"I never said we were going..." Alec says giving me a look. "We can't just leave these people out there," I say returning the look. Alec seems torn as he says "We don't even know if they're still alive... going out there may be a waste of time and it would be putting us all in danger." Alec says making me frown.

"Even if they aren't alive, we should at least check. We need to know what's out there." I say standing my ground. Alec looks like he wants to argue but he bites his tongue. "How many of our people went missing?" I ask turning to Nero.

Nero looks to Alec with a somewhat guilty look before turning back to me "Ten..." Nero says quietly making me frown yet again. "What aren't you telling me?" I ask with a glare. Nero looks to Alec yet again. I turn to look at Alec in question.
