______________
Angus Metroville, 2015
In a small duplex house in Angus Metroville, a 15-year-old teenager can be seen sleeping soundly on his bed. He had a Caucasian skin tone and black hair.
Beep!! Beep!! Beep!
The alarm clock on the bedside table blares loudly, filling the room with its annoying tune, as a bright ray of sunlight pierced through the window and calmly fell onto the face of the teenager.
"Uhh... W-What's that sound!?" The teenager mumbled in a soft voice as he groggily opened his eyes. Blinded by the morning sun coming to the window, he covers his eyes and sits up.
Looking around the room, the teenager realized that this room was not his.
Everything around him was rather familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. In front of him, the wall was decorated by posters of iconic superheroes from Pixar and DreamWorks movies. Portraits of Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone, and Gazerbeam were among the posters.
But what stood out the most among the posters was that one poster, which was bigger than the rest. The picture in it was of Metro Man in his white suit, his cape fluttering in the air as he wore an arrogant and charismatic smile.
"What the hell!" While looking at the poster in front of him, he mumbled with a bewildered expression on his face.
Knock!! Knock!! Knock!
It was at this moment that a few knocks were heard from the other side of the bedroom door.
"Ace, come down and eat your breakfast; you still have to go to school," a feminine voice said from outside the bedroom door.
"Alright, I'll be coming in a minute, mom!" Ace, or the person that is now Ace, replied unconsciously; he felt like he had no control over his voice at the moment.
"Ok, hurry up then." The feminine voice was heard once more before it was followed by a series of steps leading away from the room.
"Did I call her mom? What the hell is going on!" Ace said in disbelief. He's still confused about what's happening to him right now.
'Well, nevermind. First things first, I have to find where I am! ' Ace thought to himself as he shook his head.
Ace then made his way to the bathroom and locked himself inside. Turning on the lights, he looked at the mirror, and his black eyes widened.
His face shivered as he froze.
A face with night-like black eyes, dark hair, and clear, healthy skin looked back at him.
"Who the fuck is this? Why is he much more handsome than me?" he exclaimed.
He was so surprised beyond words that he waved to himself in the mirror and took other odd actions to make sure this wasn't a fake.
'Is this me!? Is this a dream, or am I just fucking high right now? "He thought as he pinched himself as any other sane dude who'd do in this situation.
"Ouch! Okay, that hurt. I'm totally not dreaming.
"But how am I still alive?" Ace asked.
Just a few seconds ago, he was alone on the street when a huge truck appeared out of nowhere and started hurtling toward him. Two blinding orbs of light from its headlights illuminated his figure.
The screech of tires on the asphalt was the last sound he heard before he was sent flying in the air after getting hit by the truck. and he eventually died.
"Did I transmigrate or something?" Ace asked.
It was at this moment that Ace experienced a piercing headache that spread quickly through his consciousness.
Ace nearly passed out from the pain he was currently experiencing and couldn't help but clench his teeth and hold his head.
Ten minutes have passed since the splitting headache first arrived. And as time passed, Ace's mind became increasingly clouded with weird memories.
Names, places, things, and events that weren't even part of his life were being imparted in his brain.
As he recalled the memories in his head, the puzzles suddenly clicked in together. "I... have been reborn," he muttered under his confusion. His mind felt blank, stupid, and funny, yet at the same time, excited, exhilarated, and... confused.
Ace lifted his head, and after taking a few minutes to calm his racing heart, he made his way toward the bathroom sink, slowly turned on the faucet, and began washing his face.
Pshh~
'This is cool and unbelievable, but for now, I still need to know what world I am in right now," Ace thought.
Even though the memories were assimilated with him, only the most important aspects of Ace's life were included.
After washing his face, he looked at himself in the mirror.
He has a 5'6 height, his face was a bit handsome, and his hair was parted in 3-6 parted curls.
"This look is even more handsome than what I used to look like in my previous life.... it's so unfair."
"Haah... at least now it is my face" Ace laughed at himself and he began brushing his teeth as he started to to also take a shower.
Ace left the bathroom and made his way to the bedroom and then wear his school clothing.
"Not bad" Ace said as he looked at himself in the mirror.
