Chapter 37

EVERYBODY's eyes followed to where Sera was looking and they were all now looking at the same person.

"What are you saying Mis-"

"You know full well of what i am saying Sylvester! I heard you! I heard everything! From the beginning till the end! Every words and letters that escaped through your damn filthy mouth, i clearly heard it!"

Naja who was still being carried by Griffin on his back came down and slowly went near Caious. Griffin even tried to stop her, but Naja was persistent and wanted to see Sera clearly, Griffin had no choice but to follow behind her sister.

The Naraka's who were busy crawling and reaching for Sera's feet finally acknowledged their presence and started attacking them.

Sylvester smirked and then started to laugh mockingly, his gentle looking eyes became sharp, his fangs and claws revealing, showing them a different side of the person they thought they knew.

"What is the meaning of this Sylvester?!" Caious screamed loosing his cool as the man in front of them scoffed and laughed at them.

"Yes! Sera i killed your mother! There is no such thing as an accident that happened on that faithful day, hahahaha the mortified expression on your mothers face was enough to fuel the thirst for blood that i was feeling, it was as if a cold bucket of water being poured down on a drought land. It satisfied me to the bones, i tell you." Sera was shaking in anger as Sylvester continues to narrate the things he had done to their mother.

Silas and Aiden were also both shaking, griping their fist so tight their knuckles were as white as paper.

"I'll kill you," Sera said as the flames surrounding her went berserk burning the Naraka's beneath her feet, some tried to escape her flames and started to attack those below.

"Sure Sera i would like to see how you would do that!"

"Scum!" Caious screamed as he dashed in front of Sylvester, pulled his katana and swung his sword near its throat.

"Wooaah! Careful there, you almost slit my throat! Hahaha!"

"Then slit your throat i shall!" Caious once again swung his sword with full of strength, the feeling of betrayal and disappointment weighing from his chest was being sent to his arms as he swung it on the air with his sharp blade.

"Naja!" Griffin hurriedly run towards his petrified sister.

"Stay out of sight! The Naraka's are having a rampage and Sera is out of control! She might not recognize you and simply blow you off with a single attack! Do you understand Naja?! I know that you want to help Sera, but her mind is still clouded at the mean time." Griffin was griping her shoulder tightly as he shake her back to her senses.

"I'm scared," she said as she held her brothers hand on her shoulder using her shaking cold hands, Naja glanced on to where Sera was and a lone tear escaped her eyes.

"Sera," she hated seeing Sera so full of rage, disappointment and grief but she hated Sylvester even more, for betraying her best friend, her cousin.

Her chest felt heavy, her eyes clouded with her tears and anger, Naja picked a rock as big as her fist and started throwing at Sylvester who was also busy fighting with Caious.

"Naja stop!" Griffin quickly stopped Naja.

Sylvester's laughing voice echoed as he throw a sharp glance at Naja who was being stopped by his brother.

"How quaint, why stop her Griffin? Come on, let her throw some pebble at me with her little flimsy arms." He laughed again, while he kept on avoiding Caious aggressive attacks.

Sera's eyes blazed even more, the flames surrounding her beginning to form into feathers, half of her body ingulfed by her own flames.

Her hair glowed in crimson red, flowing like a magma. Sera opened her mouth, releasing a loud shriek making them cover their ears.

Finally, Six pair of radiant burning wings appeared on her back, one pair covered her feet, another that covers her face and the other so she could fly.

Everyone gawk at Sera.

"W-what is that?"

'Seraphim'

Caious mumbled, Sera's overflowing powers surrounding them. The narakas beneath her burned as her wing flapped on her place.

"Everyone quickly!! Retreat! Retreat!!" Caious screamed at the top of his lungs, running away from Sera.

Sylvester laughed at the sight of Sera's final form, not minding his skin burning from the scorching heat her wings released in every flapp.

"Such beauty! Yes M'lady! BURN us all! Save us from our sins!"

"His lost it! He's crazy!" Silas screamed at Sylvester who was now kneeling on the ground with open arms, looking up to Sera.

"Sera!!" Naja cried out, reaching out for Sera.

"Naja No!" Griffin stopped her again,

"We can't leave her like this! Caious do something!!" Caious only lowered his head in shame, none of them know what to do. They had never handled a Seraphim loosing control.

"We need to get away from here or else we all die! Sera won't like it if she finds out that she had done something to hurt you Naja, please!" Griffin begged holding both of her hands.

Naja slowly nodded her head, Griffin then carried her and started running away from Sera's destructive state.

Caious run towards Sylvester who was busy looking at Sera's form and knocked him out using the handle of his katana.

He then dragged him out of the forest with them as they ran as fast as they can, away from Sera's blazing heat, every naraka that attempts to reach over to her burned to ashes.

"You have to explain everything in detail to us Caious, what the hell is happening to our sister?" Aiden asked, very confused.

"I'll explain everything later, once we've reached Kenna's house, for now we have to stay away from Sera. Her emotions are driving her now, we can't talk sense into her nor get close to her right now. But I hope, he knows what to do with his own daughter." Everyone's eyebrows knitted.

"By HE you mean Sera's father right?" Naja asked.

"Yes,"

"You know where he is?" Aiden asked.

"Yes, he's the one who brought us here. He was the one who choose us."

"Where is he?" Silas seemed to be impatient as he ran pass the tress.

"At the temple," he said, looking at Naja.
