Chapter 12: City underground
With everything said and done. An agreement was formed between Max, and Davis.
It was decided that Davis wouldn't hold Max prisoner, and Max would be allowed to call his Family whenever it felt like it.
Another deal that was made between the two was that Max was to immediatly form a contract with a demon. It was the only way of knowing that Max was being serious.
Max would also help in getting rid of PRIMA's ships that were headed towards Kepler-452B.
Right now the two were headed towards the lab where CROSS had been holding the Demon.

The elevator had decended again. Davis, Max and Bella were all headed down back to the gray dome.
"I didn't think i would be returning back here" Max said
"Heh, i knew you'd try running again." Davis smirked
"Well, atleast he's not stupid" Bella added "He listened to us and agreed"
Being called stupid did offend Max but he decided to keep shut.
The platform came to a stop and everyone got off. Davis started heading towards the direction of the northen door.
"Hey, kid watch this." Davis said as he swaggered towards the door
"Lemme in" he said, in the exact manner he said it 4 years ago when he was with Max.
The guards immediatly responded by shouting "YES SIR, VICE GENERAL DAVIS, SIR!" And stepped to the side. No scans were done and Davis was allowed to enter.
"Show off" Bella remarked
Hearing this made Max let out a little giggle, The term show off perfectly fit Davis's character.
"Eh, so the kid can laugh too huh?"
"Well, if you're nice with me ill be nice with you" Max responded
Inside the door was completely different. It wasn't like the white hallway at all. There was no hallway the door led into a massive dome where various buildings could be seen. There was an entire underground.
"Welcome to CROSS" Davis said opening his arms like one would do when welcoming someone into their home.
"People live down here?" Max was shocked he never expected people to live unground for an organization like like CROSS
"Yes, mostly people who work with the CROSS in one way or another. These aren't just soilders you know." Bella being Bella answered the question just as Max had finished his question.
"Before we go make the deal lets go and get you some new clothes shall we?" Davis offered
"I'd like that, i don't really feel comfortable walking around like this. People are giving me weird looks" Max accepted his offers.
The underground dome was basically like a normal city. With buildings streets and shops.
"How many people live here?" Max asked
"Around 35 thousand" bella gave her ususal automated response
'Damn, thats a lot' Max thought
They kept walking until they finally arived at a clothing store named "Kyles Clothes"
Following Davis's lead both Max and Bella entered the store and were greeted by a gentle smile and wave by the Manager
"Hello there Davis! What brings you here today"
The manager sounded like him and Davis were old buddies
"Nothing much, kyle. Just looking for some clothes, for Omega here" Davis said while patting omega on the back.
Upon hearing Max's code name kyle looked at Max for a good minute before saying.
"Uh, ye-yes right this way sir" He spoke addressing Max
Kyle quickly took max over to the formal clothing section. And picked out a few tuxedos for him.
"That might be a bit hard for him to wear" Davis said while pointing at Max's massive arm cast.
"Oh, right how silly of me!" Kyle expressed. He seemed scared after learning Max's code name
Max wasn't stupid and could almost instantly tell that kyle was being scared of him.
"You don't need to be scared of me you know" Max spoke softly trying not to startle Kyle who was now sweating
"Don't worry kyle, Omega isn't like sigma" Davis assured Kyle
Kyle on the other hand didn't buy it and was still scared Max.
Shortly after that Kyle picked out a loose white shirt and a pair of trousers for max which he quickly put on.
Davis paid for his clothes they continued moving forward.
"Where exactly is this lab?" Max asked. Although he didn't show it Max was scared. Very scared. He knew that God would never forgive him for what he was about to do but he had no choice
"The Lab located deeper underground, we can't risk the demon escaping" Bella responded
"Just how deep does this place go?" Max voiced his thoughts
"Around 7 Kilometers deep" Davis responded
After a short walk they had arrived at the tallest building, It was also the most heavily guarded building
"This is where a few high ranking CROSS members live, that inculdes Alpha, Gamma, Sigma, Delta, and you'll live here too, Omega" Bella informed Max
The building was massive it was easily over a kilometer tall.
"Just what do you have in there?" Max wondered
"Kid, Blues are treated like celebrites here. That building has everything from state of the art exercising facilities to a pub" Davis stated
They walked right into the building, with Davis, the vice general around no one would dare ask him for their Badge or Code names
The main hall of the building was more like a luxary mansion and at the center of it all was an elevator.
They all quickly entered the elevator. It was made an odd Purple metal which covered the inside and a feminine voice spoke.
"Greetings Vice General Davis, Which floor would you like to go to?" The A.I's voice was soft and extremely polite, it was the complete opposite of HUE's voice
The A.I's voice is so soft" Max said
"Why thank you, hehe, Sorry to dissapoint but im an actual person, my name is Corteney." The voice flirtatiously giggled
Max's cheeks turned red with embarrassement not only had he mistaken a women for a Robot but the way she responded also made him quite embarrassed.
"Heh shy guy eh?" Davis taunted max while violently patting his back
Davis's taunt made Max blush even more.
"Quit it Davis'' Bella spoke up
