' You.. You are White??' Yu Songmin says shocked.

' Mm.' Bai Xue replies as if it was the most natural thing.

Yu Songmin wasn't the only speechless one. The whole building was stunned.

The technical department starts tracking the computer IP address to find which cubicle their big shot guest was at.

' Found it. Silver League, Room 25.' The IT head says and the admins rush towards the room.

Bai Xue had just raised the headphones to put on when a group of people burst in.

' White??' The manager calls out to Yu Songmin.

' No.. Not me.' Yu Songmin says shaking his head while pointing at Bai Xue.

' White?' The manager calls out again in shock.

' Any problem??' Bai Xue says scrutinising the manager. This man called out her name twice was something wrong with him? Or could it be a gamer thing? Yu Songmin was sometimes like that and Jiang Chen was even worse. No she had to warn Xiao Rong to minimise gaming.

She was still thinking when the building's owner arrived.

' Miss Bai? How come you are here?' The owner Mr Kim says. He recognised her. How could he forget how three years ago this lady sneered at the talented Jiang Chen and called his game too easy?

' I came to accompany this kid. His teammate backed out at the last second.' Bai Xue says.

' This young man is with you. Miss Bai allow me to be presumptuous and make a request?' Mr Kim says. Bai Xue looked at him.

' Can you not play? We'll give him the laptop and prize money and he can even participate in the tournament next month but please don't play, you'll squash the player's spirit.' Mr Kim says.

Bai Xue was speechless. When she played, she never controlled her strength and always defeated her opponents in the harshest way making them either strive to be better or develop a phobia for the game. The latter was the most popular outcome.

' What do you think?' Bai Xue says to Yu Songmin.

' Well... Okay I accept.' Yu Songmin says. He was quite shaken and he doubted if he could play properly and even if he did most of his credit would be accredited to Bai Xue and besides he could make the CEO owe him a favour.

30 minutes later,

Yu Songmin walked out with a new Snow Glory laptop and an account balance that was 500000 won higher than earlier.

' I'll treat you to snacks.' Yu Songmin says happily pulling Bai Xue to have soda and hamburgers. He was so happy that he forgot he was holding her hand and pulling her.

When they stopped at the snack stall, his face turned beet red as he let go of her hand immediately.

' It's all thanks to you that I have made a fortune and gained recognition. I'll toast to you.' Yu Songmin says as he gulps down his drink.

' You are very happy.' Bai Xue says.

' Yes. I always wanted to prove to myself that I can achieve something doing what I like and now I'm motivated. I want to be a great gamer like you and get recognition for my skills.' Yu Songmin says dreamily.

Bai Xue stared at him. This kid was good but he was quite naive. Couldn't he notice that he was being suppressed at Game City.

' I almost forgot. I booked a movie last night. Let's go watch it.' Yu Songmin says.

Bai Xue followed behind him with crossed fingers but when she saw the opening scene, Her face turned as dark as night.

After the movie, Yu Songmin pulled Bai Xue into a jewellery store and generously purchased a gold necklace with a white pendant for her that was worth a fifty thousand won.

They arrived back at the base and saw the other 6 lazing around.

' You are back.' Yun Hajoon says and the others turn to the entrance.

They mutter welcome to which Bai Xue nods and then heads to her room.

The others immediately pulled Yu Songmin to gossip. Yu Songmin held his bag tightly.

' Tell us what happened today.' Jang Jiho says.

Yu Songmin recounted the day's event and then looked at the other six.

Wait, the atmosphere doesn't feel right? Why do their faces look green?

Were they jealous?

A big yes!! Noone was more bitter than Park Jongwoo.

He cursed Bai Xue in his heart. He had bought her a dress but she never gave him anything. This was so unfair.

As a result when Bai Xue came down, she was met with 6 vengeful glares and a confused Yu Songmin.
