(An argument between the Master and her apprentice.)

Chapter nine:

Cale shot out of his bed, panting. Sweat covering his shirtless form. Wait a minute... Shirtless? Where is he? How did he get here?

Cale shot from the bed and went to find a bathroom. After taking a shower and throwing on some clean clothes Cale walked out the door.

He instantly knew these halls. These were the halls of his grandfather's Cloud Casino. He heard faint noises of coins hitting metal. However on the other side he heard... a pained cry. Running towards it he found a door. Inside the door was sobs of pain and suffering. It was horrible.

Plucking up his courage he opened up the door to see Rey curled up in a ball. Rey instantly flung a bottle at the door with the Force.

Out!! She told her apprentice.

Cale held a surprised look but then gave her a cheeky grin.

I guess I should've knocked. Cale told his Master.

Rey stood up from her bed and thrusted her hand forward causing Cale to fly into the wall. He couldn't move his limbs or sort out his thoughts. Rey briskly walked to the flat form on the wall with her hand stuck out. Once she was close Rey smacked her apprentice across his face, with tears in her eyes.

Um... ow. Said Cale Lestin.

Shut up!! It's all your fault!! Rey told her apprentice, slapping him across the face once more.

What's my fault? Cale asked Rey.

Everything! Rey began to yell at her apprentice. Then she slapped him across the face a third time.

Bullshit that's a lie and you know it! Cale replied to Rey.

Slowly, Rey lowered her head down ashamed that Cale tried to kill himself while fighting the Godzilla walker's and Kylo Ren, and then she released Cale from his hold. He slid to his knees before quickly standing back up. Rey sat back down on the bed and curled up once more under the covers.

Slowly Cale walked over to the bed and sat down as Rey's cries racked the bed. Cale put a comforting hand on Rey's hand.

I know... how it feels. I also know that you took me in when no one else would have but... you need to understand. I know the pain you are going through... Kylo Ren killed my parents. Cale told Rey.

At this Rey looked at Cale with wide puffy eyes. Rey finally realized that she wasn't the only one in pain. Cale was too. Possibly more than her. He just couldn't put it into words.

Well I guess I'll leave you to it Rey. Cale told Rey.

Cale touched the door handle but something stopped him.

Wait! Rey called out to him.

Cale sharply turned around to be squeezed into a hug. Shockingly, Cale hugged Rey back. Although hesitantly.

Don't go... Rey said refusing to let him go.

Alright, Cale told her. They stood and hugged each other. One person hugging the other. Cale felt a stutter in his stomach and gasped. Did he like Rey? Impossible... well maybe not impossible. Maybe for the first time in years could he have found paradise within Rey?
