The Beginning of the Adventure

Emily's POV:

"Emily, after school, I want to take you somewhere."

Elliot said this with a serious expression during the noon break. I became curious about where he would take me.

True to his word, after school, he took me to a place.

"Wow... it's so beautiful. I didn't know there was a place this beautiful in town. How long have you known about this place, Elliot?" I exclaimed excitedly because the place we were in was truly breathtaking.

"I've known about it for a while. Whenever I'm bored, I come here."

I wasn't lying when I said the place was beautiful. Just standing there, I could see the entire cityscape. Besides, the surroundings were filled with blooming flowers of various kinds. Amidst my admiration for the place, Elliot's voice brought me back to reality.

"Emily, there's something I want to tell you."

"What is it?"
