"They wanted to help the City get more supplies and they wanted to look for any signs of you and Remi," Alec says still looking ahead. I frown at him and say "You knew they were out there looking for me and went missing because of it and you still wanted to leave them out there?"

Alec finally looks away from the road and I meet his dark eyes with a look of confusion. "You are the only one I truly worry about Kitten. The rest can wait." He says with a low voice before turning to look back at the road. I feel my frown growing at his words...

"So you don't care if others are in trouble and in need of help?" I ask with disbelief. "The whole world can go up and flames and I could care less as long as you are safe and happy." My mouth drops open in disbelief as he says "But, I know how much you care about others so I will do my best to save as many people as possible to make you happy."
