Sisters

It was the day Kuroka finally got to meet her sister again and she's surprisingly not as nervous as I expected her to be.

"Good to see you starting to look like your usual self again" I commented as she made her way into living room.

"I was thinking a lot last night and you were right I was a overreacting a bit yesterday."

"A Bit?" I asked in amusement.

"Maybe more than a bit nya" she muttered and I chuckle a little.

"They'll be arriving soon" I told her as she nodded.

"Is your Rias coming as well nya?" she asked slyly.

"Of course, she was assigned to look after your sister after all." I answered

"Oh. I forgot about that nya"

It seems she's starting to get nervous again and is trying to distract herself by being a tease.

I just sigh and patted my lap, signaling her to lay her head on it, she looked at me for a sec before laying down.

"I hope this calm you down" I said softly "I really don't want you to waste this opportunity out of nervousness" I continued.

"If you keep doing this I might end up falling for you nya" she said softly looking up at me.

I really don't know if she's serious or just teasing, but if we're going by her tone, I believe she's serious.

"I'll be there to catch you if you do" I replied with a straight face.

I would have cringe internally if it wasn't for the small blush that appear.

*Ahem* I heard mom's fake cough from the door.

"They're here?" I asked. Kuroka immediately perked up.

Mom nodded and told us to follow her and we did just that.

'So we're using one of the meeting rooms' I thought as I look at Kuroka who at the moment has a very serious look on her face. Good, at least she doesn't look nervous.

...

As we enter the room, we were greeted with the sight of dad and Sirzechs having a conversation and Rias sitting with a short white haired girl who was staring straight at Kuroka.

"Shirone" I heard her muttered with longing clear in her voice.

"It seems we're all here" Sirzechs broke the tense atmosphere that was looming.

"Now unless the two sisters wants company I suggest we give them space." dad added.

I nodded as I made eye contact with Kuroka. "If Shirone wants someone to stay with her, I want you to stay as well" she whispered and I nodded.

But it seems I'll be going as I saw Rias stood up and walk towards me.

I patted Kuroka on the shoulder as I walk away with Rias.

Dad and Sirzechs dissapeared elsewhere, probably to discuss how to remove or reduce Kuroka's sentence.

...

"So, care to explain why you took in Shirone's sister?"

'Good, she hasn't change her name.' I thought.

"I was curious, I just don't think someone who apparently got mad in power and went on a massacre would spare someone even if that someone is her sister. So, I asked dad to look into it, lucky he was just as curious as I am. So here we are" I answered.

"So how is she, Shirone has been very nervous ever since hearing about learning that her sister wasn't really going crazy and meeting her again" Rias said with a bit of worry in her voice.

"I see you've grown quite fond of her" I said as I took a hold of her hand and she immediately tightens her grip.

"I have Indeed." she replied with a bit of a blush. "And I could tell I'm not the only one that grew fond of a cat" she continued looking directly at me.

I just chuckle scratching the back of my head.

"Well to answer your question, she's probably just as nervous as her sister. She's afraid that she won't be given a chance to explain herself" I answered.

"How's Shirone-san when she came in?" I asked.

*Sigh* "Saying she was depressed would be an understatement. She was meek and unresponsive, she didn't eat or even talk at all for the first few days. It took a lot of patience to get her to open up even just a little, luckily, Akeno-san was there as well and she was a great help" she answered.

I nodded, then I remember something.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Here" I said as I return her necklace. "It now has a built in communications device. We should be able to call and talk to each other wherever we are and whenever we want." I continued as I explained how to use it. She nodded and wore it happily.

Even got a kiss on the cheek as a reward.

...

<Meanwhile>

"I believe you Nee-san" Shirone said. Kuroka immediately lunged forward and brought her sister in for a hug as tears stream down their faces.

...

"Now can you tell me how you've been, have you been treated well in the Gremory's household?" Kuroka asked and her sister nodded.

"They treated me quite well, especially Rias and Akeno-san" Shirone answered and began to recount her time in the Gremory castle, when she was done her elder sister sigh in relief.

"That's good to hear, even though Savion has told me about them, I couldn't help but worry" She said.

"Savion? Is it the one you came in with?" Shirone asked curiously.

*GASP* "Are you already looking for a mate?! Sorry but nee-san already got dips on him"

"Nothing like that, I've just heard Rias talk about him before" Shirone said plainly not even reacting to her sister's teasing.

Kuroka seems to expect this and doesn't even react and began to animatedly tell about her time with Savion and his family.

.

<A few minutes later>.< back outside>

"Looks like their done." I said as I looked towards the room.

Sure enough the door opened and the two sisters came out and it looks like the talk got a bit emotional as their eyes were a bit red, but the smile on their faces tell another story all together with Kuroka's smile being a lot more prominent.

"Its the first time I saw her show even a little bit of emotion" Rias said looking at Shirone's small smile.

...

Kuroka made her way towards me, turn to her cat form and straight up jumped into my arms, snuggling into it.

'I guess she's emotional spent' I thought as I start patting her, all the while Rias and Shirone looked on in surprised.

*Sigh* "I assume the talk went smoothly?" I asked softly. She nodded as I sigh in relief.

"Nee-san?" I heard the monotone voice of Shirone.

"Come join in Shirone, it's cozy and warm" Kuroka said waving her paws at her sister.

I would have just brush it off if it wasn't for the expectant and curious look Shirone was giving me.

'What the HELL did she tell her in the room?!' I thought as I look down at the cat in my arms, who immediately turned away. Then I looked to Shirone again, who still had that look on her face.

'Guess Kuroka told her about how me and mom spoiled her and she wanted to be pampered as well' I thought.

But I really couldn't carry the two of them comfortably so I turn to Shirone, then slowly to Rias.

They both seem to understand what I was going for as Shirone turn to Rias, who nodded back with a kind smile.

Shirone although didn't show much emotions looked a bit surprised before turning into a beautiful snow white cat and getting picked up by Rias.

...

"It seems they're both quite drained." I commented as I look down at the sleeping cats.

"So um, what now?" Rias asked, stroking the sleeping Shirone.

"You should take her back with you for now. She seems comfortable with you enough and since Kuroka can't leave my place, you can always bring her here if she wants to stay with her sister." I said.

She nodded in agreement and after she received a kiss on the cheek of her own she teleported home with Shirone still in her arms.

A/N: Shirone will not be renamed 'Koneko' like in canon as there is absolutely no reason to do so.

Also I just like the idea of the two sisters being pampered and spoiled by Savion and Rias' family.
