Aurora stared at him with wide eyes.
"You just stole my first kiss!" Xavier rolled his eyes.
"I don't know why you sound so offended, I should be the one offended here" Aurora stared in disbelief.
"I'm sorry, what?" Xavier turned to her.
"Do you know how many people would die just to have my lips on theirs? Kissing a being like you is a downgrade to me" Aurora was utterly speechless.
"I…. You… I…. Ughhh. I'll make you regret saying that" She picked up the scissors from the ground then turned to him with a crazy smile on her face.
Xavier's eyes widened slightly as she inched towards him.
"Why do you have that scary look on your face? Don't you dare touch my hair or I swear…" Xavier suddenly froze mid sentence and his eyes turned cold which made Aurora pause with furrowed eyebrows.
"Is something wrong? I wasn't really going to do anything to you, I just wanted to …"
"Your parents, they know you're here" The Scissors fell out of Aurora's hand as she stared at Xavier in shock.
"What? How? I need to leave right now or else…."
"You can't leave, they're already here" Before Aurora could say anything, Her father and mother barged into the cave looking livid. Their eyes were glowing yellow and their fangs and claws were out as they stared at both of them.
"Aurora, what do you think you're doing here?!" Aurora shook with fear as soon as her father's angry eyes turned to her.
She glanced at Xavier who's aura exuded Calmness. He looked like he couldn't be bothered by what was happening.
"Mo… mother… fa… fa… father… I…" She stuttered out in fear as wrung her fingers together. What could she say, that she came here to style a Demigod's and beg for their lives?
"Come here now" Roseline commanded then stretched out her hand towards Aurora but before Aurora could take a step towards her mother, Xavier grabbed her hand.
Aurora turned to Xavier and her wide shocked eyes met with his serene eyes.
"She'll go on her own Accord" Aurora stared at him with confusion written all over her face.
She tried yanking her hand out his grip but he held onto her tightly.
"Get your hands off her right this instance. Aurora, go to your mother now" But Aurora felt like she couldn't move. It was like Xavier's eyes were keeping her in place.
"Do you want to go?" Xavier questioned softly as he stared into her eyes. Aurora stared at him hesitantly and tried yanking her hand out of his grip again but Xavier won't let go.
"If you want to be my friend, you have to be bold" She suddenly held his voice in her head. She stared at him for a while then a sense of bravery overcame her. She smiled at him then turned to her parents.
"Can you both please wait for me outside, I have to talk to Xavier" Nikolas scoffed.
"Xavier? You're on a first name basis with him now right? What has he done to you?" Aurora shook her head.
"Nothing father, I was just…."
"Go to your mother, now Aurora" Nikolas muttered slowly but Aurora stood her ground.
"Xavier won't hurt me, father. He…."
"Now Aurora!" Nikolas ordered with his Alpha tone which made Aurora unwilling submit to his command. She briefly glanced at Xavier before pulling her hand out of his and walking over to her mother.
Her mother immediately dragged her out of the cave, leaving her father and Xavier alone in there.
"Is he going to hurt him? Mother he can't hurt him" Aurora muttered which gained her a glare from her mother.
"You're not allowed to leave your room till I or your father say so, do you hear me?" Aurora frowned.
"But mother…"
"No buts! How could you meet up with this demigod behind our backs? What if he killed you without us knowing, huh?" Aurora shook her head.
"He won't hurt me mother, we have a deal" Roseline's eyes widened.
"You made a deal with him? How naive can you be! You literally made a deal with the devil!" Aurora shook her head and was about to say something when they both heard Xavier's loud scream which shook the entire ground.
Xavier" Aurora whispered and was about to run into the cave when she grabbed onto her side as an excruciating pain enveloped her whole body.
She fell to the ground, screaming at the top of her lungs while tears fell down her cheeks.
"Aurora! What's wrong?!" Her mother called out as she fell to the ground and held Aurora in her arms.
"Mother, it hurts…. It hurts a lot" Aurora murmured in between cries. Roseline placed her hand over where Aurora felt the pain but she didn't know what to do.
"I'll go get your father, okay? Bear it for a while my love" Roseline gently placed Aurora on the ground before dashing back into the cave, holding her gown up.
As she opened the door, she saw her husband twisting the stake that was in Xavier's body while Xavier screamed out in pain then it suddenly dawned on Roseline.
She gasped then ran over to her husband and pushed him away from hurting Xavier.
"Roseline" Nikolas called out with confusion written all over his face but Roseline didn't answer him. Instead, she turned to Xavier with red eyes.
"What did you do to my daughter?" Even with the amount of pain Xavier was in, he was able to flash them a sinister smile.
"I gave Aurora my Gem and as long as that gem is inside her, she'll be able to feel every slight pain I feel including pains like this. Hurry up and go save her unless everything you have done up till now would be in Vein" Nikolas' and Roseline's eyes widened in horror and shock.
Without saying another word, they ran out of the cave and found Aurora passed out on the ground, her face as pale as a ghost.
"Aurora!".....
