Chapter 6

Nathan POV:

I found her, I finally found her.

My wolf ( Maxine ) purred at the thought.

Why didn't we claim her right there? We had her in our arms!

He growled in my head as he spoke and I sighed.

We couldn't claim her in a public place, you know that.

He pouted and began pacing.

What if she leaves? Or what if we never see her again?! You better find her or I swear I'll leave you and make you feel a pain worse then the worse pain you've ever felt!

His threats were nothing to take lightly, and I knew I had to do something quick.

Don't worry I'll have Austin and Fin be on the look out. We'll get our mate soon... very soon Indeed.

I mind linked Austin and Fin telling them to be on the look out for the girl I saw earlier and told them to hurry to the spot I was before. Then I went back to my office in the main part of the city and went back to work. But I could never stop thinking about her, or what I was going to do to her later.

I smirked at the thought.

Soon little mate... soon indeed.

Maria's POV:

I looked around the city, bumping into people as I walked and sighed, this was useless. I would get nowhere this way! So about half an hour after endlessly walking, I went into the first store that seemed decent enough, it just so happened to be a donut shop. If you don't judge me I won't judge you. I can feel your judgingness from here! Sheesh can't a lady get a donut after being in the hospital? Yeah! that's what I thought!

Anyway, back to what I was doing. I looked around at the little decorations around the little place and it wasn't bad. There was a shelf of antique tea pots in the corner and pictures of fancy places I've never seen before on the walls. I .. don't get out much.. *cough cough* The wallpaper was light and colorful and the overall feel of the place was homey. Like a grandmas house, it was kinda nice.

I read the sign on the front desk carefully, 'Free donuts till 5:00 pm' I looked up at the clock and my heart raced. If that clock was right I had 3 minutes till 5:00! And there was 1 person in that line keeping me from my destiny! Me and that chocolate covered raspberry filled donut had a date that I wasn't going to miss it! Not today Satan, not TO-DAY!
