Ghost King-2

"They are here." I said with a sigh. Taking the HUD had been the right choice, seeing all the functions of the catalog app as a screen in real world was handy.

"So, any changes to the plan?" Ivy asked as she leaned back at the castle wall.

"No, there would be no merit in trying to go after them right now. We will take the princess now and then prepare for them." I said with a shake of my head. Getting Renner on my side before Demiurge did was important.

"You sure you'll be able to sneak in?" Ivy asked and I answered her by allowing my hand to turn into a mass of shadows.

"Oh yeah, you can do that." Ivy said with a blush, she was kinda adorable.

"I'll get the princess, you go after the alchemist kid. He's useful." I said and before Ivy could say anything, turned into a mass of shadows and flew inside the castle.

Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself, the third princess of the kingdom of E Rantel and the one known as 'Golden Princess' due to her looks and kindness, was rather bored at the moment.

Not that one would realize as she was walking trough the castle with her 'Golden Princess' mask on. It used to be rather tiresome to act like the way she had led the kingdom to believe she was every day but she had gotten rather used to it during the last year.

She couldn't risk Climb learning how she really was after all.

Ahh Climb, the mere thought of the little puppy she had picked from the streets and made into her bodyguard made Renner smile. He was just so adorable. The way he just looked up at her as if she was some sort of saint, it was the whole reason she bothered to keep her acts as the Golden Princess. Whenever she did something that helped the common people even by a bit, a eager light would enter Climb's eyes as he looked up at her!

She should do something nice soon, it had been far too long since the last time Climb had looked at her with such fervor after all. She couldn't get enough of it!

So with purpose, she went to her room. She had several ideas that would do good for the people she had thought of before and locked down in her jewelry box. Combine one or two of them and Climb would be looking up to her with devotion once more. Just as she liked.

And if she did that as well...

"Quite concentrated aren't you?" She bolted upright as she heard a noise from behind her. Which should have been impossible as she was in her royal suite with the door locked! How did this man...

"Scream and the entire castle dies." He said with narrowed eyes as he walked up to her.

He was rather impressive. Handsome in a roguish way with pitch black hair and eyes. His clothes were... weird. They just looked like a dark pants and shirt combo under a trench coat, the kind of clothing common people would wear except for one thing. They were made out of material of quality. She knew certain nobles whose shirts didn't look as well made as this man's black shirt.

How interesting.

"W...What do you want?!" She asked with her voice trembling, a rather convenient trick she had learned in order to make her father do what she wanted. Now she just needed to find a way to alert someone that...

"Drop the act will you? It's beneath you." The man said with a roll of his eyes, actually managing to surprise Renner.

"I... I don't understand. What do you..." She stuttered with a frightened look.

"Drop the act or I'll go and kill your puppy." And then the look was gone as this bastard dared to threaten her Climb.

"You would dare?" She snarled, which didn't seem to faze the man at all

"I would." He said with a shrug before taking seat in one of her chairs.

"Honestly, I didn't even need to talk to you. I could have done what I came here for before you even realized there was anything wrong."

"Then why didn't you?" Renner asked with a glare, trying to hide her discomfort. For the first time in her life, she wasn't able to read a person. Most people were nothing more than open books when she wanted to understand them, but this intruder was different. She... she couldn't read him at all.

And that terrified her.

"I was curious. You are the single most intelligent person in this country after all, can't help but wonder what kind of girl you would have become if you actually had morals." He said with a shake of his head as he got up, he didn't sound disappointed though. Only curious.

"Well, about time we dealt with this anyway." He said and then, there was darkness.

The surrounding air itself seemed to become darkness as it rushed at her, before she even realized what was happening; she was bound by the shadowy tendrils. Her mouth covered as she couldn't make any noise and her arms and legs stuck together. All by the tendrils of shadows that were coming out of him.

"Just let it be, it will be easier that way." He whispered into her ear, his voice was so beautiful, before her eyes widened as she felt the tendrils enter her orifices! This wasn't right! This shouldn't be happening! Nothing should be touching her there before Climb!

I believe the fact that I found what was happening at the moment to be amusing says a lot about me.

I wouldn't exactly call myself completely evil, only evil by nature. Which is tempered by nurture, making me a very neutral guy but fortunately for me; I was in a world full of assholes. Assholes that I could make suffer without being truly evil as evil wasn't the action but who the action is aimed at. Assholes like a certain princess who would have poisoned orphans in the canon timeline simply because she was thirsty.

In other words, I had absolutely no issues with making Renner suffer as I captured her.

"Fun experience, wasn't it." I said with a chuckle as the princess slowly raised back up, getting support from the bedpost near her.

"You..." Her eyes were full of loathing, I had changed the setting of her capture after all; her mental adjustments would happen a bit slower than normal. Meaning I could properly watch her suffer.

"Yes, me." I said as I walked up to her, it was adorable how she tried to glare at me. Like a little kitten, or even a puppy if you will.

"Give me one reason not to call the guards." She snarled up at me and I smiled as I raised my finger, and the cloak that made up Renner's clothes that she had gotten as my captured sprang to life around her neck; choking the Golden Princess.

I allowed it to choke her for a while in order to properly send my message.

"I believe that answers your question." I said with a smile while Renner glared at me.

"But for further incentive, a demonstration is in order. Raise your arms." I ordered her, my command sent through the link we had through the cloaks, and she did as I said; her eyes wide with fright.

"Drop them, spread them wide, now do a spin." She did as I ordered each time, fear in her eyes getting more intense with each order.

"Whelp, now that we established that I have control over you; let's give you the final incentive." I said with a clap of my hands.

"Try to go against me in any way, any kind of plot, and I will make you strangle your little puppy with your bare hands."
