The Imperium academy for gifted 2

A few weeks after Lucifer left, Dea and Ivy also started getting ready to leave for the Academy. The entrance exams were going to start in 2 weeks, and Dea had to arrive at the Academy at least a week before that, so they were leaving tomorrow. 

In the evening, Shiloh came to see Dea.

"You are leaving for the academy tomorrow?" Asked Shiloh.

"Yeah. Don't worry, I will be coming back often." Said Dea, seeing his reluctant eyes.

"I will go with you."

"You are injured. That's not the best environment for recovery."

"I've recovered enough, now place does not matter anymore. We can buy or rent a place outside the academy, and I can live there. We can register as adventurers or join your sister's party. I heard that they have already formed one, and it's a must from the academy. You will have to form a party anyway." Shiloh persuaded while his foxy-cat-like ears dropped. He resembled an abandoned dog left in the rain.

'Hmm. Indeed, he recovered enough to fight purple-level practitioners, and place does not matter much, but my gut feeling has been bugging me too much. Ahh, whatever, he looks too cute with his droopy ears, he will be safer with me anyways, and I can just leave Caelum with him.'

"Okay. But… you will have to behave and listen to me. Don't create any unnecessary trouble."

"Hm. Hm. I will listen to you." Said Shiloh with excitement and sparkly eyes.

'Aww, how cute. Damn, this is waking up my sadistic side.' Thought Dea.

So, the next day, Shiloh, Dea, Ivy, and Caelum left for the Imperium Academy. Solis stayed back Since she still had things to take care of.

The academy was located in the city called "Rosewood". It was a pretty large city since the number one Academy on the whole continent was located there. Including "The imperium academy", the Zodiac continent had 9 academies in total that had ranking games called Olympics once every 4 years. The current academy ranking was such. 

1st – The imperium academy for gifted

2nd – 1st all-girls academy

3rd – Academy of the free spirits

4th – 1st all-boys academy

5th – Academy of the six great arts 

6th – Moon's Academy of gifted

7th – Palest Academy of Warriors 

8th – All Military Academy

9th – Future Royalty Leaders School

  Imperium Academy was the oldest, and strongest. It's so old that no one knows for sure who first founded it. The reason why it's so popular is not only because it's old but because of the mysteries it hides, as well as the fact that everyone who finishes the Academy is a very successful person. The academy has entrance exams every year at the beginning of the winter and takes in the exact number of 100 students plus the S class for this with a quota, just like Dea. There are five classes in total. D, C, B, A, and S. Applicant's age must not exceed 25 as they are deemed to have passed the golden age. Each student has to study there for 4 years but can ask to pass exams in advance at the end of each year. 

  D class was counted to be the worst, while S class was the best. The students there had more rights and more freedom, moreover, they had the right to make their own schedule and live outside the academy, but everyone knew that at any moment you can be a student of the S class, and the next moment, the D class. Students had the right to challenge each other. Each student had the right to challenge 1 person a month, and each student could be challenged 3 times a month.

  But monthly challenges were not the only exciting event. There was a yearly competition, for which participation was not up to the choice. Every student had to be in it or leave the Academy. This competition did not have restrictions on taking life like a monthly challenge.

  In the annual competition, students were allowed to kill each other. The winner of the competition would receive the title of "Imperia". They had the right to go into the Academy's tower and pick any treasure they wanted as long as they could get it. Some say that on the last floor of the tower was the treasure left by the founder, a book called "Imperium" no one knew what it was or if it really existed, but nobody has been to the last floor so, nobody could confirm.

  This was not the only gift they received, but it was the most sought-after.

  Imperium Academy was no place for the weak, as it worked on the most basic rule of the jungle. "Kill or be killed, eat or be eaten."

  As Dea remembered what kind of place the academy was, she could not help but be excited.

'Ahh, I can't wait. Things are really going to be fun from now on.'

Unknown residence, dark room,

"That academy is going to start receiving students. I need you to go undercover as a new student there. Your next target is the new student. Everything you need to know about her is in this memory stone as well as your exact assignment." Said the man. He was sitting behind the desk as he put down the white stone. His face was not visible as it was covered by the darkness.

  The young man in front of him picked up the stone, he had dark blue almost black hair and beautiful purple eyes, and they glowed coldly as he said "Yes".

"Go now, and remember, don't disappoint me."

  The man nodded as he disappeared from the room, and the night went to scary quietness once again.
