Revelations

My body feels cold. I can't feel anything at all, why is it so dark? Where am I? What happened? All I could remember is that dark dark room and the feeling that I have been there before. What was this sensation though? Why was my magic attribute listed as Unknown and why was my name the only one written in red ink? I have so many questions but no answers to them. It is if I had hit a roadblock. What happened to all the people in the church I hope they are doing okay. MY DAD. Is he okay? He has to be I saw him carrying me before I had knocked out. No worries hopefully everything is fine it looks as if I am probably still sleeping. Let me enjoy this feeling a bit more...

??? - "Toyama, Wake up son. Its been three days you're starting to worry us here."

??? - "Sirio honey, the doctor told us to let him rest now and not disturb him while he sleeps."

Sirio - "I know honey but I'm really worried about him."

Toyama - "Huh... Where am I? Dad? Mom?"

Sirio - "Toyama don't worry we're right here with you by your side right now"

Scarlet - "Yeah don't worry Toyama your dad and I are right here with you. You must be really hungry let me go make something for you in the kitchen. I'll be right back."

Toyama - "Dad is everyone at the church alright? I didn't hurt them did I?"

Sirio - "Don't worry they are all okay. There were only minor damages done at the church but Priest Michael told us he would take care of those."

I felt relieved that everyone was safe. I felt as if a heavyweight was lifted from my shoulders. I didn't know what I would do to myself if anyone got hurt.

Sirio - "Katsumi came by earlier. She was really worried about you and wanted to know how you were doing. She came to drop off some food in hopes to see if you had wakened up."

Toyama - "Oh really, I'm glad she's doing alright, my head hurts and I don't remember much from what happened at the ceremony which is a bummer"

Sirio - "Yeah the ceremony..."

At that moment it was like an air of despair came across the room. The mood had fallen and I didn't know what to say.

Sirio - "Everyone left and I was the only one their to view the whole thing. It was really nerve-wracking seeing you like that. First, let me see your pendant."

I showed him my pendant. The whole experience was definitely real, the pendant was glowing a silver color and had two colors in the center stone.

Sirio - "Yeah as I expected..."

The concern on my dad's face grew even more than before and I started getting even more confused.

Toyama - "What's wrong dad?"

Sirio - "Listen to me well Toyama, you will keep the pendant hidden and will never show it to anyone. This pendant is proof that the prophecy does indeed exist."

Toyama - "Prophecy?"

Sirio - "Yes the prophecy. I will explain it more to you later but we can't tell your mother as well or else she will be in danger."

As soon as I heard that my heart dropped. I'll be putting the lives of people in danger if they hear this? What was this prophecy that he was talking about?

Toyama - "Dad why is this happening?

Sirio - "Don't worry it will all come into place sooner or later. Right now all I can say is that we need you to practice harboring your magic skills. Currently you possess shadow magic but it isn't going to be the only magic attribute you possess in your life. Next year you will develop light magic as well and after that you will develop star magic."

Star magic? What was that? I had never heard of this star magic before. And I possess shadow and light magic. I was starting to get very confused and my head started to hurt as well.

Sirio - "There is one magic attribute that is also left to harbor but when the time is right you will soon see it develop. I know for sure you are really confused so I'll give you a little bit of information on star magic. Around 5000 years ago the people wandering the earth discovered the elemental powers of different regions. They managed to successfully find mana and use this as magic. One day a greedy emperor rose and threatened to steal all the mana from humanity to become very powerful. He succeeded and with this he had become a demon, after 25 hard years of his tyrannical rule a group of people who have said to been controlling the stars managed to destroy the demon ruler and restore peace among the kingdom. They were called the Star Setters."

Toyama - "Star Setters? and why haven't I heard about this before?"

Sirio - "The reason is because after they took down the demon king his soul managed to form with one of the Star Setters and hid within them. After a while he slowly killed off every single one of them but framed it to make it look like they died on active duty. The result of this would later confuse the people and so he went to change his appearance, never to be seen again."

Toyama - "Wait, but why do I have this so called star magic as well if im not related to them."

Sirio - "Your soul is the reincarnation from the leader of the Star Setters. He led the group to peace and fought the demon king. He was the last one to die at the hand of his fellow partner and his soul finally re-incarnated. Rumors speculate that the current king is the same demon king as before from the stories. Although many people have forgotten this, there are a small select few people who worship this devil king and they follow a cardinal from each group they are in. It is your job now to protect the kingdom and bring down all the people who are planning to do harm in the nation. You are the one who will bring light to our world."

With what my father had said I was ultimately shocked. I couldn't speak or move at all. If people were really suffering out there I wanted to help them no wonder us people from outside the capital can never enter other regions from the same kingdom. A lot of fishy stuff is going on and will uncover all of it. I made up my mind, I will train hard and protect this kingdom and bring all the people who harm others to justice.

??? - "So how was it did you see the results?"

??? - "Yes my lord, I have seen the results in the trial and as you expected it came out positive. He is the child you have been looking for."

??? - "Hmm...This truly is fantastic, after all these years of hunting and looking around I have finally found who I've been looking for. Katsumi dear I hope you aren't mistaking here and picked up the wrong boy."

Katsumi - "No my lord, it is him. His pendant changed color within the ritual. There is a lot that we must prepare for but his life will soon finally be in your hands to deal with. After all you are the demon king, Lord Algieba"

Algieba - "Yes indeed, we must start preparations of his capture. Continue being nice with him and when I command you shall strike and seize him."

Katsumi - "Very well my lord, I will not disappoint you"

With that the shadow of the girl soon disappeared. This may be the last night Toyama may ever feel peace in a while.
