This book has it all you would love to find in any Vampire genre story. The way the author built thr characters is amazing mostly the female lead(Aya), the way she put others first before herself and her beliefs like when Gem wanted to take advantage of her. "no one can stop the inevitable" it one of my favorites qoutes from this book, it's in that part when Lord Kai killed Mr. Lu, he was killed but they continue with the ceremony. It's like no matter what happens the show must go on. I love how revenge and regrets are portrayed. Jin wants to kill Aya for revenge because she killed his creater, the one who changed him from human to a vampire but little does know that she also went through so much at a tender age. Jin was already part of an army which means he had skill even when he was still human. I think he'll regret everything he has done to her right from the beginning. And also 'Life's possibilities' Aya's first love was Mr.Lu then Lok and now it's Enikil which means she gives herself chances to love and to be loved. This story has alot of lessons in it like ' it's never too late to change for the one you love'. if you follow and still following this book you'll see Aya and Enikil's relationship. Enikil has done some many things and kept many secrets like having gods as his children who right now are thirsty for power however, he decided to get back most of the power he gave them and by the time they will realize, it'll be already too late. I can't say everything in this story, it's awesome, one heck of roll coaster.
Thus review doesn't really count, but I re read my chapters three times. I honestly think I was being to harsh on myself. Though yes, I will do better on my backgrounds. I swear it. The character of Aya is in many ways a tragic figure. However, as she learns and grows to know part of the world, she too begins to change as the story progresses. The Elder, or Mako, is interesting in as much as he has known Aya the longest, and his longevity is high despite the world around him and his blindness. He loves one and all, and never stops trying to do the right thing for all concerned. I could go on and on, but it would be foolish and redundant. I just hope that anyone that reads this, at least finds some enjoyment.
