He was able to stand, the bruises he had weren't anything serious and he was not bleeding anywhere.

She helped him stand steadily and gave him a hand to reach the grass so he could take a rest there.

There were no benches nearby, just the freeway and the road they cycled on. Next to it was the grass that got longer until it reached the lake.

Recalling the old days like this makes me think about some other things - and all of the other things are tied to him somehow. A lot of the memories I've made always got him in it, either we are texting each other at that time or we are together.

Zachary... is such a cutie although he doesn't seem like it, he's always so nice and kind. What we have feels very special. It's funny even, sometimes he would tell me about what others that have texted him and ask me for advice, it could be about what to reply or do in that kind of situation. I've started doing the same thing. It feels just about right to ask him about stuff and see his opinion. Sometimes, are our opinions about the subject very different and we go back and forth reasoning, arguing about who is correct. But none of the times that we have argued, have we fought and that's the best part of it all, because none of us gets mad. It all together is fun and enjoyable, we almost argue to win and that's very childish, I guess.

He's that one person who sticks out for me. Sometimes I even feel like he's the only one who actually looks out for me too. I know there're other people who love and care for me but I see him differently.

I hope we'd always stay good friends like this, even if that means we won't take it to the next step, because our friendship is everything at the moment. That's the one thing you don't want to end. For that reason I will not risk it.

I'll try talking to him the next time we see each other. I'm rather nervous when thinking about how I'll do it but I'm looking forward to it. I feel like it's been some time since we've seen each other (2-3 days at the very most).

10 minutes have past. She stood up and walked towards the bike to fix it. She lifted it up and put the stand down and walked back to Zachary. She opened her backpack that was laying on the grass. Took out he water bottle and pressed on it with the cap towards the bike. By using the water bottle as a spray she managed to wash the blood off of the tires. The smell of blood is strong up close...

Zachary was behind her "Thanks, I really freaked out when I saw that squirrel on the road" he says as he nodded towards it. "I tried turning around but the distance between us were too close. I accidentally drove on top of it and saw how its flesh spouted on the ground and I had hit or rather smashed it under my bike." He shivered. He put his hands on his mouth then closed his eyes. The thought of that squirrel preoccupied him.

It was late spring. The sparkling dew lit up the grassy plains like a colony of fireflies. The sun sets on the lake and its color is reflected, looked truly magical. The sound of the birds, the blooming meadow flushed with orange, pink, and purple wildflowers and the feeling of life. Breathtaking.

Now, they were both ready and continued their road to the pick-nick place, cycling side to side, slowly, next to the spectacular view, admiring it along the way as they chatted happily together.

I went to the usual meeting spot. It's where both our roads cross and that's where we'd usually meet up to go to school.

We do go to different classes but we would still hangout in lunch time and see each other to have small talks in the breaks. Then when school ends we would go home together.

None of us is very caught up in school or have a very big interest in studying and therefore, do our schedules pretty much match.

But he wasn't there this time, today out of all days, is Zachary not here. I waited for a couple minutes and went on afterwards. Maybe he is late, it's not unusual since it is him - I'll wait a little bit in front if the gates too just in case.

The words for each chapter will not be any less than 500 from now on (most likely between 600-900).
