The sound of sirens rings in your ears as police cars speed past toward the end of the street, joining the barricade that has been set up outside of a large corner supermarket.

Crowds of onlookers stand behind the cars, their eyes fixed at the scene developing before them. Many have their smartphones and cameras already in their hands and start to take pictures of you, while others clap and cheer.

While you might not be as famous as some of the more powerful enhanced humans on the planet, you have already made a bit of a name for yourself by saving a couple of children from inside a burning building.

Some of the doors you opened while you were looking for something to steal inside the building helped the kids escape the fire. You didn't manage to find much money inside, but were surprised when the photographers outside started taking pictures of you. Somehow, they thought you were a hero, and newspapers also started treating you as such.

This suits you just fine at the moment, and has helped you get away with robbing a few petty criminals of their spoils. Even that has made you look like a vigilante in the eyes of some, including many in the police.

However, you've never faced another enhanced human yet, and the prospect of a fight excites and worries you in equal measure.
