Malekith, Oriana, and René were the only passengers Malekith had allowed aboard the shuttle they took planetside. He took them to the Massassi temples, landing the shuttle where the future rebel base would be located. He could feel the slumbering power of the planet, as strong like the Jedi temple on Coruscant itself.

Disembarking, he observed the temple. Who knows what powers have lingered all this time. Making his way forward he scanned the surface.

"We aren't going too far in, out here should be enough to prove my point about the planet. Open yourself to the force, feel the life."

The two women did as he said, both shaking in awe at the raw power resonating throughout the world. Oriana was more receptive to the power, being raised on Coruscant. Malekith delved his consciousness into the depths of the planet, feeling the power at his beck and call. It seemed that many force users said the words "the force connects all living things", without truly knowing the feeling of a planet's energy field. He doubted many Jedi stopped what they were doing and just allowed themselves to be a gateway. He noticed many that tried to, well....force the force through their bodies. It was nirvana, experiencing the biosphere communicating.

He waited to feel René enter the biosphere, then 'moved' his mind over to hers. Oriana eventually managed to pop up, and both Malekith and René gently pushed on her mind, coercing her out of her shields. This was the force.

Dragging himself out, he stared at the girls. Oriana was clearly surprised and happy, where René was in euphoria. He let them enjoy themselves for a few minutes as he observed the temple. After what was probably 40 minutes, they eventually came back.

"I've used the force for my entire life and never knew that this was possible. Why?"

"What do the Jedi teach?"

"There is no emotion, there is only peace.", she automatically repeated.

"That philosophy is great if you know how to be healthy in releasing your emotions, it's not as great if you've built walls to keep it in. The force is your emotions, it is also peace. If you can't open up, you will never be able to reach your full potential. It's why I will never understand the Jedi, you are all dooming yourselves to failure."

"I feel like I should argue...but you're right. I've never been the most enthusiastic about our teachings, but I never suspected that they were so flawed. Actually, that makes me really, really mad."

"How so?"

"Six weeks. In six weeks my power in the force has, at minimum, tripled. I am learning new things about something that dictates my life daily and my old teachings have only proven inadequate! And for almost four of those weeks I didn't even talk to you two! If the order I swore to and have been raised in since I was three, can lead me so astray, what happens to the less secure children. Do we condemn hundreds just because some of us have slightly clearer minds?"

"What exactly do you wish to do about it?"

"I'm leaving. If you'll allow me to come with you, I will, but I'm not staying. The more I think, the angrier I become. I missed out on friends, hobbies, the chance for lovers, even the option for children for 3 decades only for all of those teaching proving to be sub-par at best!"

"You are more than welcome to come with us, but I'd think harder on it. We've spent enough time here, let's explore the temples for a while, then we can return to orbit. That will give you a bit more time to think."

'Please. Please, for the love of the force, leave.'
