30 Meeting With Aunt Claudia

"I will be gone for roughly two hours. I want to get back before she wakes up but if she wakes before I return do no cause her harm and I will hope that she does not cause you any harm in return. As I said she doesn't remember you. So do keep that in mind." Cedric turns and looks at Claude.

"If she attacks me I will be understanding. I am not worried about her attacking me as I trust you will arrive before she awakes. Be safe and I await your return." Claude watches Cedric as he leaves.

"Alright, I will see you again in a few hours." Cedric leaves the room and heads down the hall back to the car. "Royce we are heading out. I have to head over to that place." He gets in the back of the car and sighs.'I really do not want to go to this company but I do not have much of a choice. I am almost certain that I will be attacked again. Why must my uncle who is dead still have sway over the people? My family does not exist in this world and all I want is to do my translating jobs I do not want to be involved in the outside family business.' He sighs unhappily.

Claude hears the car leave and gets up. 'His family called him back at this time. If he hadn't been targeted by them before I would think this attack was random. If he had never gotten involved with the princess of vampires then he would be leading a simple life. Everyone has hidden motives. I have sworn to protect him for the rest of my life. Even though I act aloof with him at times there is nothing more I would rather do than guard him and now the princess has returned I have even more of a reason to guard them both. I wonder what kind of task the Okami clan will give him this time?' He gets up and walks to the bedroom and looks at the door. 'I miss Ryan and Luna but at least Yuki is safe once again. I am grateful Cedric was the one that she fell for.' There was a sound of breaking glass coming from the bedroom so he slowly opens the door and sees the curtain fluttering. He grabs the intruder and drags him out of the room. "Wrong place." Claude breaks the guy's neck and then goes into the room and tacs the curtain to the wall so the sunlight is kept out of the room.

Another person breaks down the front door and rushes to Claude. "You! I thought the house didn't have any guards?"

"Heh. You got the wrong information chicky." Claude knocks her unconscious and ties her to a chair in the hallway. 'A female assassin is rather rare. I will treat this one well as I like to break the females more than males. I was told I was allowed to have more subjects to get information from. This one already told me some of what I needed to know without even really trying. This will be a fun time.' He watches the door and heads to the study and kills the next intruder.

Cedric reaches the company and walked in the door. The receptionist smiles sweetly at him. "Good afternoon Okami Sir. We have been expecting you. The madam is in her office. Please follow me up." She bows to him and then leads him to the elevator.

Cedric follows her into the elevator and Royce waits in the lobby for his return. "It's been a while since you last gave me a report Sophia."

"Sorry, it has been hard to get away from the company." She leans over and touches his cheek. "Since you found her again you will no longer be needing my help. I can smell the chocolates on you but there is no lust in your eyes. As for the company, there is a lot going on in the shadows. I will be able to give my report later tonight." The doors open and she leads him to the door of the office and she knocks on the door and then opens the door. "Please enjoy your stay." She stands at the side of the door.

Cedric steps inside the office and looks at his aunt. "Claudia, what do you need from me at this time? You know that I am quite busy with my own work."

"You are next in line of the Okami clan and there is nothing you can do about that. You may have forgotten your past but you are engaged. I am now telling you that you have to find her before someone else does. I got word that some breached your fiance's house. I do not know who it was until I had some people go and check it out but to my surprise, no one has returned. Tell me, have your memories returned?"

"I keep telling you that I have no idea what you are talking about memory loss. I do not remember getting engaged." Cedric kept a straight cold face.

"I hear you bought a slave. Did you break it already? I know that you ate the chocolates." Claudia looks at Cedric in anticipation. She ignores his answers

"Is my buying a slave of any importance to you? I need a new way to relieve myself every once in a while. Just because I ate the chocolates does not mean I broke her...yet." He smiles evilly, "as for the chocolates I decided to eat them earlier than I had planned to. There is nothing more to it. I have to eat them regardless."

Claudia gets a chill down her spine at the look on Cedric's face. 'It doesn't look like he is lying at this time but the reports say that someone approached the vampire mansion. The only one I know of that could do so is Yuki or Cedric. Unless the princess was the one that came out of hiding?' She glances back over at Cedric, "It really doesn't matter if you break a slave at least it doesn't matter to me. I was merely curious."

"Can you get to the point of this meeting? I have a lot that I still have to get done and I don't have spare time to be dawdling in your office." Cedric glare at Claudia as if she was useless and unworthy of his time.

"You're uncle has set up a marriage interview for you since you do not have a partner yet. This is in preparation of your ascension of the Okami clan. You need to have a bride of equal or better status and since you do not have anyone at this time we would like to introduce you to a nice girl." Claudia is unable to look into his eyes. 'It's better for us that he does not remember her. I can use that to our advantage.'
