Fade's p.o.v. (backed up to Black Star kidnapping)
Black Star set me down on one of the beds in the guest bedrooms and climbed on top of me. "Oh um...Hi Black Star, good morning..." I looked up at him. He kissed my brother....
"Morning sweetie!" He smiled at me and hugged me.
"Why did you kiss my brother?"
"Because it was early in the morning and he looked like you." He kissed me deeply before I could protest.
"Well...um I guess that's a good excuse." I pushed up on his chest. Then I remembered I am handcuffed to him. DAMN IT.
"Hey...not so fast Fade." He grabbed my hand and brought it up to his face and rested his head against it.
"Are you sick or something....wait are you going to bite it next because I seen it in this creepy vampire movie where this guy named James bites this girl named Bella on the wrist."
"Want me too?" He smirked.
"NO!" I blushed.
"You sure? It sounds fun."
"Yes I am sure!"
"Hey.....what a coincidence....we have our own little physco named James. He tried to torture Noire. When are you two going to go into the dungeon and take his soul anyways?" Black Star got off of me and laid down next to me.
"When we get back from France."
"He's going to be Noire's third soul huh? Well good for him."
"Good for him?"
"Yeah, Noire's gonna eat him."
"I know that...Where is the key?"
"Somewhere."
"Probably with you."
"Probably."
"I wouldn't doubt it that is what Noire and I was talking about before we got interrupted by hearing what Kid and you was talking about..."
"Wait." He put a finger over my lips and I heard a door slam and some yelling.
"Hmm?" I got up quickly but was yanked backwards onto Black Star.
"I think we should stay in here. There trouble in paradise for Kid from the sounds of it."
"Oh.." I bit my bottom lip. "It's all your fault."
"Yeah, so lets stay in here." He looked nervous. "She sounds pissed."
"Oh really!"
"Yeah, I just heard a second door slam."
"Say goodbye to Kino."
"Bye bye Kino and HELLO BLADE. Naw....I'm kidding. I'll worry about Kino later." I looked confused... He was kidding about the kino part but not Blade...that cant be good.
"Oh ummm...." I looked around for something to use against him.
"Do you think Kino is gonna survive Fade?" Black Star looked at me.
"Sure, those two are like Romeo and Juliet but without the dying part."
"I would hope not. I like those two." Black Star sighed. "I hope she comes around otherwise I'm screwed."
"Your screwed, how?"
"Because I accidentally mistook your brother for you and kissed him which is what that fight is about from the sound of it."
"Oh..." I looked at the bruise on his head from last night and giggled. "Ouch. Let me guess, I did that right?"
"Dunno, maybe Kid accidentally practiced Shinigami Chop in his sleep and hit me."
"Makes since." I giggled and touched it. "Does it hurt?"
"OW! STOP THAT!" Black Star grabbed my hand and put it in his mouth lightly biting it.
"HEY STOP IT YOU LITTLE VAMPIRE!" I giggled and pulled away.
"I'm one hurt little vampire." He muttered rubbing his head.
"Well that's all your fault."
"HOW'S IT MY FAULT?"
"You was in the line of fire."
"What line of fire? I don't see one."
"Its a metaphor stupid."
"No seriously, I can't hear them anymore."
"SHE'S GONE." I heard Lord Death say to Kid from where mine and Noire's bedroom was.
"Oh...Your right."
"Oh shit....I'm going to die aren't I?" Black Star grabbed a pillow and put it on his face.
"No your not, come on I will take you out and we can go do something fun together today...Oh I know! Let's go to the beach."
"Ok" Black Star sat up and unhandcuffed us. I looked at the door.
"We should wait to go in my room after Kid walks out of it."
"Yeah....Ninja mode our butts in there later."
"How about breakfast?"
"I know...." Black Star went to the window and opened it. "Let's go to a really awesome diner and get breakfast then come back for beach stuff."
"I am not jumping out another window with you again even though the plan sounds awesome like you."
"OH MY GOSH! THANKS FADE!" He hugged me then picked me up and jumped out the window and landed on his feet then set me down.
"Oh uh...My bad I got the say wrong your not awesome your an idiotic dare devil amazing Black Star with a the somewhere in there." I looked up towards the window and dropped to my knees. "GOSH THATS A LONG WAYS UP!"
"Come on. I'll treat you to breakfast." Black Star held out his hand to me.
"Okay but I cant really walk right now my body is in shock from the height difference, mind carrying me?"
"Not at all." He smirked and picked me up bridal style then took me to his motorcycle in the driveway and set me on it.
"Hey I thought I told you I wasn't going to jump out another window with you, wow guys really don't listen do they?"
"No I listened. I just chose to ignore you because I don't want to see Kid right now.....or your dad." Black Star climbed on and started it up taking me to a diner.
"Thanks for not being your usual lock-Fade-up-in-a-room-all-day self."
"Trying to be nicer to you so you'll like me too."
"It's already bad enough I felt empty the other night when you gave me that freedom, it was a weird feeling....Which brings be to ask, what are you doing? Training me to be your girl or something like a dog?"
"Wait, Noire's not enough anymore? Don't worry I won't tell her but I'll tell Kid if Kino survives. No, I am not training you. I didn't even know you were starting to feel that way."
"Thought I already told you I fallen- nope guess not. Shhhhh...Don't tell him."
"AW, YOU'VE FALLEN FOR ME?" He looked at me over his shoulder then back at the road.
"Nope, I don't know what your talking about."
"DAMN IT! I WAS SO CLOSE!" I giggled and hid my face against his back.
"Yeah..."
"At least your adorable and don't reject me completely."
"I reject you." I smirked wondering what he would do now.
"Aw, now that's just plain mean."
"Not going to pull over? Wow...who are you and what have you done to my Black Star?"
"No, I'm thinking about pulling over but I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it. See, food on one hand, or chase girl while hungry on the other."
"Fine we can play the chase game after we eat."
"Sounds cool with me." Black Star shrugged.
"I am telling you sir, give me Black Star back your scaring me."
"Wanna turn around, head to my apartment, chain you to the bed, and wait for me to eat breakfast?"
"That's no fair, I wouldn't get breakfast."
"No, this isn't fair." He turned around and started heading towards his house. "Eating right in front of you."
"BLACK STAR DONT FOOL AROUND WITH ME THIS ISNT FUNNY! YOU DONT WANT TO SEE ME WHEN I AM HUNGRY, IT ISNT PRETTY."
"Eh. Not worried." Black Star shrugged me off. "I'll feed you soon."
"Eweeee....." I stared him down. "That is just so unimaginable."
"If you are going down that dirty path then shall I join you?"
"Will I get grapes?"
"Ai yi yi. You'll get a bowl of Lucky Charms." Black Star muttered.
"I hope their as lucky as it says on the box..."
"They only work in my favor because as soon as you are done eating, it's to the bed with you."
"I think I will eat the whole box then slowly."
"How does Noire put up with this?"
"What?" I smacked his back. "Meanie."
"YOU'LL SLEEP WITH HER BUT NOT ME. Double standard."
"She is my weapon and best friend, of course I will choose her over you any day because all you do is give me empty threats most the time."
"Some are not as empty as they may seem to you." He muttered as he came to a stop outside of his house.
"See ya!" I got off and took off running down the road. Black Star picked me up from behind and toted me inside his house and set me down at a table putting a bowl of Lucky Charms in front of me and handed me a spoon. "Wait a minute...I don't want lucky charms that don't work."
"They do too. OH MY GOSH YOU DIRTY CHILD." Black Star backed up. "You thought I was talking about something else weren't you?!?"
"What.." I looked innocent and then started eating. "I hope they do work."
"Uh huh....I'm keeping an eye on you."
"I have to go to the bathroom after this just for a heads up."
"No you don't. You just want to use the window."
"But I really need to pee, I forgot to this morning when I woke up because I was chained to Noire..."
"Fine. Just promise you won't use the window."
"Why would I use the window to pee out of?"
"I don't know. Why would you?"
"I wouldn't know that's why I asked you."
"Just eat your cereal so I can catch you jumping out the bathroom window."
"Mkay." I giggled and ate the lucky charms and when I finished I stood up handing him the bowl. "Be back sooner or later."
"Ok sweetie....see you in.....2 minutes." Black Star started washing the bowl. I went to the bathroom and opened up the window making sure to make it obvious by making enough noise then I waited a minute and walked out the bathroom and into Black Star's bedroom. Black Star was passed out on his bed curled up in the sheets.
"Wow...He really is smart." I kept walking over to the door and opened it quietly. Black Star's ear twitched and I got the feeling he knew what I was doing and was laughing at me silently. I walked out slowly and shut the door behind me. Black Star appeared right in front of me.
"So....done going potty?" I opened the door and looked in towards the bed curiosly. "Oh....I used ninja mode on the window and snuck back into the house when you were busy sneaking out of my room."
"Wh-what?!?" I looked at him. "You are just tooooooo good at this for your own good."
"Yeah....it evens the playing field." He smirked and backed me up into his room. "Now I believe you said I had a lot of empty threats? How about I fill some of them?"
"Uh, did I say empty? No no no, I said....I don't know let me go google some come backs for that one real quick."
"Nope. I'm too busy not letting you do anything else." He pushed me onto his bed and climbed on top of me taking his shirt off and dropped it on the floor.
"I really hope this one is another empty threat as well."
"Oh it's not."
"What's this punishment going to be?"
"Well, I'm not cruel so...how about we get a little bit more comfortable?"
"Don't you even think about it." I gripped the bottom of my shirt quickly.
"Too late."
"Your too late."
"I'm never too late."
"W-...You know what! You are now."
"Nuh uh." He grabbed me. "You asked for it when you said empty threats."
"You mistake me for someone else."
"What? Noire to Kid? Yeah, I know she says that to him too. However, I know I wasn't hearing things."
"You was on a motorcycle, heck actually this is all just a dream."
"Pinch me then."
"Pinch yourself, or better yet I will kick you in the beat spot of all!"
"Oh now you've done it." Black Star pulled out a pair of handcuffs and chained me to his bed then tied my feet up and sat down on his bed by me indian style. "I believe I still have a box around here somewhere."
"You...wouldn't dare." He looked at me.
"No, I'm completely serious."
"Your really creepy like that.."
"You started it." He got up and went to his dresser and pulled out that special little box.
"BLACK STAR DONT YOU DARE, COME ON NOW PUT IT UP!"
"I thought you wanted it." He smirked at me and opened the box pulling one out and looked at it.
"When I want it you will know now put it up."
"But I've already got this one out. I should use it." My eyes widened.
"I don't want to play sub dom with you, put it up before the universe blows up in flames or something."
"The universe isn't going to blow up into flames if I do decide to just give it to you earlier than I expected I would."
"How about you uncuff me and we talk about this as young adults."
"We are talking about it. Go ahead and say your piece so I can deny it."
"My piece? What do you mean...Hmmmm oh yeah. I don't think we are ready for it..."
"Yup...totally denying it. See? Not so empty now are they?"
"I think I have to pee now, uncuff me you've had your fun you have scared me into having to pee now let me go."
"I will in about....30 minutes?"
"Oh...minute man."
"Oh!" He set the box down. "Want to play for 2 hours then?"
"NO!"
"That's what I thought."
"I reallllllllly have to pee now."
"Pfft. I'm just messing with you." He put it all up in his dresser and climbed into bed with me.
"Oh ok...See empty threats."
"Won't be empty if you keep pushing it."
"Why don't you let me go, the chase is what makes the game better."
"The chase has already happened and now I get my reward."
"You are so nice, amazing to, let me go?"
"When I'm done."
"Let me guess, your going to fall asleep on me?"
"No, I'm going to make out with you."
"NOOOOOOOOO NOT A MAKE OUT SESSION!"
"WHAHAHAHAHA!" He climbed onto me and kissed me deeply and slid his tongue into my mouth. I pulled on the handcuffs and gasped trying to get free.
"Come- on.... Black....Star." He kept kissing me and didn't let me go and his hands traveled to my back and gripped the back of my shirt. I tried to slide my knee up to hit him but I couldn't. DARN ROPE! He slid my shirt up a little and titled his head to make the kiss even better. I bit his bottom lip and then looked away quickly. "Don't slide my shirt up."
"Aw, ok." He stopped and brought my face back to look at him and kissed me again cupping my face with his hands. I pulled hard on the cuffs as a reflex and cut myself on the metal making myself bleed.
"Owe!"
"Wha-" He stopped and looked up at the handcuffs. "Stop pulling on it silly."
"I cant help my reflexes."
"Fine." He unlocked it and inspected my wrists. "You'll be fine I think." He went back to kissing me. I grabbed the cuffs from him and quickly cuffed him to the bed and smirked up under him and kissed him softly back. He ignored the handcuffs and put his weight on me more to keep me under him and kissed me deeper. I gasped. Dang it I though I got him. mannnnnnnn. I kissed him back and then pushed up a little on his chest but that's like trying to push up on a cow laying on you, no offence Black Star...I just compared the poor guy to a cow....I hope his ninja skills don't allow him to read minds. I felt his legs tense up as well as he made sure I couldn't go anywhere and he leaned down into the kiss even more pushing my head against his pillow. I blushed a bright red and looked up at him. Is he ok? He pushed me into the bed a little bit more as he kissed me and deepened it into a French kiss. I remembered my poor hands and dropped them as his chest came crashing down on mine and I grabbed a fist of his hair and then gripped his arm with the other. He took a breath and looked at me in wonder.
"You ok?" I bit my bottom lip.
"N-no....."
"Whoa....Maybe you should take a breather for an hour."
"Uh huh....I don't wanna make you do something with that box because I was losing myself....Here." He got off of me the best he could with the way I had handcuffed him. "DAMN IT! I can't even get off of you like this!" He gave up. I giggled and looked around.
"Where'd the key go?" I leaned up and kissed him. He kissed me back gently but then lost it in the kiss again and kissed me deeper. I kissed him back for a few seconds before I looked away and then made my move to slide out from under him. He was breathing a little hard and he stared at me.
"Find the key...."
"No way in hell I am going into your pants pockets until you cool down."
"No, it's on the bed somewhere. I dropped it when I was kissing you." He blushed and looked away.
"Whoops, Oh well. I don't even need the key but you might need it if you want me bad enough, looks like I get my chance to escape!"
"I was gonna let you go! I'm scaring myself so if you uncuff me, I will not chase you unless you really want me to."
"The chase would be better if I got more then two steps away from you."
"I said I would NOT chase you."
"Mhmmm, you definitely wont." I giggled.
"At least help me change my position. I'd rather be on my back then on my stomach."
"Let's admit it Black Star, if you really wanted to get out of that position then you would have done been out mr. ninja."
"Hey....Ninja mode doesn't cover chained-to-the-bed-escape."
"Really...So your not strong enough to break handcuffs or that headboard, interesting."
"No I can. I just like that headboard and I don't want to end up like you Miss Cut Wrists."
"Watch it, I have-" I grabbed the key. "A key and I am not afraid to throw it."
"NOOOO! I SPENT FOREVER FINDING THIS AWESOME HEADBOARD! I LOVE IT TOO MUCH TO BREAK IT!" Black Star pleaded with his eyes. I giggled and threw it across the room. "YOU'RE SO MEAN TO ME!" He started crying.
"Oh...I'm sorry, I will go get it then....If I can somehow get to my feet..." Black Star stood up on his bed the best he could and stepped over me letting me up. I made my way to my feet and untied them then go off the bed and giggled.
"Bu-bye love." I walked over to the key and picked it up. "I am going to the ball....Wait I mean party... I'm not Cinderella...or am I?"
"PLEASE LET ME OUT OF THE HANDCUFFS!" Black Star threw a pillow at me using his feet. I dodged it and went over to him and set the key on the edge of his nightstand and then skipped off out the bedroom door and to the front door and walked out casually. "THANKS SWEETIE! I'LL SEE YOU LATER!" He shouted from the living room. I looked at the door and then took off running away.
"FREEDOM!"
"USE IT WISELY!" He shouted from inside.
Noire's p.o.v.
I was slow dancing with some really cute guy who was actually pretty funny. He said his name was Hero but why would it be that? Is it a stage name or something cool like that? I pretended not to notice Soul freaking out over by the wall. Hero smiled at me. "So Noire?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I see you again soon?"
"Sure. I don't see why not Hero." I giggled and he twirled me around. I thought I saw Soul faint on the other side of the room.
"Awesome." He laughed. I looked around at the other couples dancing and smiled softly.
"Funny thing....I just got out of a relationship but yet I'm already flirting again.....Is that bad?"
"Oh-"
"NOIRE! HEY HERO GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY GIRL." Kid stormed into the room followed by his sidekicks, Kyle, Kyle's team mate Cori.
"HE MEANS BACK OFF OF THE SINGLE LADY AND LET US IN!" Cori yelled. I whipped around.
"I'M NOT YOUR GIRL." I crossed my arms. "Hero, meet my jealous ex."
"Yes I admit I am jealous but an ex as well? Baby I admit I was in the wrong and when I find him I am going to murder him. Seriously though you are being to dramatic you know I love you I am so sorry. I am so terrible! I didn't-" He got on his knees in front of me and took my hands. "I didn't mean to let it happen! I am so sorry I was just so shocked and all! YOU SHOULD KNOW THE FEETING! Baby take me back! I am sooooooooooo so sorry! I was so wrong! I am horrible! I don't know why you would take me back but baby I love you and I will do better because after this I am hunting him down to kill him! KILL HIM! HE WILL NEVER TOUCH ME AGAIN! "Wh-wha.....huh?!? I thought that when I slammed the door on you twice it was very clear." I took my hands back and put them behind my back.
"Nope, I thought that was you just being jealous. I mean mad."
"Your the jealous ex here."
"Baby, I don't want to see you with anyone but me, like....Kino has already been established..."
"Well the shippers better drop it."
"I doubt they will, there is still Fire shippers..." I paled.
"Damn you for reminding me."
"Noire don't break up with me..." I looked at Hero and back at Kid. Damn.....which one?
"Noire! Come on you already had Kid. My turn!" Cori pouted.
"Wait what.....three?" I looked around and noticed that people were watching and Soul was pacing back and forth muttering about something, watching me. "Oh dear....."
"CORI I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU TOUCH MY NOIRE YOUR GOING ON THE LIST RIGHT ABOVE BLACK STAR!" I paled and hugged myself.
"Why can't you three just leave me alone?"
"I need to save Kino, I don't know why the other two have to be dummies and try to get between you and I." My phone went off and I took it out and noticed our flight was going to leave in an hour.
"Well, I found my escape." I sighed in relief then tensed up. Kid is coming to France with us though....
"What..." He went over to the dj booth and picked up a phone and checked the time. "OH! GOOD! No hero OR Cori for three days, good. Come on Noire I'll drive you to the manor." Kid walked over to me and lifted me up into his arms happily. I reached out behind him to Hero pleading with him for help.
"What? Your going away to Noire?" Kyle pouted. "It's going to get boring because that means Fade is going to so no couple dramas will happen that is actually interesting. Damn it."
"Then how about you get me away from my crazy ex?" I asked him. "Anyone?"
"He looks scary...I don't wanna mess with him he might black out."
"He's not that scary." I scoffed. Kid carried me outside and to his car parked in the garage and sat me down in the back seat then climbed into the drivers seat and took off down the road. "I take it back. He's completely scary at this point."
"I don't want to talk right now Noire." He muttered as he started to call someone.
"Who are you calling?" I asked bringing my knees to my chest scared for my life.
"Black Star- Oh hi buddy. So, you coming to France right?" He had a bit of attitude to his voice saying he was clearly pissed. I shrunk down into a little ball in the back and took out my own phone to text someone for help.
Me: HERO! WHY DIDN'T YOU HELP ME?
Hero: Uh... Sorry he was kind of scary as hell! You didn't tell me your ex is Death the Kid....
Me: Does that matter? He's just some really jealous ex.
Hero: I will see you when you come back from France right?
Me: I hope.....a lot can happen in three days....I might be dead by the second day.
Hero: Oh yeah your going on a mission right, good luck!
Me: I'm going to die on the flight.
Hero: Youll be fine, he loves you so he wouldn't kill you...I think.
Me: He's not talking to me.....
Hero: Your dead.
Me: Hey....he shouldn't be so dang jealous.
Hero: He's not only jealous.
Me: What else is he then?
Hero: Well if he broke up with you and it was you know all switched around and you was in his shoes you wouldn't just be jealous now would you?
Me: OMG I'M IN A CAR WITH A MAD MAN?
Hero: Have fun.
Me: You're not very supportive....
My phone was snatched away. "Who ya talking to?" He skimmed through my messages then put up the phone in his pocket. "Guess whos coming to have tea with us metaphorically speaking."
"Um.....your dad? He likes tea right?"
"Nope, guess again."
"I don't know....Maka?"
"I will just tell you, Black Star and boy does he have a surprise waiting for him."
"Poor guy. You should totally spare him." I looked at his pocket to my cell phone.
"Why should I he definitely wont get anything better from the shippers."
"Exactly. Let the shippers tear him apart for you." I reached for my phone. He smacked my hand away.
"Your grounded." He smirked and then pulled up at the manor.
"From?"
"Your phone."
"But that's not cool! I text Kyle, Cori, Soul, Maka, Tsubaki, Liz, Patti, hero....and a few others....."
"I know. That's why you are going to be saying bye to it for a week." He got out and opened the door for me. "Come on." I shook my head.
"Nuh uh....you'll grab me as soon as I make a run for it."
"Don't make a run for it, all we are doing it grabbing the bags I packed while you was out flirting away with another guy." He said it coldly. I winced and got out slowly and watched him closely wondering if I actually could get away. He grabbed me by my upper arm and softly pulled me to the front door and inside and to the bags pilled up in the living room. He picked up over half of them. I sighed and grabbed the others he couldn't and toted them out to his car putting them in the trunk and looked longingly towards the sidewalk wanting to run. He put the rest of the bags in the trunk then took out the phone and called someone. "Hey Liz, meet us at the air port."
"WELL SCREW YOU TOO." I heard screamed on the other end.
"Love you to weapons." He hung up and then called someone else.
"Hey where are you at Black Star said you took off down the road like....thirty minutes ago.....Okay, want to talk to Noire?" He waited then handed the phone to me.
"NOIRE! Did he hurt you?"
"Well....I'm very scared if that counts." I shivered watching Kid.
"Oh ok, Kid is going to come pick me up, don't tick him off he sounds cold."
"Like does running count as a tick him off kind of thing?" I glanced towards the manor.
"Yes, It's ok ill be with you shortly. Do yourself a favor and get in the car before he snaps."
"He caught me texting Hero already...." I took a step towards the car timidly.
"Who's Hero?"
"A really cool guy who is scared of Kid now." I took another step to the car and watched Kid's reaction. He relaxed a bit.
"Oh ok, well that sucks. Wait a minute...Black Star just texted me....WHAT THE HELL HE'S COMING WITH US!"
"Kid wants to murder him." I blurted out.
"Oh good then I can have guys like Thomas and they wont be scared of guys like Black Star."
"Not fair."
"I would go find a Kid for Kid but then I would have to take over DWMA after my dad and I don't want to do that, I just want to stay in bed and eat cookies."
"Alright then." I opened the door to the back seat and climbed in shutting the door behind me.
"Good." Kid whispered and got in and then started driving off.
"So how was your morning I had lucky charms with a side of Black Star's empty threats."
"Um....well.....terrible. Just ter-KID I DIDN'T EAT BREAKFAST YET." I looked at him.
"There is breakfast on our private plane." Fade told me and giggled.
"Well don't take away an excuse for Kid to stop somewhere and let me out."
"If he stops you will have to face being with him alone longer and me not there."
"NEVERMIND KID. So empty threats huh?"
"Yep, poor Black Star cant do anything right, he is lucky I didn't leave him cuffed up to the bed."
"Well that's what I should have done."
"I finally have found a way to handcuff him up." She giggled.
"Hey...are we gonna rescue the poor guy?"
"Oh yeah.... Tell Kid he can't touch Black Star until we defeat the Kishin."
"Hey Kid?" I put a hand over the phone and looked at him.
"Yeah?" He looked up into the mirror at me then back at the road.
"Fade and I both said you can't touch Black Star until after we defeat the Kishin in France."
"Prepare to go to work immediately when we get there."
"Whaaaat? No monkey business? Or shopping? Or eating at a restaurant?" I gasped.
"Sorry babe." He smirked and then pulled over next to Fade and she hung up on me climbing into the car sitting by me.
"I'm not your 'babe'."
"Ok Sweetie."
"I'm not your anything." I crossed my arms and put Kid's phone in my pocket after adding Hero's number to it before I forgot.
"Hand over my phone."
"What? I didn't do that? I thought I did. Check up there Kid." I grabbed Fade's hand.
"Noire, give me my phone you know your grounded from them."
"What's this groundation you speak of? I know no such thing."
"Noire, don't make me come-"
"Your not touching my Noire." Fade stared down Kid and he went back to driving. I passed up the phone to prolong my life however short it may be.
"Good girl."
"YOUR STILL ON MY LIST KID DONT YOU FORGET IT." Fade threatened. I leaned against her.
"Why is breaking up so difficult?"
"It's okay Noire we wont have to see him again after France....Except in school and training...but I can easily change all of that."
"We'll have to see....." I watched Kid. Kid was tensed up obviously trying to keep calm. "Fade? Don't ever be like your brother."
"I am nothing like him."
"Ok....Hey, after France can I go see Hero?"
"Sure!" Fade giggled. I smiled and relaxed a little.
"Cool." Kid turned the radio on and up loud to silence us and we ended up at the air port after a few minutes. I had been singing along to the music after 2 seconds of listening to it after Kid put it on. I think that might have ticked him off a little. OH WELL. Kid popped the trunk and got out getting the bags and Fade tried to get out but when she couldn't she crawled into the front seat and smirked evilly back at me. "Whatcha doing?" I asked tilting my head.
"This is what he deserves." She stopped down on the gas pedal after cranking the car and drove off a few feet away and giggled then waited for him to run over before doing it again.
"I just saw my funeral." I whispered.
"HAHAHAHAAAA KID." She teased him a few more times before parking and got out.
"You gonna let me out?" I asked hopefully. "So I can run for my life?" Kid walked up to her and she giggled giving him the keys and opened the door for me.
"My lady, advice? Run with me to the plane!" She took off running after pushing kid head first into the ground. I ran after her in instinct and glanced behind me at Kid on the ground. He had slowly got to his feet and held his head. I stopped and turned around to watch him worried he got hurt and walked back over to him and grabbed his head and looked at it.
"She said run." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer. "Your gonna get it now." He chuckled and leaned in kissing my neck. I whimpered in fear and trembled. I screwed up. I screwed up big time. DAMN YOU LOVE. DAMN YOU.
"H-Hey Kid...Your not mad are you?" Black Star walked up to us awkwardly and Fade tackled him.
"GUESS WHO HAS NINJA SKILLS NOW!"
"OH NO! I'M GOING TO BE.....WHATEVER THE HECK FADE WANTS WITH ME!" Black Star laughed. I watched them out of the corner of my eye and looked back at Kid. He loosened up and seemed more relaxed.
"Oh good, there is the rest of the crew." He nodded towards Liz pulling up with Patti in the car, Tsubaki was getting off her bike. I took a few steps away from Kid nervously in case. He looked at me before going to the back and stepped over the two laying on the ground and got out his bag and threw Fade a bag then one to me. I caught it like an awesome person and walked to the airplane ditching them all. I'm not getting kissed again. Nope. I'm finding out if Kid randomly/ accidentally packed a pencil in my bag or something.....probably not buuuuut at least I have some fighting skills if something happens. I got on and relaxed on one of the sofas that were bolted to the floor and stretched out. After a few minutes the rest of the team came on board and threw there bags somewhere and Fade sat down by me. Tsubaki looked at me.
"So I heard you broke up with Kid." She crossed her arms.
"Y-yeah...." I glanced at Kid. He was sitting in s corner on a laptop and had headphones on. Fade stood up and yelled through some doors to the pilots.
"We're ready!" The airplane took off soon and I found all the shippers (Tsubaki, Liz, and Patti) whispering amongst themselves and glancing at me and sometimes at Kid. I listened in curious.
"I think I will go sleep in the bed." Fade walked off to the small bed in the back and guess who followed behind, Black Star. She screamed as he closed the door behind them and Kid cracked his knuckles.
"Yeah, operation save Kino is back...again." Liz said softly and giggled and Kid smirked obviously hearing it. He's listening to every word that we say pretending to listen to music. That's so.....mean? No....I'll the word later. I brought my knees to my chest worried and looked at the floor still listening.
"Now why did they break up in the first place?" Tsubaki asked.
"Something about your meister kissed my meister mistaking my meister as her meister."
"What? Him....I will find a way to speed up karma on him then. I'll make him get sick." Tsubaki giggled.
"Awe but that would delay Blade."
"Point.....he's going to cook his own meals for a week then." She nodded.
"I thought the last time he cooked he burnt noodles...Wait no that was Kid." I stood up.
"WAIT. He burnt the noodles we made?" I gasped and sat back down quickly looking away. Kid sunk down in his seat and put his coat over his head pulling his knees to his chest.
"I did not, and if I did, I am so sorry."
"It didn't taste burnt...." I said to myself.
"Okay so it wasn't exactly the last time he cooked noodles." Liz muttered.
"Soooo....can I join ship club again now that I'm no longer a ship?" I looked at them hopefully.
"Your still a ship Noire." Kid busted out laughing.
"Oh yeah? What ship?" I crossed my arms. I dare you.
"Fire."
"I just...my head has exploded." I shook my head and glanced at Kid. He had fell out of his seat from trying to get out from under the coat to look, probably glare at the shippers.
"Fire?" Kid said.
"They are referring to Fade and Noire." I muttered and picked at my jeans.
"Oh." He rolled over looking away and slid the headphones back on trying to get comfy still half in the chair and half in the floor. I looked at Liz, Tsubaki, and Patti.
"Fire can't be a ship if Blade is going on in that room over there." I jerked my thumb at the room Fade had disappeared into.
"That is all your fault." Liz giggled.
"Plus I'm not a lesbian." I looked at the door and then back at the shippers.
"Good." They went back to talking amongst each other. Sighing, I went back to eavesdropping.
"So Liz what should we do, I left my giraffe at home?" Patti asked. I mentally face palmed. Patti.....Kid accidentally gave me the giraffe. I reached into my bag and pulled out Mr. Spots and tossed it to her. "YAY! MR. SPOTS! Thanks Noire!" She held onto him then looked out the window. I smiled and closed my eyes for a minute then went back to eavesdropping.
"Okay, so what should we do this weekend? We should go on a double date! You, me, Dave, and Kyle?" Annnnnd I stopped bored. I looked out the window and went to my bag and grabbed my teddy and giggled laying down on my back and hugged him.
"It's been a while Teddy!" Kid came over to me and laid a blanket over me that was really soft and fuzzy then handed me a pillow and walked off to the corner- now the emo corner and went back to looking at his computer.
"Oh look! Noire has a stuffed animal to Mr. Spots." Patti pointed out. I smiled softly and curled up in the blanket then looked up at Kid. Aw.....he still is paying attention sort of.....poor guy....maybe I could forgive him? Maybe...depends I guess...I still get worried about him like when he hit his head and the tension in the room would go down if I apologized.....I think....Kid looked up and caught me looking at him and I squealed and buried my face in the blanket. He smirked.
"Oh just go get a room you two." Tsubaki said and then pulled Liz and Patti out the room. I paled. You ditched me with jealous ex who is in the emo corner. Damn shippers. They are getting waaaaaay weird. I looked at Kid again and then at Teddy. He stayed in his emo corner and glanced up and around then took off his headphones.
"Where'd the shippers go?"
"They told us to go get a room and left me alone." I looked at him again.
"Hmmm...I wasn't doing anything but surfing the web..."
"Well.....I got caught watching you and that's just about when they left."
"Oh, well now you can get some rest, I wont bug you."
"Ok.....that's a good sign." I stretched out but wasn't feeling tired at all so I played possum for a bit to see if he would keep his word. He eventually shut his laptop and got up getting a blanket and pillow and took the couch across from me and laid down on it curling up into the blanket and had his back to me. I sighed internally and sat up deciding I was done playing possum and I would rather look around openly instead of just pretending to be asleep. I looked around and noticed that Fade's room had gone quiet. Guess they fell asleep....I could hear the girls giggling in another room probably holding a ship meet. They always do this.....all day every day. I stood up and cautiously snuck over to Kid's bag for my phone. He shifted and turned to look at me.
"Whatcha doing?"
"Nothing but walking around." I walked off in a different direction cursing his meister hearing.
"It didn't look like nothing." He muttered and watched my every move.
"What? Checking out what you can't have?" I sat back down on my couch and pulled the blanket to me.
"Oh believe me, I can get it anytime." He chuckled and rolled over onto his back.
"That's what YOU think."
"That's what you say."
"Go back to sleep. You're confusing me."
"You confuse me."
"We confuse each other so go to sleep."
"Why'd you break up with me?" I bit my bottom lip. Du-Because you kissed Black Star. Almost said dunno. *MENTAL FACE PALM*
"Because you kissed Black Star."
"He kissed me."
"You didn't stop him."
"I never said I didn't, you never seen the kiss."
"I HEARD the kiss. Trust me when I say that it is imprinted on my ears."
"You kissed my sister."
"WHEN?!?" I clamped a hand over my mouth. Oh...when I was helping her pose as Kid to hide from Black Star. "That was when I was helping her hide from Black Star. He's scary too."
"Ptf." He rolled over facing me. "I didn't want the kiss you didn't want that kiss so like....I think we are even. It's not Black Stars fault he thought I was Fade, dumb idiot."
"Oh that's it." I stood up and threw Teddy at him pissed.
"Jealous."
"No, mad. You called me a dumb idiot." I threw my pillow at him and then looked away.
"I called Black Star the dumb idiot." He sat up. "What kind of guy do you take me as?"
"The Shinigami kind."
"Your jealous that's what this is all about, now I am taking my stuff and going to the safe side of the room before you jump me and try to kill me with a pencil or something." He grabbed his pillow first. I paled and dropped the pencil I was holding under the blanket.
"How'd you know I had a pencil?" He grabbed his things quickly and ran to his emo corner and curled up in it.
"Creepy jealous ex is out to get me."
"What am I jealous about. You're the jealous one." I muttered and picked up the pencil again putting it back in a drawer.
"Wow, I just found out how I am going to die."
"By pencil?"
"Yep."
"Not for the next...3 minutes."
"I am gonna shut up now."
"Ok!" I smiled cheerfully at him and got up to go get my Teddy and pillow and stopped when I saw Kid's bag again and glanced at him. I really want my phone back..... I watched him to see if he was watching me again. I hope it's on top..... Kid was watching me curiously. I looked at his bag and sighed deciding to wait until he fell asleep to search for it.
"Why are you eyeing my bag like a dog eyes a cat?" Kid joked.
"Who says I wasn't checking out the floor?" I countered and sat down on my couch.
"What do seen on the floor that is so interesting, a bug maybe?"
"Not telling." I played possum again and after about an hour of listening to Kid's breathing for the change to tell me he was sleeping I opened my eyes slowly and sat up looking at him. Kid was passed out in the emo corner. I stood up slowly and quietly tip toed to his bag and looked over my shoulder to make sure his meister hearing wasn't working. I sighed when I saw he was still asleep and I unzipped the top of his bag where he keeps the electronics and searched for my phone. I shook my head when I couldn't find it and zipped it back up not wanting to search with his clothes and stuff. I stood up and crossed my arms. "Where the hell is it then?" I said quietly.
"If your looking for your phone, it's at the car back at the airport along with mine." I whipped around screaming when I heard his voice.
"I THOUGHT YOU WERE ASLEEP." I backed up a little.
"You thought wrong." He got to his feet and then looked out a window.
"Am I in trouble? Again?" I backed up to my couch nervously.
"Your not my girlfriend."
"Oh, so am I ungrounded then?" I smirked.
"No, I could punish you with keeping it for longer if you like."
"No, no one week is enough. Actually three days is enough." I sat down and brought my knees to my chest. "Are you mad about everything that happened today?"
"If I was not mad then I wouldn't be right in the head." He sat down and opened up the laptop. I got up and walked over to him sitting on the ground in front of him.
"So you are mad."
"Yeah you broke up with me over something stupid. Then you went and flirted away with Hero."
"You've got a point. I'd be mad too. I'm mad at myself so oh well."
"Okay Noire." He glanced over at me.
"So....watcha doing anyways?"
"Research, cant kick but until after we defeat the Kishin so I am going to get all the stuff I can about this guy right now."
"Whose butt are you ki- still wanna kick his butt?"
"Hell yes, it is personal he kissed me and I have yet to get him back over it...except for when I stomped down on his belly but that was just a warm up."
"Dude, hand over the rings. You're getting scary and we don't need you going crazed with them on." I held out my hand.
"You know I could just summon them back when I want to right?" He handed them over.
"It makes me feel safer." I put them back on the chain that I keep around my neck.
"Then you will always be safe with them around your neck."
"No, it only works when I feel your about to beat the shit out of someone. Like now!" I smiled at him.
"A promise is a promise."
"You didn't have to promise. I'm not taking them forever." I put my head on his knee.
"What are you doing miss jealous ex?"
"Whoops. Sowwie Kid! It's just a habit." I took my head off of his knee.
"Yeah you better back up I don't want cooties."
"OH YEAH, I forgot to tell you how to get rid of them!"
"How?" I stood up and grabbed his arm pushing his sleeve up.
"Circle, circle, dot, dot, now you have the cootie shot." I drew a circle on his arm and put a dot in the middle as I said it then let go and stretched. "There."
"You are a weird weapon."
"I see little kids do it all the time." I shrugged. "Especially when the cute girl catches the boy on the playgrounds in the park and she smooches him. His friends run away in terror."
"I thought it was boys chasing the girls."
"Not at first in normal schools. When I was going to a normal school, I used to chase a boy or two. Sometimes Adrian who would climb up trees and watch me try to follow him."
"Wow." He laughed and kissed my cheek. "You are special." I lost it and kissed him pushing him onto the couch and threw his laptop into the floor and sat in his lap leaning into him to get a better kiss. He smirked and kissed back and pulled me closet to him and wrapped his arms around me and deepened the kiss. I fought for dominance in the kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck and grabbed the back of his jacket and closed my eyes. He pulled away after a few minutes catching his breath then laid me down on the couch getting on top of me and started kissing me again pulling the bottom of my shirt up a bit. It registered in the back of my mind but I was too lost to actually fully realize it and kissed him back. He pulled my shirt us just below my boob and kept kissing me turning it into a French kiss and fought for control again with me in a tongue battle. I won and sucked on his tongue a little and grabbed the back of his jacket again. He groaned and then backed up a little and then took his jacket off and came back to kissing me. I kissed back leaning up into the kiss and grabbed the bottom of his shirt and pulled it up and over his head and threw it into the floor and kissed him again. He went back to my shirt and started to pull it off me when the door shot open and in walked Patti. He threw the shirt back down and covered me with his jacket. "Hi Patti..."
"OH MY GOD I THINK KINO IS GOING STRONG SHIPPERS!" Patti ran out the room closing the door.
"SO THE NOISE WAS KINO AND NOT BLADE!" Liz asked.
"YEP!"
"Uh..." He backed away and put his shirt back on. "Next time remind me to lock the door." I blushed and looked away.
"Sorry."
"Told you your the jealous one." He grabbed his jacket from me and then sat down on another couch.
"I'm not the only one." I whispered and hid underneath my blanket and hugged Teddy.
"Oh your right." I poked my head out of my blanket.
"Really?"
"Remember when I stormed in and said a huge thing and it was mostly full of sorry but I admitted being jealous."
"Yeah, how could I forget....it was really sweet and it also had a mini proposal in it if you recall."
"You can ignore that part." He slid down in his seat.
"Awwwww is my Kid embarrassed?"
"N-no."
"Well....I forgive you silly head." I giggled and watched him. He got up and walked over to me and sat down by me.
"Are you going to be my beautiful girlfriend again?"
"If you'll take me back." I said quietly.
"I will." He kissed the top of my head. I blushed and met his eyes.
"Sorry Kid....I shouldn't have gotten mad over that idiot."
"I should've thrown him out the window while I had the chance."
"Now that's a little dramatic." I smiled. Then my eyes widened. "Are you still going to beat him up after the Kishin?"
"Yeah, he kissed me and almost caused the fall out of Kino."
"It did fall out for.....how many hours has it been? I can't remember."
"About twelve or so."
"Wow....no wonder I lost it."
"Missed my warmth to much I know baby girl." I narrowed my eyes playfully.
"Oh? Back to that?"
"Yes, yes it is."
"Still a baby?" I crawled into his lap and faced him.
"Yes, got a problem with it?"
"So what are you a big toddler?"
"Your a baby and yes I am a toddler."
"Yeah....you got that two year old tantrum." I smirked.
"I would do a come back but then you might threaten to break up with me." He stuck his tongue out. I grabbed it quickly.
"The next time I break up with you if I do it's going to be for a very VERY good reason and for a very long time." I let go of his tongue.
"Then you best to start picking out our burial ground because your going to be with me for a very VERY long time."
"Is that a hint at something?" I smirked.
"Forshadow baby."
"What are we forshadowing at?" I narrowed my eyes still smirking and busted out laughing.
"If I told you then it wouldn't be a secret anymore."
"It's got to be a secret?"
"Yeah, I will tell you later."
"But I don't like surprises." I whined and squirmed a little.
"Fine it has to do with something that goes on this finger." He pointed at my ring finger. I stared at it.
"A ring? I mean that's my ring finger so..."
"I will give you time to figure it out baby."
"Well I guess that's a better hint than better pick our burial grounds."
"Your so cute."
"Thanks! That's what I try to be!" I smiled at him and hugged him. What is- wait.....Stein and Spirit...Nah.....can't be...Wonder when those two are going to get married and leave me to go on a honeymoon...Then I'll be able to run around Death City with almost no problem. No babysitters either!
"Whatcha thinking about?"
"What it's going to be like when my two gay dads go on honeymoon and I'm free to run around Death City for the most part." I smiled at him.
"Wow, you are thinking about that but cant figure out what I was hinting at..."
"Well, when you said ring finger it made me think about those two. Don't know why."
"I cant spell it out for you.."
"Does it have something similar to do with those two?"
"In a way yes." I stared him thoughtfully for a few seconds and made the connection.
"Aw!" I hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Did you find out?"
"I think I did." I giggled.
"Well don't tell Noire ok, it is supposed to be a surprise." He chuckled. I put a finger on my lips.
"Shhhh."
"Shhhh." He leaned in and kissed my cheek.
"Poor Noire can't know."
"Right." He smirked and then got a blanket and covered us up with it.
"I think I know what she would say.....but you're gonna have to wait until you let her know."
"I know, I cant wait to hear her answer to."
"I bet she'd be so surprised, she'd faint."
"Oh no because then I would have to wait a few minutes to get an answer."
"I'm sure it'd be worth the wait." I leaned against him and rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eye for a few seconds.
"Take a nap Noire, I will wake you up when we reach France."
"You're not going to go anywhere right?" I looked into his eyes.
"I will stay here for as long as wanted."
"Your stuck for a long time then." I laid down and pulled Kid down with me. I shut my eyes smiling and fell asleep next to him.
Fade's p.o.v.
I woke up to hearing the plane land and Black Star snoring in my ear. I turned over to face him and brushed his hair behind his ear and then sat up getting out of the bed. Black Star reached out to me in his sleep. "Hnmmhnnn." He groaned and his outstretched hand came closer to me. I replaced myself with a pillow as I rolled off the bed in a quick motion. He cuddled the pillow in a death grip and rolled over on it, smothering it.
"Hmmm...He looks so familiar." I whispered and then shrugged it off and went to the door and opened it going out to check on everyone. The shippers had left, and Noire was cuddled up next to Kid in her sleep while he laid there playing with her hair. "We made it." I whispered. "I am gonna go adventure, see ya later." I thought it over and watched them. "You guys made up quickly."
"Thanks to Noire losing it." He smirked.
"Well...good for you." I gave a thumbs up and then went over to a window and looked around outside.
"Well, what do you think of France sister?" Kid asked quietly.
"I see why your always frenchy." I giggled and then walked over to the door and opened it. "It is beautiful and smells so amazing." The shippers all tumbled out through one door and stopped when they saw the Kino. Patti had a smug look on her face.
"Told you so." She looked at Liz.
"Wow...this is so great because now we can cancel operation save Kino."'
"I thought operation Kino was leave them in the room alone together." Tsubaki looked confused.
"For the Thompson twins.....it got extensive. We are gonna help Kid with his relationships!"
"Oh okay." Tsubaki looked over at me. "Fade isn't with Black Star, ohhh no Blade is going down hill, red alert!" Tsubaki whispered.
"W-what's going on....." Noire sat up and looked around.
"Oh now you've gone and done it." Kid said. "You've gone and woke the baby up."
"Morning! We just got to France." I smiled. "Now the only one left to wake up is blue head, let's leave him here." Liz shook her head.
"BLACK STAR SHE ESCAPED AGAIN!" She walked over to my door.
"AH!" I took off out the door and down the stairs quickly. When I got to the ground I faceplanted and kissed it. "SWEET BEAUTIFUL GROUND!- WAIT NO TIME FOR THAT!" I got up and took off running. Kid came to the doorway.
"SIS! HE ISN'T WAKING UP! I THINK HE DIED!" Noire appeared behind him and reached over Kid to me.
"Fade! Come on!" I sighed and ran back and up the stairs and to the bedroom where I left Black Star.
"For now on you will address me as doctor who."
"Nope, you either Oni or Fade." Noire said from behind me.
"Fair enough." I poked Black Star on the side. "Wake up."
"No.....five more minutes Tsubaki...I can be late....to school....yahoo....." He turned over on his side away from me.
"I guess you don't want to spend a day in France with me then." I crossed my arms and then sat on him. "Your so unfair."
"Sweetie.....go back to sleep....." he mumbled.
"Okay I didn't want to have to do this but..." I got up on the bed and grabbed a pillow then started hitting him with it. "Wake up!!!!" He sat up and glared at me then snatched the pillow and tossed it then pulled me to him and cuddled me to him and took a deep breath. "Morning sunshine. We are in France."
"Noooo...If Kid defeats the Kishin.....he's gonna come after me next because I broke him and Noire up." He looked at Noire who raised an eyebrow and put her fingers on her lips looking at me.
"Oh, it's okay. You will survive, you are a god remember."
"Yeah and I have my goddess to stay with me. Come on Goddess Divine. Let's go check out France." He stood up but stopped when he saw Kid leaning against the wall.
"Oh, look we have an audience."
"You had one anyways!" Noire pointed to herself.
"True." I blushed. "Well what is the plans for today Kid?" I looked over at him.
"Easy, find the Kishin, get rid of it, and then kill Black Star." He smiled cheerfully.
"Awe, I was just starting to get use to this one though." I patted Black Star's head.
"I still want to kick his butt."
"Kick his butt when I am not round ok?"
"How about this?" Kid pulled out a credit card. "You girls go shopping together and I kick his butt while your gone."
"DEAL!" I started to get up but was pulled back to Black Star.
"DONT ABANDON ME GODDESS!"
"Hands off." Noire ripped me away and hugged me. "She's not yours, she's mine."
"Hahahaaa! How about we go double date and see stuff around France together." I said.
"Wait...IF KID GOT HIS GIRL BACK, THEN WHY DOES HE STILL WANT TO KICK MY BUTT ACROSS FRANCE?" Black Star narrowed his eyes at Kid.
"Dude, you kissed me."
"Sorry you look like my goddess!" He said with attitude.
"Not for to long." I giggled and then put a hand over my mouth.
"What are you going to do?" Noire asked me.
"I am going to get longer hair."
"Like hair extensions?" Noire tilted her head.
"Great idea right? Their not permanent and it isn't hair dye so ha, I could totally pull it off."
"Ok." Noire hugged me. "DOUBLE DATE TIME!" She giggled and reached out pulling Kid into the hug.
"Wait...no more look-a-like?"
"Yep! WAHAHAHHHAAAAAAAA."
"Don't you two start fighting. It's to early in the morning." Noire dragged us both out of the room and said bye to the shippers and gave them the address to the hotel and dragged us off the plane to the airport and Noire hailed a cab after picking up a brochure. Black Star followed and go in.
"How about we go to some fancy restaurant for food?" I said.
"Well....if you really want...." Noire looked out the window. I looked over at Black Star and then out the window the whole time watching the town we drove through. When we got to the a place the cab stopped and we all got out. "Hey after we fight the keishin tomorrow we should have some alone time Black Star...how about we go over to rome?" I bit my bottom lip ask I asked.
"Sure!" He smiled at me. "If I'm still alive."
"You'll be fine. RIGHT Kid."
"No....no he won't...." Kid wrapped an arm around Noire's waist.
"Don't ruin my trip to Rome with him." I pouted.
"I'll think about it...." Kid opened the door for Noire and me and glared at Black Star and rolled his eyes as Black Star walked after me.
"Play nice boys we are in a public place in another county, I don't want to get kicked out of France."
"Fine." Kid muttered and came in and got our table for us and we sat down, Kid put Noire on the inside and Black Star sat in the inside for me on our side.
"What would dad do if we got kicked out of a county...No parties for a week? I would die."
"Kid already got kicked out of Egypt." Noire giggled. "Anubis."
"AHHHHH ANUBIS!" Kid faceplanted the table and I giggled.
"Go bro! You are learning so much from me every day."
"Bonjoir! I have your menus for this beautiful romantic morning. I understand that you come from America so I got the English menus!" A young teenager girl handed us our menus.
"Thank you...ummm." I looked for her nametag. I spotted the edge of it underneath her hair and realized I couldn't read it. "Miss."
"Oh! I'm sorry!" She flipped her hair over her shoulder and I saw her name was Evie Goodman. I nodded and then picked up the menu. "I'll be back soon to take your order ok?" She waved goodbye as she walked off. "Salut!"
"So what to get to eat...hmmm..." I looked up at Kid. Now that I have thought about it I wonder how he took the hall way yesterday. let me ask. "So Kid, how did you like the hall yesterday and the mantle." So what I lied about the mantle, just want to see him have a heart attack.
"NOOOOO! THE HALL WAS ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE! Wait.....did you say mantle? THE MANTLE IS ASYMMETRICAL?!? NOOOOOOOOO! WE'RE GOING BACK RIGHT NOW TO GO FIX IT AND THEN WE'L COME BACK!" He stood up and face planted the floor when he fell to his knees. "I'M ASYMMETRICAL GARBAGE! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE GARBAGE! HOW COULD I NOT NOTICE THE MANTLE?!? NOOOOOOO! I'LL DIE! I SHOULD DIE! THROW ME OUT ON GARBAGE DAY! HOW CAN I TAKE DADDY'S PLACE IF I CAN'T EVEN NOTICE THE MANTLE BEFORE I LEAVE?!? TERRIBLE TERRIBLE REAPER SCUM! I WANNA DIE! I'M SO ASYMMETRICAL AND THE MANTLE IS ASYMMETRICAL! I CAN'T KEEP ANYTHING BEAUTIFULLY SYMETRICAL! I SHOULD JUST CRAWL INTO A HOLE AND DIE! EVERYTHING I TOUCH TURNS ASYMMETRUCAL IN A SECOND WITH MY SISTER AROUND! AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kid was banging his fist on the ground crying and Noire sunk down in her seat putting her hand above her eyes trying to hide. Kid stood up quickly, turned around and stared at Noire who squirmed a little under his gaze. Kid gasped and got back into the seat next to Noire and grabbed her. "I MUST FIX IT!"
"Oh calm down brother we are symmetrical together. I lied about the mantle and I swear if you fix Noire I will kick your butt!"
"BUT HER HAIR IS ASYMMETRICAL! I MUST MAKE IT PERFECT!" He started crying looking at the braid going over only one shoulder.
"Hey your hair is to." I covered my mouth quickly.
"NOOOOOOO! DON'T POINT IT OUT! AHHHHHHHH! NOIRE AND I ARE BOTH ASYMMETRICAL! I'VE GOT TO FIX THIS THE BEST I CAN! NOIRE, COME HERE!" He gestured for Noire to sit in his lap, but she shook her head scared and scooted away to the wall in their seat.
"I have asymmetrical hair to brother." He looked at me and smirked pulling out a can of white spray paint.
"Not for a few more hours." He reached across the table and spray painted the streaks to be symmetrical and then did himself and looked at Noire. "I thought I told you to come here."
"OH MY COW BLACK STAR DOES IT LOOK BAD!" I panicked and then took off running to the bathroom. The streaks were perfectly symmetrical now. "AHHHHHHHH KID I AM GOING TO MURDER YOU!" I ran back out to him and saw he was holding Noire down as he started to fix her hair into a ponytail to make it more symmetrical and she was trying to get away.
"Stop it Kid! I don't want to be perfectly symmetrical! You won't leave me alone if I do become perfectly symmetrical and Fade will leave me alone with you!" Noire struggled to get away. I went over and grabbed Kid by his jackets collar and pushed him into the floor.
"I got one word for you, An-"
"ANUBIS! ANUBIS, ANUBIS, ANUBIS!" Noire screamed. "LEANING TOWER OF PISA! ANUBIS! SEVEN! SEVEN, SEVEN, SEVEN! THE WHOLE COUNTRY OF AMERICA! AND FINALLY ANUBIS." Noire took a deep breath and messed up Kid's unfinished handiwork on her.
"Good day brother." I walked off to the bathroom and then tried to wash it out of my hair. Noire came in after a few minutes and looked at me.
"Ooooooooh Kid's in trouble...." She giggled.
"You know it."
"So I was wondering.....are you ever going to come back and order. That Evie is waiting on you and is eyeing our guys I think."
"Oh. Yeah." I shrugged. "It will Fade away eventually. Come on." I pulled her out and to the table. Evie smiled at me.
"Bonjoir again young mademoiselle." She giggled.
"Hi!" I sat down and then looked through the menu quickly then at her. "I will take a glass of wate- no two glasses of water and then A chicken and wine wrap which looks interesting. That is all."
"Ok two glasses of water and a chicken and wine wrap for the young mademoiselle here. Alright....what about you?" She looked to Noire. "I believe in ladies first so I hope your ready to order!" Noire looked at the menu.
"I think I will take a Dr. Pepper and a hamburger." Noire said. Evie nodded.
"So that's two waters, a Dr. Pepper, a chicken and wine wrap, and a hamburger. What about you monsieurs?" She smiled at our boys.
"Oh I think you should just bring me the special of the day with a glass of...hmmm... I don't like water. How about some wine?"
"I'm sorry. Please excuse my boyfriend. He'll take a lemonade. He's not 21." Noire stomped on his foot. Evie nodded and wrote that down.
"OWE! Hey if I am getting lemonade give me two so it will be symmetrical!" Evie looked confused.
"Wait....how old is he?" Evie tilted her head.
"Seventeen." Kid and I said together.
"Awwww....off by one year! If you were 18, I could've given you the wine. The drinking age is different here." Evie put down two lemonades. "So what about you?" She asked Black Star.
"Same thing as Noire but I want bacon on my burger and Dr. Thunder instead of Dr. Pepper." Evie raised an eyebrow writing it down then stopped.
"Wait...Noire?" She looked up at my Noire. "That's a cool name. It's got the French word for black in it. So anyways, two waters, two lemonades, one Dr. Pepper, one Dr. Thunder, a chicken and wine wrap, a hamburger, a hamburger with bacon on it, and the special. That's all right?" She smiled at us.
"Yes miss." I smiled and then looked at Noire. "Wow, black huh?" Evie walked away and Noire looked at Kid quickly the scooted a little away.
"Why'd you scoot away?"
"You're obsessed with French." Noire stated and watched him.
"I cant help it." He shrugged. "It just seems to pop up into my daily life most the time."
"Yeah....I just don't want you getting any ideas because my name has a French word in it." Noire smirked at him.
"Ideas... I know where we are going on ou-" He got quiet. Noire raised an eyebrow.
"On what?"
"Nothing!" Black Star busted out laughing.
"Oh that's just rich!" He laughed some more.
"Oh poor Noire." I mumbled getting what Kid was about to say.
"What was he about to say?" Noire looked to me.
"I will tell you when your older."
"What am I? Two?"
"Sometimes...."
"What really?!? I act like a two year old?" Noire pouted.
"Maybe." I giggled.
"Kid! Fade says I act like a toddler!" Noire turned to Kid.
"I'm not in this."
"Yes you are.....you called me a baby last night as well." Noire glared at him.
"I did?"
"Yeah, repeatedly."
"It's true." He leaned over and kissed Noire. Noire's eyes widened but they closed and she leaned into the kiss a little. I turned away to look at Black Star and out the window. Black Star smirked.
"How about a little kissy kiss too?"
"No." I shook my head and watched a bird fly by the window.
"Awwww, that's no fun! I even asked first!"
"Too bad."
"I'm getting one." He leaned over to me determined and his hand came to the back of my head to keep me from pulling away and kissed me. He pulled away after a few seconds and relaxed. "See? Not too bad."
"AHHHH I HAVE COOTIES!" I sunk down in my seat. "Cooties." Evie came over with our order and smirked when she saw Noire and Kid kissing.
"Ah young love, happens all the time in France especially here." She set my stuff down in front of me and set Noire and Kid's in front of them not bothering them and gave Black Star his. "You should go to the Eiffel Tower! I'm sure those two would love it!" She giggled.
"Yeah my brother is a big fan of French, he probably plans to do so later today."
"Well, love really shows up there more than in here." Evie giggled again.
"I thought that all my life." I shrugged.
"I'll give your brother a French hint when I come back ok?" She waved and left.
"Okay." I looked over at Black Star. "So..."
"This is a little weird.....Normally Kid is the refined one.....and I'm usually making out with you.....our couple roles have been switched on us." He watched Kid and shook his head. "He didn't even notice Evie gave him his food."
"They just got back together their gonna act like that all day." I shrugged and then began to eat my food when I seen the two glasses of water and smirked. "After they kiss..."
"Don't ruin the Kino." Black Star took a bite of his burger. "I'm too busy filming it for the shippers and Soul."
"Your a shipper to?" I scooted away and kept eating.
"Technically no, but I owe them a few favors...." He shuddered. "There is no way I'm filming my bro kiss his girl for them."
"You are though." I crossed my arms. "Traitor."
"I'm either A) gonna delete it or B) show it to Kid to let him see then delete it."
"You seem to favor number b." I shook my head. "Makes the most since."
"I didn't say that I wasn't already on my way to delete it right now."
"Oh OK." I scooted over and looked at his phone. Black Star was chunking the video. Noire pulled away from Kid quickly like he did something she didn't like. Noire looked at her food and took a bite blushing.
"Americans." I said and shook my head. "You and your hamburgers...ewe."
"It was either that or a salad." Noire ate one of her French fries.
"Okay then." I watched Kid as he took a bite of the special for the day then watched him eat it all in a near minute. "Wow...." I looked at my plate of food. "He really likes French things."
"Yeah he does." Noire muttered upset.
"Oh!" I think I know what he done... "Where to next Kid after we eat..."
"Museum of Symmetry." He said quickly.
"YOU ARE NOT TAKING ME TO A MUSEUM ALL ABOUT SYMMETRICAL THINGS KID!"
"Well then...." He folded his hands together on the table. "How about a more...romantic setting? Eiffel Tower anyone?"
"That sounds like exactly where I wanted to go next." I shrugged.
"And the two most wonderful things about the Eiffel Tower are the most splendid." He smirked.
"Huh? What two things..."
"Absolutely romantic and symmetrical for the most part!" He laughed and pulled Noire towards him a little.
"That's ok, I get to go see the leaning tower tomorrow with Black Star that will make up for tonight."
"Well.....have fun tomorrow....WAIT. I get Noire all to myself tomorrow! YES!" He hugged her tightly.
"After we defeat the kishin..."
"Oh that Kishin? Pfft....Liz and Patti texted me already that they collected his soul while we were ordering and you were hiding in the bathroom. They went off on their own and did it with Tsubaki."
"What! Well as long as daddy don't find out then our butts will be saved Kid."
"What's so wrong about letting your weapons fight without you sometimes? Maybe that's the reason why Noire is so easy to kidnap because you won't let her practice by herself."
"Death. the. kid. YOU DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO WITH MY WEAPON!" I picked up a spoon and pointed it at him. "Got me?"
"Geez.....both of you. Fade how about you hand over your rings before someone ticks you off even more and you beat them up?" Noire looked at me.
"Sure you can have them but trust me, I don't need rings." I handed them over to Noire and narrowed my eyes at Kid. "Prick."
"Well that's mean!" Kid narrowed his eyes at me while Noire slipped my rings onto a chain that had Kid's rings on it.
"It means your a prick." I felt Black Star wrap his arm around my shoulder and looked at him.
"Hey calm down." He smiled. I bit my bottom lip.
"I AM CALM!" I looked away.
"Don't look it to me...." Kid muttered. I started shoving the food into my mouth and glared at him the whole time. "So Noire is a touchy subject then." He winced. I grabbed a glass of water and looked down at it and then stood up slinging the water onto him.
"YES YOU IDIOT!"
"AHHHHHHHHHH! WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE! I'm drowning!" He cried and ran off. "AQUA! H2O! WATCH OUT IT IS COMING FOR EVERYONE!"
"Wow...never seen his say that before." I said. Noire sunk down in her seat and covered her eyes.
"I don't know that guy....."
"Nether do I." I giggled and sat down giving the glass to Black Star and then got the other one and started drinking.
"Why...why me?" Noire whimpered.
"You said yes." I mumbled and smiled. "We better leave before the manager throws us out." Noire nodded and looked at the bill which Evie had left for us a while ago and looked up at us.
"Go by fourths?"
"Nah we make Kid pay."
"But he's running around in circles! What am I supposed to do? Fix myself up symmetrical to get him to calm down and come back?"
"Fine I guess I could spear my shopping money." I pulled out my credit cart and got up. "Lego!"
"Ok!" Noir stood up and stretched. Evie came over.
"Oh! Are you guys ready to pay for it?"
"Yep. Here you go miss." I handed her my card. Evie left and came back soon and handed it to me.
"Well, thanks for eating here! Solut!" She giggled and waved.
"Where is my crazy brother..." I looked around for him.
"Found him.....can you get him off?" Noire pleaded with me looking down at Kid who was hugging her leg crying on the floor.
"HAHAHAHAAAAA, YO. Get up you wonderful asymmetrical weirdo!"
"AHHHHHH! I'M ASYMMETRICAL AND WET! THIS IS SO WRONG! WATER BELONGS IN PONDS AND CUPS! NOT CLOTHES! WAAAAAAAAAH! NOIRE LET ME FIX YOUR HAIR! IT'S STILL NOT RIGHT! SO TERRIBLE THAT I'M WET AND ASYMMETRICAL! IT'S A NIGHTMARE!" Kid was bawling all over Noire who was tensed up watching him not let her go.
"Death the Kid get up or I will tell daddy... You.... You are mean! Ha there, now get up."
"NO! I WANT TO FIX NOIRE'S HAIR TO BE SYMMETRICAL!" He glared at me with his tear streaked face.
"Fine." I crossed my arms.
"YAY!" He stood up and pulled Noire against him and took out her braid again and started to pull it into a perfect ponytail. Noire's eyes were wide as she watched me.
"He's...making me symmetrical..."
"I...know." I gritted my teeth watching. Kid backed away and viewed his handiwork.
"THERE! PERFECTLY SYMMETRICAL NOW!" He laughed happily.
"Yeah." I grabbed him by the color and dragged him out the place onto the sidewalk. Noire and Black Star followed laughing about something together. "What's so funny?" I dropped Kid and looked at them.
"Nothing." Black Star said quickly looking away.
"Noire?" I looked at Noire.
"Ummm........Black Star said that even though you don't like Kid you still touch him and get his cooties everyday, and then when I touch you I get both Black Star, and Kid germs and then you get Kid germs from me so Black Star also gets Kid germs while Kid also get Black Star germs. It's a continuous cycle."
"I see." I dropped to my knees. "AHHHHH COOTIES EVERYWHERE!"
"Dang...look at that.....Fade is freaking out over cooties." Noire giggled.
"Cooties." I shivered then got up and dusted myself off and looked at Kid. "Cooties everywhere!"
"Yeah." Kid got up casually.
"Pfft, all of you have my cooties by now." Noire put her hands behind her head.
"So off to that pretty place now right Kid?" I looked at Kid.
"YEAH! I WANNA HAVE A BIG KINO MOMENT!" He laughed and hailed a cab.
"Yay! Kino moment." I giggled and got into the cab. Black Star, Noire, and Kid got in after me and Kid gave the destination and we were soon at the Eiffel Tower. I got out slowly and looked up towards the top. "Wow I feel small..."
