Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Partition Major Troop Training Camp, Dantooine)~~~

We exit Major Riley's personal quarters, and the troops at this training base seem to have all their attention on us. There is hate, fear, anger, pain. Everything like that would make someone a Sith if only they were sensitive to The Force.

The same Corporal from early is standing near the entrance and around our speeder bikes. His arms are folded, and his gaze is locked on me. I can see in his mind and know what he feels. He wanted to set traps on the speeder bikes.

But he knows better than to try to do something like that against a person of my power. I commend his wisdom and self-preservation. It's rare to come across such strong instincts and critical thinking in the galaxy anymore.

"You should know there are hundreds of Twi'leks in this world that know who you are and know that you're here. I may not be able to do anything to you while you're here. But my people won't be so tied up."

His words echo truth. I sense it. All the Twi'leks on Dantooine know I'm here, and I can sense some of them are already starting to hunt.

"I wouldn't expect anything less from an embittered people."

He scowls at me far worse than anything he's sent my way previously. I step toward my speeder bike and hop on. Nella does the same and takes off in the direction of the coordinates. She doesn't want to deal with this.

The Corporal stares into my eyes. I sense many things, but one is lacking from early. Fear. His fear of me is gone; only revenge for his wife and sister's death remains.

"If you're not careful, you could lose more now than you ever did on Ryloth."

The impact of my words is shown as his eyes slowly widen, and fear swarms him. He nearly draws his weapon, but he stops himself. I power up my speeder bike, and I take off after Nella. Getting away from these settlements is a good idea.

After a few minutes, I catch up with her, and we ride side by side. She's nervous about hunting two different people. I've not taught her how to fight a Mandalorian yet. They're different than Sith.

They are dangerous in their own right.

~~~(POV: Captain Wendy)~~~
~~~(Location: Tessare Village, Dantooine)~~~

"Shit."

"Shit. Shit. Shit."

This is bad.

"I'm not gonna hold out much longer if this keeps up..."

It's been a long time since I was hurt this bad. That damn bounty hunter got a good shot in. If it weren't for my armor, I'd be dead. There is a lot I'd do for The Republic, but coming after my AWOL sister isn't one of the things I'd do.

However, orders are orders. I'd have been court marshaled if I refused. They said I'm the best one to bring her back. Given that we're family and all. After our brother died, she changed.

"You can't hide in this fark of a town much longer, Captain. Why not come out, and I'll spare these villagers."

Mandalorians are no different than Sith. Only they lack powers in The Force. I don't know how I'm getting out of this, but I've got to do something to save these people.

He'll kill everyone till he finds me.

~~~(POV: Nella Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Outside Tessare Village, Dantooine)~~~

Nate gets off his speeder bike before I get off mine, and he starts walking into the town. I quickly get off and start following him. As we make our way through the small village, the corpses of innocent lay on the ground.

"Who would slaughter defenseless villagers like this..."

It turns my stomach knowing that this has happened all over the galaxy... Nate is responsible for a planet full of people like this that suffered...

"A bounty hunter stops at nothing to get their targets. You can always count on bounty hunters to leave a pile of bodies where they've been."

The Sith Empire employs people like this on a daily basis. I don't know how anyone could willingly side with them. It's outrageous.

"I can feel your anger, Nella. Never let it control you. Breathe, and focus."

Easier said than done, Nate.
