Little Lily in the meeting room part 2

"Yes, Daddy." Little Lily chirped, wiping her tears with her tiny hands.

Lara, who was distracted by Simon's handsomeness, was now amazed by the bond that the father and daughter have, and it only made her like him more.

"Aunty, let's go and play now. I want to show you my playroom." Lily said that her new aunty is going to play with her.

Lara was about to say yes, but she remembered that she still had work to do, plus the working hours hadn't finished yet. Before she could speak, Simon beat her.

"You can take the rest of the day off, I'll call Mr Stoll and inform him." Simon said as he stood up and added."Follow me."

Lowering little Lily on her feet gently, Lara stood up and took Lily's hand, following Simon out of the meeting room.

Walking ahead of them he took the first turn and as he walked he heard the soft clicking of Lara heels, turning to look behind him, his eyes met hers for a moment before he looked ahead of him again, heading towards his office. A smile appeared on his face that Lara couldn't see.

She's so short. Simon thought to himself.

When they reached the office door, Simon opened the door for them and waited for Lara and Lily to enter first, then he entered and closed the door behind him

"Lily will show the room." Simon spoke to Lara and then looked at Lily and squatted down to her level and said."If you need anything, I'll be right here. Don't eat too much chocolate."

"Yes, Daddy." Lily replied, kissing her father's cheek, and then she turned to Aunty Lara.

Lara felt touched watching this heartwarming moment between the father and the daughter and she wondered where Lily's mother was and thinking about this made Lara realize that Simon could be a divorced man or a widower or maybe it was just a fling that resulted in Lily being born out of it. But who is that woman that the famous Simon Hart stayed single after her.

"Aunty, come, let me show you my playroom." Lily gripped Lara hand and pulled her towards the closed white door and pushed open, revealing a pink colored room.

Lara stepped inside the room and looked around her in awe, the room was literally every little girl's dream, from the pink painted walls to the pink stuffed animal, a large Barbies collection, pink bed and also pink quilt, even the curtains were pink.

"You have a beautiful room, Lily." Lara said, sitting on the bed next to her."Did you decorate it?" She asked, running her fingers through the little girl's soft hair.

"Daddy did. I only said that I wanted a big pink room and they gave me two, one here and one in our villa, but my room there is bigger." Lily explained, showing her with her tiny hand how big her room is.

"Hmm, my daddy seems to love a lot," Lara said, patting Lily's head.

"Yes, and I love him too." Little Lily replied.

Me too. Lily to herself.

The thought of being close to him yet so far made her both excited and sad, but she reminded herself that she must not do anything inappropriate for now, but soon he will be hers.

"Now come show your Barbie collocation." Lara said, pointing at the Lily collocation.

Outside Lily's room, Simon was sitting behind his desk doing his work and looking at the computer screen from time to time, watching Lily through the hidden camera in her room, making sure that the Lara doesn't mean no harm or have bad intentions towards his baby girl.

He had put this camera in Lily's room to watch the nanny's behavior after Lily told him that the nanny was stealing her dolls and toys but later on he found out that Lily I'd lying because she doesn't like her nanny because she's a bit of a strict person.

Putting down the documents in his hands, Simon turned to look at the computer screen, and Lily riding Lara back, and he laughed, shaking his head hopelessly. His daughter must have forced her to do that.

"You shouldn't do that, Lily." Simon mumbled to himself while watching Lara going back and forth on her hands and knees.

Simon found his eyes tracing Lara's body unconsciously and noticed how short she was, and the thing that couched his interest was how small her waist was. She's too thin, he noted, and too short. He was positive that in five years' time, Lily would be taller than her.

Simon wondered why Lara is treating Lily with all this kindness, he doesn't want to mess understand her intentions but that doesn't mean that shouldn't be careful, Lily is too young to notice that any stranger might try to hurt her and that's where his role as father come, he needs to protect her and make sure that no one try hurt her.

Trying the volume on a bit, Simon put the headphones on to listen to what they're saying.

"Go faster aunty, you're a very slow horse." Lily said, complaining.

"This old slow horse can't run anymore." Lara said, breathing heavily.

She hadn't slept in two days. She was both tired and exhausted, and she still had to finish the unfinished workloads that she left to play with her.

"Sweety, your auntie is tired. Can you give your auntie a break?" Lara said as she lowered herself so that Lily could lower herself off her back.

"But I want to play more." Little Lily complained.

Lara sighed and sat on the ground beside and pulled Lily in her lap."Sweety, You need to understand that we grown ups spend a long time working and sometimes we don't get to sleep." She tried to explain to her in the simplest way she could.

Little Lily scratched her head with her small hands, thinking about what her auntie just told her.

"Does daddy work for a long time, too?" Lily asked, finally realizing why her daddy stays up all night long and doesn't go to sleep.
