Chapter 15

[Next match: Choi Jong In against Lee Hyun please proceed to the stage]

The teacher announced getting the attention of all students in the whole gym, Choi Jong-In, one of the princes of the school, as I climbed towards the platform I saw a lanky young man with red hair in a curtain hairstyle that is parted over the left side of his right eye.

Though he received the title of Prince, he is weak in terms of fighting since he was a flame user, he was weaker than Cha Hae-In but that doesn't change the fact that he was a powerful hunter.

Both of us looked at each other and he smiled, we may not be close but we do know ow each other, like him, I'm also a fire user, though through the monsters I ate because almost all of the monsters I ate were fire elements or something.

I'm having a suspicion that the gates are having some monster shortage or something since this year a few gates only have appeared in Korea.

[The first one to give up or either unable to move will lose the match, now start!]

Choi Jong-In snapped his finger and a small flame appeared on his fingers his eyes glowed bright magenta while I just bumped both of my fists and flames appeared, if you are thinking I was avoiding attention but why am I fighting a prince like Choi Jong-In?

Well, sorry to break it but even though I avoid attention, some people still know me and those who knew will definitely call me Corrupted Flames, yes, I'm known as a flame user, well, I didn't really mind since it didn't get me too much attention.

But one thing is known, flame users tend to avoid me.

*Boom!

I was engulfed by flames as Choi Jong-In threw me a fireball but I just waved it away with a simple sway of my hand.

*Swoosh!

"Still not a scratch huh..." Choi Jong-In sighed in disappointment as he saw my unscathed appearance, I don't know what but ever since this guy knew I was immune to flames, he always tried his best to burn, he is a good guy but he still has pride in his flames.

Well, whatever. I charged towards him with my fists enveloped by flames, I like to call this fire fist, as I charged towards him, he started throwing more fire attacks towards me, it may not affect me but I know every attack became more powerful.

I didn't use my fast speed to get close to him but only bulldozed towards him at a normal speed, when I reached, I immediately punched forward, Choi Jong-In moved fast and crossed his arms forward to receive my punch.

*Boom!

A loud explosion came from my fists as it hit him, he was sent flying away outside the arena ut he reacted fast and let out flames from his hands to stop himself from flying off the stage.

'He had improved'

In my last fight with him, he was sent flying away with a single punch, but this time, I got to give him that, well, let's see how can he take the second, I charged towards him again but this time he didn't barrage me with flame skills.

He distanced himself far away from me and started gathering flames in his palms.

'Interesting'

He looked like he was going to release a Kamehameha only that it was flames and he was not yelling like the main characters from that anime, I charged towards him but this time a little slower, I want to see how powerful this attack will be.

As I crossed halfway, he finished his loading and fired it towards me in a powerful way, I swear I saw a figure of a dragon in those flames as it engulfed me in flames, it continued all the way to the stands but it was immediately stopped by some kind of barrier.

But those outside could still feel the temperature rose.

"Amazing, such an intense flame! as expected of prince Choi!!"

"Lee Hyun must have been burned with that right!"

"Is Choi Jong-In finally able to penetrate Lee Hyun!?"

"Hey who said that!? don't dirty my mind!"

Everyone reacted seeing this exciting fight, the battle of Choi Jong-IN and Lee Hyun is not a secret, it was even considered as one of the events in the school since Lee Hyun, Flame Tank has never been defeated by a flame user.

Only Choi Jong-In was the one trying to beat him, they all have their expectation as they saw this match but as the flames disappeared, they the tired Choi Jong-In and Lee Hyun who was standing near him.

[Winner of the match: Student Lee Hyun]

The teacher announced, Choi Jong-In sighed as he lost once again, he stood up a little dejected.

"Nice try Prince Choi you can do it again next time!"

"Don't give up Prince Choi!"

"You will be able to Defeat Lee Hyun soon!"

Words of encouragement were shouted by the students, Choi Jong-In smiled and felt a little better with their cheers and waved his hands, his girl fans yelped as they saw him wave.

"Great... Now I'm the bad guy"

I muttered to myself, well not like I really care, as I return to my seat, I passed by Cha Hae-In who gave me a nod, oh, she was next, I thought, well, I'm not really interested, since I finished my match, I decided to skip.

Underground somewhere in Busan, people wearing black robes gathered around in a dark place, the light was swaying left and really not doing its work, the figures wore white masks that covered their whole face.

"How is the progress?"

A deep voice resounded in the room.

"We are now at 50% of the research, it is estimated that it will be finished by 2 or 3 years"

"I see, then we can wait, by then we can finally take down these guilds, we the laughing shadows will rule Korea and the world"

Writing 5 books is really difficult haha, anyway, I just want to say that, after this book, the next fanfic will be either SAO fanfic or the Multiverse Internet cafe, but I'm leaning more on the Multiverse but I can do something about the Sao maybe release it a month later after the Multiverse btw this book also has a life span of 60 chapters just like my other fanfics, only Multiverse will last very long, well, that's all enjoy <3

Also, a follow-up for the FL: I'm thinking of going to an OC or just go for a character?
