Eddie stared firmly at Linda, while Jimenez, uncomfortable, tried to find the right words to justify what looked like a surrender.
Alex, next to Eddie, drummed his fingers on the table impatiently.
Jimenez took a deep breath, straightening his posture before answering. "I know that if we're going to start a new era with this B-Team, we need to make sure they have the support they need to not only compete, but to win. And that includes reinforcing the squad with some players from my group. But I'll be blunt: it won't be a simple choice."
Philip adjusted his glasses and crossed his arms, his expression skeptical. "Who exactly are you suggesting, Jimenez? This needs to be done strategically. The A-Team boys will not accept losing their top spot. They also won't join a group that has just overtaken them."
