9 9 Life in the Academy 2
Academy life was boring for Shigeo since he was already at the level of genin. Not only that since he already had knowledge up to high school level he breezed subjects like math and history since he just needed to memorize things.
This led to him being called a genius which was hell for Shigeo. Because of his good looks and title of genius he, like the Uchiha had his own fair share of fan girl problems.
He was considered to be the top of his class no matter what subject it was. Due to his observation Haki he always won his spars and got perfect scores when throwing kunai or shuriken.
After a year, at his second year in the academy he was soon transferred to class A along with a promising girl which was the same girl with pink hair he saw years ago. Although she apparently wasn't good physically but she was quite smart so she too was moved out of class C.

Now Shigeo stood in front of class A along with Sakura Hurano, the girl with pink hair.
"Alright everyone, I wanted to introduce you with new classmates. They were transfered out from their class to join this class because this is the more advanced classes" the teacher, Iruka Umino told the class.
The rest of the class got intrigued because this meant that the two joining their class meant that they were better than their peers from the other class. The some boys looked at Shigeo and thought that he might be a challenge whereas the few of the girls looked at him with blushes.
It seemed as they heard of him before as he had the title of genius and was told to be as good looking as Sasuke Uchiha. As for Sakura Hurano the girls just looked at her to see if she was a new rival for the affection of Sasuke or the newly added Shigeo.
"Alright everyone calm down, you two please introduce yourselves" Iruka said.
Shigeo just nodded as he spoke lazily " Shigeo Murakami, age 9. Please take care of me" He said as he bowed slightly.
"My name is Sakura Hurano. Please take care of me as well" She said as she also bowed.
"Alright, you two may find somewhere to sit as we start our class" Iruka said as the two nodded. Shigeo then looked around to try to find a place to sit before he saw Choji waving at him at the back.
He brightened up slightly as he went to sit in between Choji and Shikamaru. Of course his actions were caught by some of the class who wondered why he who was considered a 'genius' sat with the seemingly 'dead lasts' of the class.

"Yo, you being called a genius huh. People are going to question why you are hanging out with us" Shikamaru said.
"Shut up, don't remind me it's too troublesome" Shigeo said as he sighed.
Shikamaru looked at some of the girls looking over at Shigeo and smirked a little "Yeah I bet"
Soon after their conversation the teacher told them to go outside and be prepared to throw shuriken and kunai before finishing the class with a spar against other students.

Outside Shigeo along with four others stood side by side as they had kunai in hand. In front of them were targets needed to hit.
"Alright, ready get set go!" Iruka said as all the students threw their kunai's.
Shigeo only looked at the target before he lazily threw all of the kunai between his fingers towards the target, all hitting perfect scores. This was because he hit the bullseye so much in his previous year that he already memorized the way to throw kunai easily.
"Good Shigeo Murakami scores perfect, Ryota Kukuri scores 4/8, Kyoko Tachibana scores 6/8, etc.." Iruka said as he told the scores for the students.
Soo after a new batch went forward and Shigeo saw that Sasuke Uchiha was also there along with Shino Aburame. He looked to see that the Uchiha scored a perfect as well and the Aburame scored a 7/8.
Soon the next batch came and there was Naruto, Shikamaru, Choji, as well as the loud Inuzuka and the shy Hyuga girl.
Though he noticed that Naruto's kunai's looked to be more worn out than the rest of the classes. He saw that Naruto scored a 2/8, Shikamaru with a 5/8, Choji with 4/8, the Inuzuka with a 6/8 while the Hyuga scored a perfect.
He narrowed his eyes slightly as he knew that the teachers were giving Naruto sabotaged tools on purpose though he didn't voice his opinion out or else he too might be targeted. Maybe he would tell that to the adults he knew like Shikamaru's dad or Choji's dad if he were to visit them.
After that they all switched over to throwing shuriken and more or less got the same results. With Sasuke Uchiha and Shigeo along with Hinata Hyuga getting perfect scored.

"Alright everyone now we will do a sparring session" Iruka said.

Naruto Uzumaki vs Shikamaru Nara: Naruto won due to Shikamaru forfeiting
Hinata Hyuga vs Shino Aburame: Shino Won
Shigeo Murakami vs Sasuke Uchiha
...
"Alright everyone, the last match will be against Shigeo Murakami vs Sasuke Uchiha. Now both of you do the seal of confrontation"
Shigeo and Sasuke stood in front of each other as they did as Iruka said and did the seal of confrontation.
Just before they started Shigeo used appraisal on Sasuke.

'Hmm, He is weaker than my status from last year' Shigeo thought.
Nodding Iruka then began the match "Now begin!"
Just after Iruka said begin Sasuke rushed towards Shigeo and sent kick to his head but Shigeo only smiled before he caught Sasuke's foot and threw him on the ground. Just as Sasuke was about to get back up he felt Shigeo pin his arm on his back as he had him locked down.
Sasuke gritted his teeth as he tried to get loose but before he could he hear Iruka's voice
"Winner: Shigeo Murakami!" The teacher said as Shigeo released Sasuke.
"Good now both of you do the seal of reconciliation" Iruka said as Sasuke begrudgingly done so.
Their class soon ended after Iruka explained that losing was part of life and it helps a person grow stronger.
