Chapter 8 : Rescuing beauty
Seeing what happened in front of her, Yuki could only remain silent, feeling as if he had done something both reckless and crazy.
How could it not be crazy? Just look at that strange creature with the old man's head, how could Yuki bear the consequences if that strange creature went berserk and attacked Yuki. Although yuki was sure he wouldn't die just to face such a wild demon.
Seriously, even yuki thought that if she could turn back time, he would definitely slap herself very hard for her own carelessness.
But as the saying goes, never scrounge for milk. But whatever the outcome now was the result of the actions he had decided in the past, so Yuki could not directly blame others for her current misfortune.
Of course it would be a big problem if that strange creature decided to go on a rampage and start attacking Yuki blindly. Moreover, this house was the only gift from her parents who were currently living far away from her.

"Kekeke... let's start the game" with that sentence that had been dropped, a giant tentacle quickly smashed yuki's room into rubble in the blink of an eye.
Jumping out right before the tentacle hit his, yuki spun her spear to deflect several bullets composed of white webs that shot towards her quickly.
Stopping each of the monster's attacks, yuki paused for a moment before looking back at her poor room that had been reduced to rubble, seeing all that in front of her eyes, yuki couldn't help but feel a great pain when she saw her only home being destroyed right in front of her eyes.
Staring at the strange monster with eyes filled with hatred, yuki began to run round towards Utaha who was still sitting limply in place helplessly.
Even though yuki was not the type of person who would jeopardise her own life to help others, yuki still couldn't see Senior Beautiful (Ehem*) I mean seeing others die in front of her without being able to do anything to prevent it from happening.
Approaching utaha quickly, yuki started talking again.
"Will it be alright?" yuki asked.
"I-I" in a low and slightly hoarse voice, utaha tried to answer yuki's question precisely.
Staring at utaha's eyes that seemed to have found a ray of hope in the midst of despair, yuki spoke again.
"Sorry" by saying that, yuki immediately carried utaha on his back and immediately shot quickly to run away from the monster's fury.
Seeing yuki and utaha's quick departure, the monster deployed its octopus tentacles to prevent all escape attempts made by yuki.
*Bruak* Bruak*
With the amount of damage done at every step taken by the monster, yuki continued to run away from the residential area to minimise the number of unnecessary casualties.
Running away from the densely populated area, Yuki found a large tree with shady branches and leaves on it.
Laying utaha gently under the large tree, yuki immediately turned around while looking at the strange monster that was getting closer. Holding her long spear, yuki immediately ran around the strange monster by occasionally deflecting the white net bullets shot from the strange monster.
*Clang*
Attacking one of the monster's legs, Yuki's body was immediately hit by a huge tentacle slash that knocked Yuki 10 metres away.
"Uhuk! Uhuk! Damn I was careless, I probably broke a few ribs" wiping the little blood that came out of her mouth yuki held his long spear again.
"Kekeke is this the power you boast of o human? Do you think with such weak power you can defeat me? Inferior creatures like you are too much delusional hehehe" the strange monster said with a face full of mockery to yuki.
"He~ do you think I'm serious? I'm not! What you just faced was only 10 per cent of my original strength" Yuki said arrogantly even though blood was flowing from his temples.
Seeing the arrogant expression of Yuki, the strange monster smiled even more happily, lifting all ten of its octopus tentacles into the free air, slowly the cold air in the area less than 10 metres from the monster began to compress and instantly destroyed the surrounding ground into a small crater with a depth of less than 3 metres.
Seeing the extent of the damage the monster had caused Yuki frowned for a moment before sensing the great danger approaching.
With a quick reaction yuki immediately jumped away from where the monster was, but right when yuki jumped backwards to get away from the monster, yuki had to be faced with ten huge tentacles that rushed towards his at high speed.
*Brak!!!* with a loud sound, the ten huge tentacles shattered the place where yuki was standing, while the impact of the impact instantly threw yuki away.
"Ugh!"
