As Brook was observing the Navy warship in front of him, one of his crew members who was tasked with scouting the surroundings started to shout.

"There are four more navy ships behind us along with the one in the front, we have been surrounded." As Brook heard this he, decided to check it out himself.

As he observed there were indeed four ships, divided in a pair of two about to surround him in a triangle formation.

Looking at this, he knew things didn't go according to the original plan, now it wasn't that unexpected.

When he was at water seven, he deliberately mentioned Pluton to Tom despite knowing that Tom was under the watch of the government because he wanted some CP agents to come after him. After defeating one of them, who had the ability of Seimei Kikan, he would use it in the future to bring Ryuma's body to peak stage by putting the shadow of a CP agent in the future.

By going this route, he could clash with the navy and the government instead of Mihawk and pretend to be injured.

It was his backup plan if Mihawk did not come to battle against him.

But damn, did it have to be Kizaru, if it were the other two admirals then he could engage in a fearsome battle as he had some resistance to heat and cold.

If things go south, he would just abandon everything using Geppo. But damn! Borsalino was a complete counter to him in aerial battle as well as his ability.

As he observed, the navy battleships were slowly surrounding them.

As the ships were encroaching on them from three sides, Brook quickly used observation haki to figure out the strength of every person in the enemy ships, the single ship coming from the front was Kizaru.

The ship coming from behind him was led by some unknown but decently powerful marines.

After checking everything out he decided to order the crew to charge towards the two marine ships with the weakest power.

As he ordered the crew to focus their attention on breaking through the weak side of the enemy.

Kizaru slowly raised his finger in the direction of the ship, and a bright yellow light started glowing at his fingertips.

Noticing the bright light, the crew members turned their heads in the direction of it.

As all attention was focused on Kizaru, a yellow beam of laser flew towards the ship.

Brook, Who was holding a great sword as well as an unsheathed sword in his waste looked at the attack and jumped towards it while holding his sword defensively. As the beam made a connection sword.

'BOOM'

There was a huge explosion, the explosion erupted in dazzling bright light, and a massive shock wave passed through knocking out the weaker pirates in the crew.

The Overlord pirates, who were preparing to exchange cannon fire with the enemy stopped momentarily as all eyes stared at the site of the explosion.

With a look of utter disbelief and horror on their faces.
