Chapter Nine.
Months later.
King Hamza's health kept deteriorating.
Everybody in the palace is worried about him. The doctor told King Jalal that his father has to be taken to the hospital to undergo a blood transfusion and since his condition is not very critical he will be receiving a blood transfusion every after a week or else things might get worse and they might lose him.
King Jalal sat with his wife, he was holding back his tears when he was talking to the doctor but couldn't hold it any longer after seeing his wife and tears came down.
"Amma i can't help it" hugs his wife.
"I know dear, just calm down we all need you" calmly console's him.
"And i can't tell Jalila about Father's health, i should tell her"
"No dear, she will be done with her exams in two days"
"Amma i don't want to lose my father" emotionally spoke to his wife.
"Everything will be fine".
Amma needs to be strong for her family because her husband is weak already, he is broken and scared, his mother is also weak after hearing what the doctor said. Everybody is shattered by the news.
The next morning.
King Hamza was taken to the hospital for him blood transfusion.
"How are you feeling your majesty" doctor asked.
"Strong as always *giggles*"
*doctor smiles and replies*ok your majesty.
Few minutes later.
The doctor came out and told everyone that king Hamza is fine now and can be taken home after some time, he gave King Jalal some medicine to get and also told him what the patient has to eat in order to stay healthy and strong.
"I want to talk to Jalila" Father asked Jalal to call his daughter after his first blood transfusion.
"But father you can't tell her about your health, she has her last exams tomorrow" Amma spoke calmly.
"I know dear, i won't tell her i just want to talk to her"
"Ok father"
Phone rings and Princess Jalila picked.
"Hello father, how are you" happily spoke to her father.
"I'm fine dear, i was just missing you"
"I was missing you too, i will be back in two days and we will eat my favorite meal together"
"Ok dear i can't wait, take care of yourself"
"Thank you father, I love you"
"I love you too"
Father and daughter had a good conversation and both were very happy, father asked for a surprise party in favor of his daughter's arrival.
King Jalal and Queen Amma agreed to organize a surprise and special party for Princess Jalila.
"Your majesty can i go visit my parents after the hospital please!" Queen Amma politely asked the king.
"Yes my queen and you should inform them about the party"
"Sure I will"
"And yes tell Hakeem to look very good maybe he would be lucky to be chosen by the princess *laughs*"
Everybody laughs.
The Queen went to visit her family and as always they are happy to see her.
Her mother prepared her favorite meal and they all sat together, laughing, chatting and eating.
What a lovely family. The queen told her family about her father in law's health and how strong he still acts around everyone.
"He is a very strong man and I believe he wants everybody to be happy" Mr Ahmad spoke to his daughter.
"Yes father but he's in much pain, i just hope he gets better soon"
"He will be better as long as we don't stop praying for him" mother added.
"And before I forget Hakeem, King Jalal specifically asked me to tell you to look very handsome a day after tomorrow for the princess's welcome back party"
Everyone laughs.
"Oh God i need to get new clothes" he sarcastically replied.
"Silly boy" mother laughs.
After a long chit chat, the Queen has to go back to the palace and start preparing for the party even though they all wished she could stay longer but she has to go.
"See you all at the party"
"We will come to visit your father in law before the party"
"Ok mother see you soon"
"Bye" everyone waved.
The Queen had a quiet drive back to the palace thinking of how things will be when Princess Jalila finds out about her father's health when she returns. Queen Amma promised herself to always be there for both King Jalal and his sister Princess Jalila and she believes everything will be fine.
Back at the hospital King Hamza asked the doctor to please do him a favor of keeping his health reports with him and not to tell any of his family about how serious the sickness is, because he believed they will all be shattered and after finding out after the little time he had left, "Jalila will be shattered and broken" the king thought about his favorite child.
Doctor promised him that his secret is safe and assured him a longer time if he abides by the conditions given to him in the hospital.
King Hamza couldn't keep the secret all by himself and he thought of sharing it with his close friend Mr Ahmad (Amma's father) who knew about his health from the very beginning and kept it a secret from everyone. He called him and informed him about his little time and Mr Ahmad motivated him and made him feel very strong just like all friends do.
Even though Mr Ahmad knew about King Hamza's health but he didn't tell anyone rather he acted surprised when his daughter came home all worried and disturbed about the king's health, he already knew about it because both are very good friends and don't keep secrets from each other.
