The next morning, Jake sat inside his room on his high-back chair, listening to the priests who were kneeling on the floor below.
''My Lord, there are no virgin girls left.''
''Hmm, I know. It's been more than a month. How are the believers in the villages?'' Jake asked.
The three priests Noah, John and Carlson looked at each other. They all said in unison: ''We have successfully converted them, Lord.''
''Good, good.'' Jake stood up from his chair and paced around on the raised floor.
As the villagers were worshiping the 'Lord' instead of the 'God', people coming from other places wouldn't know what was happening that easily.
Jake was planning to add a cult leader now, but no one around him qualified for that position. He wanted a 2nd Circle Priest at the very least. With the cult leader, he could manipulate the villagers more.
