Chapter 10:The invasion begins

Naboo, Theed

Royal Palace, Throne Room

The atmosphere in the throne room today is bleak, Padme has just failed to negotiate diplomacy with the Viceroy, and is now face to face with Palpatine's hologram.

''Negotiations have not started because the ambassadors are not there?,Palpatine says in a doubtful tone,''How can that be true?''.

That was all he said before the Holocommunication was cut, and then the council started saying the obvious that interrupting communications means invasion,but Padme makes use of his best display of naivety and stubbornness, saying that they must still continue to trust in negotiation and diplomacy,and she will not tolerate acts that could lead to war.

Meanwhile, during the whole conversation, I've been using the invisibility of the force to hide from Palpatine, I still can't let the old goat know that there is another player in this game, although the atmosphere in the room is bleak,nobody panicked,although padme didn't trust me 100%,she still followed my warning,and made her own preparations for the invasion,so even if an invasion does occur, the people of Naboo will use strategic places to take refuge, giving her time enough to seek help from the senate.

It is a pity that the help she expects from the Senate will never come, the Senate is corrupt to the core, and Palpatine is one of the hands that control it,so even if I get involved, nothing will change about it, and although it may be cruel,it is necessary for Padme to go through all this so that she can grow as a queen.

Finishing my little monologue, I feel a slight tremor in the force,using a basic force vision application,I can feel the ships full of droids being sent to various areas of Naboo, some preparing to invade Theed, and others looking for Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.

Opening my eyes,I look at the council,still discussing what to do in the situation,I finish my meditation, stomping my feet heavily to draw everyone's attention to me,and as expected, everyone stops talking and turns to me.

I look into each other's eyes, before I turn to Padme,''They're coming, the invasion has started,''I said calmly and close my eyes,I expand my senses through Naboo, and I can feel two powerful beings in the force, Qui -gon and Obi-Wan, "The representatives of the chancheler also arrived on the planet, they are two Jedi's, but it will still be time before they arrive."

I can see the joy and hope forming in their eyes when they find out that the representatives are Jedi,but I throw a bucket of cold water at them saying,"Only two Jedi are not enough to stop this invasion".

''So what do you suggest I do,'' Padme asks me with hope in her eyes, now that she knows I was being sincere, the little caution she still had about me is gone.

''Forgive me Padme,but this is for you to decide,all I can promise is that I will be by your side,and I will not let any harm come to you''I reply with a small smile of apology.

She bites her lips slightly for a second, before giving me a nod of thanks,before returning to the queen's impassiveness, and seems to be pondering what to do,before giving Sabé a complicated look,she says'' Let's go Sabé,you will take my place, captain, join the guards,we will defend this place,until the jedi arrive'',then she leaves for a side room,with Sabé and the maids right behind.

Captain Panaka gives me a complicated look, during these last six months, he still doubted me, more than anyone, but he didn't hold a grudge anymore for the joke I made, it seems that he could see that I had no bad intentions for Padme, Shaking his head, he runs out of the rooms as he begins to order the guards to organize for the defense of the palace until the arrival of the Jedi.

Taking the hint, I also start to move under the gaze of the council, which still remains in place, after taking 3 steps, I disappear in a gust of wind, using the teleport ability of the force I appear directly on the staircase in front the entrance to the palace.

three little bee-shaped droids get out of my clothes and start floating in front of me.

'' Yes, I want you to hide and record everything that will happen in this city, don't miss anything, when the time comes, I will summon you, now go, '' with my orders each one starts flying in one direction.

I continue on the stairs for a few more minutes, before looking in a certain direction, through the force, I can see the battalions of droids coming close to Theed, with several ships already flying over the city.

I look at them with a battle-hungry smile, '' I can finally let go, hehe this will be a lot of fun '', with that murmur and a huge smile, I teleport back to the throne room.

When I come back, I find all council members staring at me with wide eyes as if they saw a ghost.

'' What? '' I say with an indifferent face, as if what I did was no different than breathing, but inside I am laughing at their expression going from amazement to confusion and again amazement at a speed that would leave any poker player lost.

Before any of them can ask a question, Padme returns with the maid's entourage, she is now without makeup and dressed as a servant, while Sabé took her place dressed in the same black queen costume as in the movie.

At the same time, Panaka enters the throne room with a contingent of fully armed guards, before starting to position them, Padme and the maid's also begin to arm themselves with blaster pistols as they all received training for situations like this, Padme turns to me before saying, "Do you need a gun too? I never saw you use a lightsaber before," she looks around my waist, as if trying to find some hidden lightsaber.

''It's not necessary, I have my 'tricks' '',I answer with a mysterious smile and a playful look, I really want these damn droids to arrive soon so that I can crush them.

''Oh sure,'' Padme says from a short pause, I think she remembered what happened the day we met.

Council members approach Padme right now,"Your highness, what do you plan to do after meeting with the Jedi?"

Padme seems to ponder while hiding a blaster in his calf, as a spy would do, before she arm herself with another ELG-3A blaster , '' We will act according to the outcome of the negotiations by the Jedi ambassadors, if it still does not resolve, I will have to leave Naboo and go to the senate to appeal for help,if that happens i will let Naboo in your hands''she says with a serious face, before giving a small smile in my direction, '' fortunately, with John's warning, the preparations we have made should be enough to give me time to go to the senate and come back. ''

Before the council member can say anything, I interrupt them with a hand accent, '' they have arrived, and are fighting with the guards at the entrance ''.

"Get ready !!", Padme says in a commanding tone.

All the guards follow her orders and start looking for cover's and good positions to shoot, Padme intended to do the same, but I just hold her by the forearm.

She stops and gives me a confused look, as if asking why I stopped her, '' Just stay close to me, '' I answer your unspoken question, before turning to Sabé, '' you too ''.

Padme just frowns his eyebrows and stares at me.

''You still don't trust me?'', I say with a calm smile, totally unaffected by the situation.

She bites her lips gently, as if she felt guilty for not trusting me until now, if she did, we might not have been in that situation, but she is still a strong girl and soon recovers and stay behind me, Sabé follows her decision and it is next to Padme, with the rest of the maids behind us.

Soon we can hear the blaster shots approaching the room, everyone starts to become more tense as time goes by, until eventually.

Along with the explosion of the door, a flurry of blaster shots goes flying, with just over a dozen drois trying to force entry into the room, but at the same time the guards start to return fire and bring down the droids,starting a chaotic battle,star wars style.

Then I make my movement, from my right arm 3 'steel' cables come out and take position in front of me,using the force to control 'Orochi',I hit all the blaster shots that come towards us, with my reflexes increased by the force these shots look like slow motion, so it's pretty easy, but I still need to work on the 'Orochi' control, so instead of hitting the shots back at them and risking hitting an ally, I randomly direct them towards the ceiling.

At the same time I start to concentrate a wave of TK concentrated in my left hand in the best Starkiller style(AN:whoever played Star wars force unleashed 2 knows, and who doesn't, what the hell are you doing here?GO PLAY IT!!), before sending a wave of power towards the droids, the Force's power begins to push and destroy everything in its path, all the drois caught , or are destroyed directly upon contact with the power, or with the impact with the walls afterwards, seeing that there are no more blaster shots coming, I keep 'Orochi' back on my sleeve,to wait for the next wave of 'Mob's'.

Due to the long explanation it may have seemed that it took a long time for all this to happen, but the time between the action of summoning and saving 'Orochi' was not more than 3 seconds, so we are in a somewhat strange situation now, where the room is in silence mortal, with everyone staring at me with wide eyes and mouths.

While everyone is staring at me, I'm paying attention to the text boxes I haven't seen in a long time.
