A Way Out

Alina pov:

How long has it been? I don't remember. I was playing with my friends outside of the forest when some humans kidnapped me. They treated me mercilessly many wanted to make me their plaything others wanted to use me for their inhuman hobbies. The only reason I survived this long is because my captors wanted to acquire as much money as possible by selling me.

"He he he don't worry you will find your new master soon." I just bit his hand which he extended towards me.

"Ahh! damn bitch 'Slap!' that's what you get for being feisty"

I just glared at him. I wanted to go back home though I didn't have a home. My mother and father are dead I was an only child. The relatives that took care of me were only interested in what my parents had left me. If possible I want to become strong I want to explore most of all I want to make friends who weren't just wild animals.

As I was thinking about these I heard home ruckus outside my cage I couldn't see what was going on but heard a voice.

"Hey who are you?" I heard my captors voice outside

"Although slaves are legal I don't see a permit on you." This time it was a young voice. He kinda sounded like he was around my age.

"That's none of your business you get the hell out of here or else."Shing~ I heard a weapon being unsheathed.

"You have eyes yet you refuse to recognize mount Tie!"

"What the hell are you blabbering about? Die!" Next I heard a thud and everything went silent.

Step Step Step. I heard footsteps coming my way. Each step was making me more anxious. 'I don't want to see his face. I don't want to be others plaything please.' closing my eyes I clutched my head and started crying.

Whosh! the covers of the cage were lifted and I came face to face with a pear of red eyes. "Beautiful!" the word automatically escaped from my mouth. He was a young man who seemed to be 13-14. His heir was pure black with a reddish tint and the ends of his heir was also red. He was wearing strange clothes which I had never seen before. He gave off a warm and welcoming aura. I found my hand automatically reaching for him.

"Well young lady I know I am handsome but we've just met. Let's take things a bit slowly."

Hearing his words snapped me out of my daze. When I realized my actions and started blushing heavily. 'Slice' with a swing of his sword he sliced opened my cage.

"Well then young lady it was nice to meet you. See you then good bye." When I saw him leaving me I instinctively garbed his the back of his clothes. Realizing what I had done I quickly let go of it fearing he would hate me. But that didn't happen instead I heard him chuckling.

"Let me guess you don't have a place to go?"

I gave him a nod.

I blushed heavily this time. " Well lets get you fed first"

3rd pov:

"Master you should have worn formal for such an occasion. The royal family invited us!"

Alina was complaining about Tians clothes as usual. After he rescued her last month she became really attached to him. She also insisted that she will be his personal maid from now on.' Well she may become useful to me if what I felt about her powers is true, so I will bring her with me.' thought Tian as he was walking to the royal chambers.

"Hey I like my clothes and they are comfortable too." Tian was wearing the standard eastern young master outfit. As he was Approaching the audience chamber he saw the heavily decorated walls and statues 'Being the royals have its own benefits I guess.' Thinking about this he entered the chamber.

"You are now in the presence of king Earlshide the Thirteenth kneel."

The king just raised his hand and said "No need for that. So I take it you are Tian Yi the fastest to ever achieve A rank in history?"

"That would be me King Earlshide."

"Although baldness has it's merit, yours is a bit too much." Saying so he released the pressure of a black gold rank. Tian was a bit shocked as this was the first time he came across a cultivator in this realm. Thinking that he would answer his burning questions Tian released his peak legend rank pressure. Although his demon spirit was suppressed in this realm that did not stop him cultivating. His adventurers also led him to find some nice items which helped him push his cultivation even further.

Facing my soul pressure the guards directly fainted the king began to sweat profoundly and Tian didn't even let out 5% of his pressure.

"Now tell me who was it again that was acting bold?"

"Who....who are you?" the king now sitting in a puddle of sweat asked him this while he was quivering in fear.

"I will be the one who's asking the questions. Tell me how it is that you have a cultivation base? are you from the outside world or the descendents of the chaos god ?"

"So you came from the outside world but how? the world is sealed!"

"None of your business just answer the questions." I then released another burst of power and it seemed to do the trick.

"I will answer you but please stop your spiritual pressure."

Tian released his pressure and the room became normal again. "So is it just you or there are other cultivators out there?"

"We can't chat here follow me to the private room." composing himself the king led Tian and Alina to his private room.

Sitting down on the chair Tian said "Talk enough stalling."

"To answer your questions I possess one because I belong to the Chaos Lotus alliance. It's an organization which seeks to continue the legacy of our ancestors."

"the legacy of the spiritual god?" Tian asked as he was intrigued.

"Yes after the ancestor's master passed away from fighting in the great war he passed on his legacy to each of his 6 students who are the ancestors of the current population here."

"Hmm I get that but why aren't there other cultivators?" Tian asked feeling a bit confused.

" I don't know if you sensed it but this world's spiritual power is limited. Because it's closed off from the outside world. The spirit veins that populated this area have all dried up. If there were thousands of cultivators at the same time the overall strength of our forces would be reduced and so we came with alternative ways for them to build strength. Although the individual strength is lower if they stand together then it's a force to be reckoned with." The king explained it to him.

"What you meant to say was you don't want your own strength to fall." Tian replied with a sneer.

"Look at it however you want we did what we have to, an outsider like you can't understand our burden." Saying so the king closed his eyes in preparation for retaliation but it never came.

"So who's the top brass around here?" Tian didn't want to deal with this small fry so he wanted to know who was in charge.

"The council will be held in a week I will take you to meet them." said the king.

"Alright I will stay here for now then." Tian having nothing to do meanwhile wanted to tour the palace.

"Alright then make yourselves at home." As the king got off his seat and was heading back he had a sly smile on his face.

"Master I think he is planning something." Alina said with a bit of concern.

"You don't have to worry about that. What ever he is planning I will crush it with my strength." saying so Tian proceeded to tour the royal palace.
