Snake Eyes and Black Widow

This is a story of Snake Eyes (GI-Joe) being a operative in the fantastic world of the MCU. Of course, as this is introducing a character from an entirely different universe this story will be an AU. Without further ado, please take a dive through the eyes of Snake. Disclaimer all rights and permissions stay with the original writers and creators. This fan-fic is just to take a spin on what it would be like to have one of my favorite characters in the MCU.

Chapter 18: The Unleashed

The echo of the alarm rang through the cold steel halls of the facility, signaling that their cover was blown. Natasha worked furiously at the console, her fingers a blur as she tried to complete the shutdown sequence. The air was thick with tension as Snake Eyes kept his eyes on the doors, prepared for the inevitable wave of enemies that would descend upon them.

"Almost there," Natasha muttered, her eyes locked on the screen. "We need to—"

Before she could finish, the ground beneath them trembled slightly. Natasha's heart skipped a beat. She glanced at the map of the facility on the screen, and her blood ran cold. The enhanced soldiers were already being activated.

"Snake, we've got a bigger problem," Natasha said, her voice low. "The soldiers—they're waking up."

Snake Eyes nodded sharply, his posture tense. He knew what that meant. They were out of time. The Overseer's enhanced soldiers were no longer a theoretical threat. They were real, and they were about to be unleashed.

"Stark, can you shut them down remotely?" Natasha asked, her voice urgent.

"I'm trying!" Stark replied through the comms, frustration clear in his voice. "They've got backup systems on top of backup systems. I can slow them down, but I can't shut them down from here."

Natasha's mind raced as the sounds of footsteps echoed down the hallway. The reinforcements were closing in. Snake Eyes gave her a quick glance, a silent question in his eyes. Were they going to fight or run?

"We need to disable the soldiers manually," Natasha said, her decision made. "It's the only way."

Snake Eyes nodded, understanding instantly. They would have to fight their way through.

The doors to the command center burst open as a squad of guards stormed in, weapons raised. But Natasha and Snake Eyes were already in motion. Natasha moved with deadly precision, her fists and legs a blur as she took down the first wave of enemies. Snake Eyes followed suit, his katana flashing as he cut through the reinforcements with terrifying efficiency.

The fight was quick but brutal. The guards were well-trained, but they were no match for two of the most lethal operatives in the world. Within moments, the room was littered with unconscious bodies.

"Let's go," Natasha said, breathless but determined.

Together, they sprinted down the hallway toward the heart of the facility. The enhanced soldiers were being stored in a secure underground chamber, a place designed to keep them hidden until they were ready to be deployed. But now, it was the epicenter of the disaster they were trying to prevent.

As they reached the entrance to the underground chamber, Natasha's heart pounded in her chest. The heavy steel doors loomed ahead, sealed shut but humming with energy. Snake Eyes moved to the control panel, his fingers working quickly to override the security lock.

The door slid open with a low hiss, revealing the dimly lit chamber below. Natasha's breath caught in her throat as she saw them—dozens of enhanced soldiers, each one held in a stasis pod, their bodies strapped into high-tech harnesses designed to amplify their strength and abilities. The Overseer's vision of the future, standing silently before them.

"We need to disable them now," Natasha said, her voice hard. "Before they wake up."

Snake Eyes nodded and moved to one of the control stations near the pods. Natasha followed, scanning the area for any signs of movement. The soldiers were still asleep, but the systems were active. It wouldn't be long before they were fully operational.

Suddenly, a voice crackled through the chamber's speaker system. The Overseer's voice.

"You're too late, Romanoff," he said, his tone cold and triumphant. "You can't stop evolution. You can't stop what's coming."

Natasha's heart sank. The Overseer had been watching them the entire time. This was part of his plan. He had let them get this far, knowing they wouldn't be able to stop him.

"Shut them down, Stark!" Natasha shouted into her comms.
