Chapter 2

After a day of walking toward Rocklock Cavern, i managed to spot a small town called Stone Town where they have a small tavern and a few housings which i luckily could get in if i managed to drive away a few slug hounds

"Easy enough," i said "Hahaha, kid many have said that and got their asses whopped!" The tavern miss exclaimed "I'm different" i said proudly "And that too" "Ill show you"

After getting information about where the slug hounds were, i managed to spot an interesting thing that happens

"Haha, the town will submit to me! Cranky Toad! And ill loot those arrogant pieces of shit! And make them suffer!" the muscular Octoad said while the rest of his gang was praising him "Okay… this might be a problem but this should be easy enough for nuke to ambush them but to make them suffer a bit Rocket will also help" i looked at them "Shi shi shi" the two of them happily looked at each other and laughed

Loading the two of them i aimed at the moving gang and…

*BANG!!

"Sh*t ambush!!" the leader exclaimed trying to find cover but thanks to his large body he was hit by nukes attack which luckily with rocket took out the 2 goons "This was easier than i thought" getting close to the barely conscious group "You!! You'll pay for this!!" the leader screamed through his voice "Haha. Tell that to the sheriff" of course, i am bluffing "Besides this recorder has a nice sound inside them"

Their words echoed in the recorder and that got them sweating "Haha, we were just joking right boys?!" the leader kicked the two unconscious guys who sadly for him weren't waking up anytime soon "Yeah, tell that to the authorities" getting the group tied up i 'confiscated' their blasters and slugs, fun fact about slugs most of them ran when their wielders were caught

But of course, since most of them were too weak Nuke intimidated them to stop running

"You guys have a very interesting slug" i see a few slugs that were too uncommon bubbaleone, arachnet, Flaringo, tormato, and a dirt urchin "You guys have descent slugs, why the heck do you guys think of doing crime with them" "Tsk, getting these slugs was troublesome but they are too weak, we thought that by going to a lower town we could've dominated but… you came" "Why? I mean if you guys trained you guys should've had decent strength"

"It takes a lot of time to train slugs! And making them obedient is another matter" the leader screamed "Yeh! We were once upon a time righteous like you but… this world is too cruel" one of the goons cried his eye out

They were right this place is too cruel and because of that most kids HAD to wield slugs, because there might be some unprecedented 'natural' disasters

Disaster caused by slugs, monster stampede, or bandits… that's why getting stronger is a must

"If you guys gave effort you guys might've been a decent slinger" "Tsk, if not for your ambush we would've been free!!" "Yeah, yeah" i exclaimed to their complaints

After passing them to the sheriffs i got rewarded which i could say was a real surprise to me

"AHHAAH kid you deserve it!" "Jeez… thanks sheriff" "AHHAHa it's fine since you took some troublesome slingers" Looking at the rewards i think they might've been a little trouble but hey the rewards that i got are a real shocker

"A thugglet and a Tormato, sweet!" i smiled at the two little slugs "You guys will be great in the future" "Kriiii" the two slugs happily smiled at me

Staying in that village for a few weeks helped me sling better, i mean who wouldn't get better after defeating a lot of those dogs and an occasional slug-typhoon that was caused by some unknown phenomenon

The funny thing about these kinds of phenomena is that they have grades, think about it

A typhoon that has a jellyish would be troublesome to deal with. Then how about a typhoon that has hop rocks? Dirt urchins? Threshers! Dangerous i tell you!

But some typhoons were accepted by all people and those are fandango typhoons since fandangos give energy, they revitalize places that they pass through, and getting a slug from a fandango typhoon has the potential in my theory to get a megamorph fandango

I mean a typhoon must have the speed to produce 200mph right??
