Preparations Arc, Part 6: Two Sides of an Coin

Ava pov:

*Flashback scene* (2 weeks ago, as soon as Hawke transmission stopped)

I was summoned before the Jedi Council only an hour ago. I had been apart of their discussions for a while now. They had been arguing on who to send since Zer0, but now revealed to be Adrian Hawke, had given a list of Jedi Masters that were not to be allowed to come to the meeting. On that list it included only one Padawan was not allowed, naturally it was me – Padawan Ava Kendra.

The strongest and most experienced Jedi Masters were not allowed to go, leaving only newly promoted Jedi Masters or ones that were not capable of fighting even to the tenth the strength that Hawke can.

But then, Master Plo Koon said something that shocked me still for the entirety of the following conversation.

Plo Knoon: "I propose making young Ava the representative for this meeting."

Shaak Ti: "It is very rare to skip the rank of Knight and become a Master from being an Padawan. But could you explain more about what you are suggesting?"

Plo Koon: "Zer0, or Hawke, had said that only a Jedi Master of the Jedi Order can go to the meeting. He never said anything about Jedi Masters that have either been exiled or left the order on their own free will, and returning to the Order to act as a representative for this meeting."

Ki-Adi-Mundi: "So you are saying that we make her into a Master, and she either leaves or we exile her, and then she would be able to go to the meeting as our representative. She is the only one that has fought him one-on-one and been able to put up an even fight against him."

Yoda: "Well deserved, the rank of Master, she is, agree with this idea, I do."

Windu: "I also agree with this plan. She has already passed all her trials, and just recently she has passed the Trial of the Spirit when facing Zer0. Kendra, this is an important mission the Council is tasking you with. We won't exile you as you do not deserve that, even if it is a part of this plan. you must capture or somehow find out the location of all the Artifacts, Books and the Force Sensitive List at all costs. So you understand the gravity of this mission?"

Ava: "Yes Master!"

I let out a small shout as I had come back to reality from the sudden question being directed towards me.

Yoda: "Be careful, you must, on Dathomir, powerful witches the Nighsisters are. Meet with in the past, I did. Well, it did not go. Have Hatred and Hostility, towards the Jedi the do."

Ava: "I will be cautious when with them Master Yoda!"

*Flashback, entering the Solar System of Dathomir*

She then returns her mind back to the present and prepares to exit Hyperspace. She had travelled along the Hydian Way Hyperspace Lane and left it when she was near Dathomir.

After landing, she sensed many individuals nearby and were surrounding there.

The figures revealed themselves and held Bows with purple plasma arrows drawn and aimed at me, while others held blades of many shapes.

These are the Nightsisters?

Nightister: "Stop! Hand over the Lightsaber Jedi!"

Without voicing a word of protest, I gave them my Lightsaber to them. I had then been guided until I met a taller woman in more intricate clothing.

Talzin: "Welcome Master Jedi. We have been expecting you. I am Talzin, Elder of the Nightsister Clan."

Ava: "Greetings, Elder Talzin. My name is Master Ava Kendra, I am in your care."

Talzin: "Yes…you are…please, follow me so that we may beigin."

I followed Talzin to the meeting room and as she entered, I followed begind her. When I did, I saw Adrian Hawke.

He must be surprised to see me, hehe.

Why don't I mess with him as a little payback.

Ava: "Surprised to see me?"

He immediately stood up and glared at me through his Madalorian Helmet.

Adrian: "What is she doing here!?!?"

Talzin: "This is the Jedi Master Ava Kendra. To meet with you on behalf of the Jedi Council."

Adrian: "She is no Master! She is a Padawan!"

The other Nightsisters in the room aim at her with her weapons but Talizin calms them down.

Talzin: "Could you explain what is the meaning of this?"

Ava: "I am indeed a Master. I had been promoted to the rank of master only recently."

Adrian: "I specifically specified that you were not to come!"

Ava: "You said that "Padawan Ava Kendra" was not to come, nothing about "Master Ava Kendra". And besides, I am no longer apart of the Jedi Order as I have left the Order of my own free will, but they had requested me to act as a representative on the behest of the Jedi Order. You had not said specified that former Jedi were not included, and thus I accepted their request to come to this meeting."

I used the Force and could sense Hawke's anger and fear of her. He definitely didn't expect this outcome to occur.

I will capture him and bring him before the Council to face justice for killing Obi-Wan.

I could still remember the Jedi Pyre that was held for him in the following days of his death, Dutchess Satine had mourned for days and I had sensed that she would have committed s.u.i.c.i.d.e were it not for the responsibly she had to her people.

Before she dies, she had wanted to see justice be carried out for his death, and I promised her that it would be delivered.

Adian Hawke seemed shocked still for a few moments before he faced and spoke to Talzin.

Adrian: "Mother Talzin. I urge extreme caution with her while she is here. She needs no Lightsaber as a weapon, because she is a weapon herself."

I grimaced at this as he called me a weapon, I am a Jedi.

Ava: "I am a peacekeeper, not a weapon of slaughter, the Jedi would not attack an unarmed and defenceless individual and only in self-defence."

Adrian: "Is that so. Then why did the council insist on sending you? They sent you to capture me once I leave Dathomir didn't they? You are the only one other than most of the Jedi of the Jedi Council that could actually accomplish that."

I couldn't say anything to that, because everything he said was true. Somehow she felt she knew Hawke from a long time ago from the constant…familiar…arguing they were doing, but at the same time she had only met him months ago for the first time

Talzin: "Now then, can we begin the talks? I see nothing wrong in what Master Kendra had said regarding her being a representative of the Jedi Order."

Adrian: "*sigh* Very well. I will allow it. Let's begin."

And with that, the two of us sat down at opposite ends of the table as we began a staring contest with one another.

Neither of us spoke for a full 5 minutes until I had enough and broke the silence.

Ava: "Are you going to show your face?"

Adrian: "No, I will not."

Ava: "Why?"

Adrian: "I don't want to be hunted down even when I take off my helmet to relax. It will get very stuffy and uncomfortable, my head itches nearly all the time and taking it off without being dismembered by Jedi is the best time of my life. *Maybe I should ask Dagger about that head scratcher he has built in his helmet? Was it Model 3000 or something?*"

Seriously? That's his reason? And he is just ignoring me like I don't even exist?! RUDE!!!

Ava: "Why are you Bounty Hunter?"

Adrian: "I need to earn money and a lot of reputation on my name."

Ava: "Why?"

Adrian: "So no one challenges me in the future."

Ava: "Why were you on Ord Mantell since that incident?"

Adrian: "Of course you would ask that. I was on a bounty hunting an male Togruta who attempted to kill Jabba the Hutt, a bounty was placed on his head and I tracked him down to Ord Mantell."

Ava: "Why did Abeloth attack you?"

!!!

I had never felt such Hate and Killing intent from anybody before?!

And right now, it felt like thousands of blades was ready to cut me to pieces, and I truly believed that would happen!

I wanted to touch my throat, as I felt it itch.

I had gotten this feeling for the following week since the time on Mandalore. I had "Died" for the first time on Madalore and I had my consciousness leave my body for a moment.

I had met with a black-haired girl. When I asked who she was. She replied "Gwen." And just like that, I returned to my body and my wound had healed. That was truly a terrifying experience!

And I could feel that it might happen at any given moment, if I even dared to move.

Adrian: "Where did you learn that name?"

His voice was silent like a whisper, but I could hear it loud and clear.

Ava: "I-I-I saw an illusion of her and another person with wings, fighting her on a grassy plane. He called her Abeloth and he was called Ulthaan…"

I was scared at what might happen if I didn't reply to him, and so I did so unconsciously.

I could sense confusion from him but then a feeling of realisation a moment later.

The feeling of my imminent death had faded away like it was never there to begin with.

Adrian: "I don't know why she wanted to kill me…. she just showed up and plunged my heart with her hand. I was able to recover and survive as she vanished having thought I was dead."

It was difficult to tell if he was lying or not, but I did feel he was mostly telling the truth, so I didn't press for any more details. I doubt he would give me any more.

Ava: "Why did you raid the Jedi Temple?"

Adrian: "I did it for a very good reason. To destroy the Sith Shrine beneath your temple on behalf of someone who hired me."

Strange…he is telling the truth completely?

What Ava did not know, was that Talzin had hired Adrian to destroy the Sith Altar.

Adrian told Talzin to hire him, even though he was going to do it regardless, so that when he was questioned about why he attacked the Temple, he would be able to tell this reason and get away in situations like right now, since he was telling the truth.

Ava: "What do you intend to do with the Force Sensitive List?"

Adrian: "For a good cause that the Jedi would agree with."

He was telling the truth again?!

I continued to ask question after question and he would answer then or give brief ones or wouldn't even say anything to all. Eventually I asked a personal question I myself wanted to know as I had read the history of Mandalore. Mostly about it's past rulers like Mandalore the Ultimate.

Ava: "What do you intend to do in the future? Do you want to rule Madalore? What would you do if you did rule?"

Adrian: "Hoho. Why do you ask that?"

Ava: "Because you are a Mandalorian. Your people holds hostile relationships with the Jedi and are war mongering criminals!"

I don't actually think all Madalorians are war mongering, Dutchess Satine is one of them along with Prime Minister Almec and the many Madalorians I had previously met. But I could sense that he understood what I meant.

Adrian: "We are going there, are we? Okay then. Your Jedi Order are nothing but Brainwashing Kidnappers. You Steal children away from their parents without the child's consent or decision. The child is not even old enough to know that they will abandon their family, forget them, will never know nor care if they died in a war since they never knew them to begin with. Your Jedi Cult are no different from the Sith. You are only one side of the coin. The Force is both Light and Dark. One cannot exist without the other. The Je'daii knew this. They trained to learn both ways of the Force and live in perfect Balance with the Coldness of Space and the Warmth of the Sun. You need both Heat and Cold to survive. If your body gets too Cold then you will die because you are not Warm enough. If you are too Warm, then you will be burned to ashes or fall dead on the ground because you couldn't Cool your body down. There is an opposite to everything. Poor and Rich, Weak and Powerful, Night and Day, Light and Darkness, Sun and the Moon, Water and Fire, Earth and Wind, Time and Space, Good and Evil, Male and Female. There is always two sides to one coin. Always a Begining and an End, a Hero and a Villain. Your Jedi Cult chooses only one side of the coin and rejected the other because it is the opposite of the Jedi's side of the coin. The same for the Sith. A Sith can become a Jedi and a Jedi could become a Sith. Your Jedi Cult have created more Sith than the Je'daii ever had because you refuse to allow the Jedi to feel emotions of Love, Happiness, Joy and Empathy. This causes Lust, Desire, Anger, Jealousy, Necessity, Desperation all because they weren't able to control their emotions from the beginning and were taught to be Emotionless and controlled puppets. My people (Mandalorians) are no different. There are those that want to kill and spread war but there are those who want to stop it and have peace. I simply want to have order for my people and ensure no more wars are started. Since Tarre Vizsla's rule, he accomplished this. I want to do the same..."

By this point she was completely stunned by what he said that she forgot why she came here and began to have doubts about herself and the Jedi Order of what he said.

She didn't know why but she decided to have a drink from a cup, that was not there before as if it had appeared out of thin air, and drank it. She felt that the drink calmed her enough to make a decision of her own and decided that the talks have come to an end as she could no longer continue after taking in what he had just said.

She had unconsciously stood up and left thereafter.

Adrian pov:

Moments after Ava had left.

Talzin: "You said what you thought about the Jedi...but can I ask what you think if the Sith?"

Adrian: "The Jedi are better than the Sith since they are Pacifists and actually try to bring order and balance, not realising that as long as they continue to reject the Dark Side unlike the Je'daii, then there will never be an end to the Sith. I will kill every Sith and reform the Jedi Order somehow into what the Je'daii once was...or destroy it. I recommend that you try to ally yourself with the Jedi. You can still accomplish your goals of conquest even while not antagonising the Jedi. In fact, the Jedi will serve as the perfect way to back up your claim of conquest if they agree you are a good Ruler of the Galaxy and don't cause it harm. Much like how the Jedi supports the Senate and the Republic."

Talzin made a note to ponder on this in depth in the future.

Talzin: "What about her?"

Adrian: "Leave her be. Did you do exactly as I requested?"

Talzin: "Yes. She will never know unless she reads your mind."

I nod my head at her words. I had made an type of spell tracker on her to know where, when and what she is doing at all times.

I had done my speech to cause her to have doubts and lower her mental guard. Talzin had then filled the room with an invisible Alchemical Substance made from Nightsister Magic and Sith Alchemy to 'charm' Ava into drinking the Cup with the Tracking Liquid. Unlike a tracker that can be removed, this is permanent and will last until either I or she dies as I had binded it with my own Magics.

I can now focus through one of my eyes to see what she is doing now and what she had done in the recent past. I can also read her thoughts, emotions and senses, just like how a Jedi was able to. However, this is riskier since she may be able to detect the other features of this new ability I have to spy on her, except seeing through the eye and hearing through her ears, which I can do as much as I want without being detected by her.

I used the eye in one eye and I could see her prepare herself to ambush me, she had hidden her ship behind an of asteroid in the Solar System.

I had anticipated this and decided to lure her to follow me to my Plan D trap site.

The Plans I had made for tis meeting were many, but these were the main ones:

Plan A - If the Jedi Council follows his plan perfectly. Have Jedi Master drink a Controlling Liquid. That way he can have a Jedi Master as his personal Slave and undercover puppet in the Jedi Order, while still having semi-conscious free will.

Plan B - If Plan A does not work then just proceed as nothing happened.

Plan C - If he is captured then during the transport have his newly created and upgraded Terror Army (from the Starforge in the last two weeks) to attack the Jedi and free him, using an Interdictor Ship to pull them out of Hyperspace Travel along the Hydian Way back to Corruscant.

Plan D - If Padawan Ava comes alone on behalf of a Jedi Master as their Representative, then use a Tracking Liquid to put inside her via by her drink. Then take her to trap site made to fight her specifically.

Plan E - If a Jedi Master and Ava come together. Have her Drink Tracking Liquid. If that fails then continue with part 2 of Plan E and lure them to Deathwatch to create political chaos within the Senate that the Jedi are attacking a Neutral World and goes in direct violation of the Neutral Treaty of Mandalore. Thus, making it seem that the Jedi had broken a serious War Crime which can be used by Cerberus to hinder their movements politically and allow Cerberus to dominate the Trade Federation without any Republic or Jedi interference. This is the most desirable outcome.

Plan F - If many Jedi Come and attack without talking then have the Nightsisters and Mother Talzin help, using a large magical trap that will remove the Jedi connection to the Force. Broadcast this wide to the Galaxy and expose the Jedi and weaken the Republic from within due to a violation of Neutral Grounds (Dathomir acted as Neutral meeting point (like how Ahsoka and Plo Koon met with Boba Fett and Aura Sing to negotiate on behalf of Mace Windu for the Clone Hostages. Florrum and the Pirates were Neutral in this meeting.))

Plan G - If a strong Council Member like Yoda or Mace Windu comes. Literally have Talzin as a meat shield and do everything to escape to a Teleportation Magic circle that would have taken him to the Male villages. As he doesn't want to cause political trouble for himself by facing of a Jedi of their calibre, even if he can defeat them

The only thing that took me by surprise in Plan D was that she was made into a Jedi Master was able to find a loophole to still come to the meeting and have greater freedom in the questioning then a normal representative would possess because of her unique circumstances and not as representing one.

I made my way to the Icarus and got ready to take off.

When she said Abeloth's name, I was shocked at how she could have learned her name?!

I was prepared to use my imitation of the Gates of Babylon from Fate series to erase her very existence, even if I was forced to reveal one of my greatest Trump Cards.

Oh…

Yeah…

I forgot to mention it didn't I?

It isn't that much of a shock is it?

Anyone of those fanfic MC idiots can make their own Gates of Babylon technique.

All you need is the items to store inside it, and a storage space ability.

Bam!

There you go.

That is literally what Gates of Babylon technique is…well, not exactly, but that is the main gist of it though.

And I had made every weapon inside of my storage space, if I released them all at the same time, which I could, then I have a Gates of Babylon right there.

I was in my ship and made sure that Ava was following me to Plan D trap site. There I will have my fight with her and deal with her…permanently, with me having a home field advantage against her.
