"Yes, Jeremy," I said with a smile. He is still sad. I know I'm such a horrible girlfriend for him maybe someone who dont deserve him because of what I did. I cheated on him with a girl!

Finish my morning routine and put on a loose shirt and trousers. checked me in the mirror once. Have a cup of coffee and cereal for myself, I was about to take my phone and car keys and go to open the door, but a thought came to my mind. I know where is Fate but if I go there, what I'm supposed to tell her?

I think I'd be the only person in the world who argue with herself so much, but I do. This struggle starts when I'm tired...scared since I was a kid and now I got used to it.

I threw my body on the couch in the living room, eyes mended on the bouquets Jeremy had brought. How cheerful he was when I told him we would spend time together and now I make him leave. Closing my eyes a sigh left my lips 'Come on Universe at last give a purpose !'

My doze broke by an unfamiliar audio tone. I take a glance at the time it was noon. At first, I guessed that the tone was coming from my clock. However it's not,

I look at my phone .nope it wasn't from my phone.

Pushing myself up from the couch I moved towards Adierson's room. the noise is coming from there. I thought the door would be locked when she is not here but no, it unlocked

For the first time, I came into her room. Her room is neat with everything carefully organized in its place. she is a nifty person. I whirled my sights. On the side table next to her bed, the books she read are still kept there. Moving a little closer to them, I noticed the first one 'Bounded To the Devil's Daughter', I was circa to pick up the book, but the audio tone took my attention. I was right the tone was coming from her room.

An idea popped into my mind. She forgets her cell phone so when I will go to her apartment and she asked for an explanation to come I would say I'm here just to return this, and then I would say sorry. She will be back.

I grab her phone and took my car keys and phone. rushed towards the door. 'dont let this opportunity go without trying!'.

As I was leaving my parking lot and heading toward the road, I remembered something. The most important thing. I am going to give her phone back but I don't know her apartment address. I press the brakes and stopped the car 'What now?'. I need Someone who has her apartment address, someone who has gone to her apartment, but how can I find someone like that...Amy! Yes!, Amy. She is Jerry's girlfriend. so she would have gone to their apartment. Right? Of course, she would.

I dialled her number 'Come on Halton pick up the call!'. patience Jennie, maybe she is busy try again. For the fourth time, I dialled her number and guess what she is not PICKING UP! The urge of slaying someone is getting on my nerves. Groaning at my helplessness I call Mina. It didn't take long for her to answer"Unnie?". Thank God

"Mina do you know where Amy is?"I asked forthrightly. I'm not ready for any greeting shits right now

"huh? Well yeah, I think she's at Jerry's apartment. Why do you need something?"

"yes do you where Jerry's apartment is?" I ask using the most skilled casual tone

"sure? It's Downtown Street Public Square Garden. Flat B3 second floor"

I end the call. Now I got the adress so Let's get going, therefore. Following the address that Mina give, I reached Donton Street in around half an hour, passed over the square garden and stopped in front of the three buildings located in the same line, looks like they pertain to the same person. Mina said B2 means building number 2 second floor

I get off the car with her phone and began stepping inside the building. pressing the button on two floors of the lift I wait ' Just a few seconds Now'

Reaching the second floor the lift door opened I went out and saw Amy at the end of the corridor. I wonder why she is outside, she is supposed to be inside. Isn't she? Anyways, while heading towards her, I saw another person 'Evanoff? What the hell is she doing here?

Oliver Evanoff, or for Me just Evanoff, we know each other since kids by the fact the Evanoff family and my Hang Kim family have a favourable friendship

All thanks to Mr Aldéric Evanoff or Mr Ric, the eldest son of the Evanoff family and Oliver's dad. He was a famous painter from Russia. On my 15th birthday, he had drawn me and not only me our family portraits are also his masterpiece. My Dad was very impressed by his artistic outcome

But after his death, we bearly found anything about Evanoff the last thing we heard about them was that they move out after we left for New Zealand. Although I met Evanoff the day when we had the conference about the Collaboration I did not see her at the end of the conference, Jessie told me she had left for home.

"Jennie?" Amy looked at me. amazed. 'Oh Halton you should be glad I didn't kill you yet '

"Kim?" Evanoff gibes my name with bitterness 'okay why she's being an ass now '

"Evanoff" I fired back "What are you doing here?" I ask crossing my arms

It looks like my response just makes her blamed. because she is smirking! Why is she smirking? Though, Amy cleared her throat we both look at her "Well guess we all are here to see them but they're not here ."

"There was a lady at the next door she said they left in the morning"

I took out the phone from my trouser pocket, "Fate forgot her phone, so I thought she maybe need it ."

For some moment which feel like an eternity, the three of us just stayed there. Where did you go Fate? Am I late? At least give me a chance to ask your forgiveness

"I know where they went!" Evanoff said abruptly making both of us look at her

" O God! Jennie!" Amy struggled to pull me away from Evanoff but my grip tightens I could sense her carotid pulse. Her hands reach up clenching my wrists " I-...k-Kidding"

After We get out of the lift left the building and headed toward my car "Jennie you can give me Fate's phone and I'll give it to her. You don't have to come with us "

I rapidly answered "No! I will give it myself. I have brought my car and yes I'm coming with you guys," this cellphone is the only explanation I have to see her there is no way I'm giving this to someone else

"Well okay then let's go Jennie you go ahead Let me just get my car " I nod

When I was about to open my car door, someone moved me from the back and sat in the driver's seat "What the!"

For a few moments, I could hear someone talking and just when I was about ring again the door opened but it wasn't Fate it was a woman. She smiles ear to ear "is this your cat Fate ?"
