Reappearence

Erasmus was currently in the Ice world that was in his mind space. He had been here multiple times before however this time it was different, instead of seeing incarnations that used a variety of techniques for him to choose from this time there were none. Erasmus was confused. This had never happened before however before long he would get his answer as not far away from him sitting on a Snow Pine Tree was a silhouette that he had met once before, Balthazar Auguste, The 43rd Clan Head of the Auguste Clan.

The 43rd Clan Head of the Auguste Clan looked at me. I could see astonishment filled his eyes. looking at me once more he said: "Young one how many winters have you lived through"

I was confused for a second until I had remembered that the idea of years had not existed during the Era that The Clan Head had lived in "Ancestor I am 29 Winters old however in my era I would be 30 Years old as that would be the new measurement of time that is being used currently."

"Indeed a lot has changed, even the standards of geniuses, you are truly a genius. Even I the creator of The "Herald of Ice" took much longer at Reaching the Second cycle then you, and you have to know in the time I lived I was hailed as an unprecedented genius" The 43rd Clan Heads soft voice sounded out.

"Thank you for the compliment Ancestor"

"It is not a compliment but rather a fact, what is your name?"

"My Royal Name is Erasmus Cephalos Auguste"

"Good name, now Erasmus do you know why our Clan has been one of the terrifying clans to have ever lived on the face of the continent; it is due to three reasons. The first two is due to our Bloodline Power which you will come to know about when you awaken it. The second reason is the ability to use our mind spaces to create anything we want which you know about by know; you should also know that is not the only ability of our mind space so keep practising and explore its myriads of abilities. What I wish to talk to you about is the third reason, Erasmus have you ever heard of the Power of Names."

Erasmus had heard about this ability before "The Power of Names is an ability that enables one to control a person through the power of their true names."

"That is indeed true however that is only for those who Practice the Way of Fate, Our Power of Names is different, it can call upon anything and everything. Be it a Dead person or even a Beast from the outer realms; It has the power to call upon any Law and Way of the world. For example, you can call upon any ability that has ever existed. Every single member of the Auguste Clan who possessed the Power of Names had to have a pure bloodline meaning they had to be a direct descendant of a Clan Head or that Clan Heads, siblings.

The reason I am telling you this is because I have sensed a great disaster coming towards the Realm and I want you to warn your father about this. Also, know that to obtain the Power of names, One would have to participate in the ritual of Inheritance which I believe your father will conduct soon."

When the news hit me, I was shocked beyond belief, and this was something scarce however at that moment I could only ask one thing "Is the Ritual of Inheritance going to grant the Power of Names to one person or all of the participants?"

Balthazar's form was disappearing as he started to speak "Our Clan may be the most terrifying for three reasons but we are the longest-lived for one reason, and that is unity, so what do you think the answer to that question is Erasmus?"

Erasmus was about to answer him when he was pulled out of his mind space and was forced back to reality. Erasmus opened his eyes to see his father holding his large hand which was glowing a golden colour atop his forehead, no doubt that he was the one that forcefully took him out of his mind space.

His father looked at him, and Erasmus looked at his surroundings suddenly realising he was in his room that he had used when he was younger. His father gave him a look that said he wanted to know everything.

Erasmus told his father everything from when he encountered Balthazar for the first time to the battle against the Snout Beetle King and what just happened right now during his second encounter with Balthazar.

After some thinking The current Clan Head and Erasmus father, Zeidan spoke up "I have communicated with many Clan Heads in my MindSpace. However, I have never communicated with Balthazar, Don't worry that is one of the many abilities to use your MindSpace for, the rest will come to you sooner or later. As for the beast, you fought to call it a Snout Beetle King would be wrong as its true name is a Tyrraphoid Beetle King. However, I believe calling it the latter would be much better and easier. As for its true identity it is is a Demonic beast at the Seventh Rank. hmmm, Why would a demonic beast show up and just before the Winter Magical beast Horde, this perplexes me."

My father was suddenly lost in thought a habit of his that happened frequently, however he got out of it fast and turned towards his son and said: "Erasmus you rest, you just fought a hard battle and won, Don't think I forgot this, A reward will come to you for your efforts."
