off its body, I saw a stream of water flow out of it.

I used the force to feel for any water within the body of Sahelanthropus and it turned out that water was the reason it could move. But how was he controlling all that water without utilizing the Force?

I put that thought to the back of my head as I reached close enough to be in range of what I will do next.

I spread my hands out wide and used all the power I could muster to telekinetically grab every single water particle within Sahelanthropus!

I clenched both my hands as I began to pull them away from each other as if I was tearing something in my hands.

I was met with a lot of resistance as I tried with all my might to rip the water out of Sahelanthropus.

I roared with all my might as I suddenly pulled my hands apart in an instant.

An explosion erupted as I was flung back, and the water from the now destroyed Sahelanthropus fell from the sky causing rain to cover my body.

…

I don't know how long it was, but I finally regained consciousness. My body was in constant pain, but I pushed through it as I felt it was beginning to heal.

I limped as I had my Lightsaber ignited, Adrian Hawke was too much of a threat to let live.

He would only escape again as I was in no condition to take him captive, he will surely escape before I can make it back to the fleet.

I passed through a veil of mist and saw a figure on the ground moving pat the remains of the destroyed Sahelanthropus that lay all around us.

I quickly approached the figure and saw that it was a male.

That had to be him, who else can it be.

I saw Adrian was crawling along the ground and was reaching for a Bacta Tank that had somehow survived the explosion.

I raised my Lightsaber as I brought it downwards and plunged it into his heart through the back.

I saw he had coughed a mouthful of blood as hi hand went limp and his breathing began to quiet down.

I turned off my Lightsaber. I saw that he didn't have a helmet, nor his armour, I saw the hair on the back of his head.

I reached down to him and turned his body over…

I looked into his eyes…

…

His face…

…

His eyes…

…

…

I…

My eyes went wide with horror and shock as I saw his face had overlapped with another face!

One that was younger, one that I recognised!

Ava: "Amar! NNNNOOOOO!!!"

I clenched my head as I felt the world crumble all round me as my mid was assaulted with unbearable pain, I felt me memories return to me like a fog having been lifted after so long!

Ava had unleashed a Force Scream so powerful that it disintegrated the body of Adrian and the entire planet of Xixis soon crumbled away and imploded in on itself.

Ulthaan had appear and taken Jinx, Kal and the others on the planet to safety when this happened, as for why, no one will ever know…

After some time since Xixis was destroyed, two things had survived the explosion and were now floating in space where Xixis once was…

One was Ava Kendra…

And the other was…

Subject Zer0…
