[3rd POV]

Looking at the unconscious figure of Eri, the stranger smiled as he took out a bottle of sake before gulping it down wildly. A small amount of alcohol leaked through the drain hole of his mask, making a mess. When he finished, the man stored the bottle away and approached the young child.

However, before he could grab her, a black portal manifested out of thin air and Kaede arrived. Her right eye was bleeding profusely and she gasped for breath.

"Who…" The villain couldn't even finish his sentence when Kaede lunged

He dodged and claimed to the ceiling. Knives appeared between his fingers and hurled them at Kaede. She dodged and the blades stabbed deeply into the hospital walls. Suddenly, a wave of dizziness assaulted Kaede as she started to sway and lose balance; the villain grinned from the successful activation of his quirk and took this chance to attack.

The villain dropped from the ceiling and pounced with his weapon raised. Under extreme dizziness, Kaede suffered multiple slash wounds all over her body and the villain destroyed everything in his path. However, under one of the swings, Kaede managed to grasp him by the wrist, she twisted, and her attacker dropped the knife.

Kaede pulled him towards her and she kneed him in the stomach. The villain grunted as he felt a few of his ribs broken. She didn't give him any time to think and swiped his legs from under him. Her hand grasped the man's face and smashed the back of his head into the floor.

*BAM*

Spider web-like cracks were generated from the impact and he went limp.

Meanwhile…..

"What's taking Deidoro so long?" Kai (Chisaki) muttered as he wiped the tiny speck of dirt off his clothes with disgust.

"He should be done by now…." Kendo grumbled, and they all nodded

After Kai escaped from capture, the Shin Hassaikai hideouts were raided by heroes. Even his new allies, the League of Villains, betrayed him and looted some of his resources. It took him a while to regroup with his remaining members as most were arrested and were spread out across the city, with no way to contact each other. Their numbers were dwindling every day as heroes were hot on their trail.

Eight Bullets, the special force of Shie Hassaikai, consisting of eight people with powerful quirks, managed to group up with Kai; unfortunately, two of the eight members were captured. Therefore, Kai and the remaining Eight Bullets will make their last stand on recapturing Eri and rebuilding their organization.

Kai was beyond pissed off and he wanted nothing more than revenge on the hero who had humiliated him. But, right now, securing Eri will be the top priority. They heard a loud crash from within the hospital, and the lights in each room turned on one by one as the patients and staff were awoken by the commotion.

"Deidoro failed…." Yu muttered with dissatisfaction.

"We have been discovered; time to go loud," Kai commanded and he glanced at Rikiya.

The giant nodded as he charged straight through the hospital wall with immense strength and size. Night shift hospital staff screamed in terror, trying to escape. Kai and the rest of the Eight Bullets entered the breach and scattered, looking for their target. The security guards tried their best, but to the villains, they were just cannon fodders...

[Kaede POV]

I collapsed onto all four as the adrenaline left my body, and I felt severe pain in my right eye. It felt like my eye would burst out of my socket while many sharp needles continually stabbed into my brain. I started coughing and spit out a mouthful of blood.

I have teleported way past the maximum distance, so there were obviously going to be side effects, but still…

I groaned, wiped the blood off my face, and started applying medical ninjutsu. Thankfully, there won't be any more vomiting blood, but the pain remains, and using Kamui once more was a definite no.

I glanced at the sleeping Eri and sighed in relief. She was not harmed, and I ensured to bring the fight away from her. If I didn't get here in time….. I shook my head to remove the evil thoughts. When the villain was defeated, I could feel the dizziness fading away; however, the mind-numbing pain still hinders my thoughts.

I put my focus on the defeated villain and touched his head. I activated Daikoku and energy returned to my body, I felt better, and the pain slightly lessened. However, his vitality was not what I was looking for as the man's recent memories were transmitted into my mind.

I grimaced; this was not looking good; from what I gathered, Chisaki and the Eight Bullets would be attacking any second now: "I have to get Eri out of here before it's too late." I muttered to no one in particular.

"Onee-chan?…" Eri mumbled as she sat up and groggily opened her eyes.

I immediately stopped what I was doing as I dashed towards Eri and tightly wrapped my arms around her.

"That man…" Eri said as she remembered what happened, and her eyes widened in fear but calmed down noticing the defeated villain.

Eri glanced back at me and panicked when she saw my injury: "Your eye…."

"I will be fine, don't worry about me." I tried to calm Eri down.

Eri slowly nodded in response, but her calm expression crumbled as she started to cry. It must have been horrifying for her. But to my surprise, Eri quickly stopped and tried to put on a brave face.

"It's okay now because onee-chan is here," Eri said.

I gently stroked her hair and kissed her on the cheek. She giggled at my show of affection and snuggled tighter into my chest. Abruptly, the whole building starts to shake, and sounds of yelling and screaming can be heard throughout the hospital.

"Everyone evacuate! Villains are attacking!" A random doctor shouted, warning all the patients.

I took Eri by the hand and took her out of the room. Using Kamui was no longer an option, so we had to get out of there the old-fashioned way. Eri and I followed the crowd and ran towards the emergency exit stairs, the staff tried to open the metal door, but it was stuck.

"Move out of the way!" I yelled as I built chakra into my legs and kicked it.

The door was forcefully slammed open, and I was surprised by what was waiting for us. In front of me was a slim man wearing a black hat, cloak, and plague doctor mask.

'Shin!' I exclaimed in my head, remembering the name of one of the numbers from the Eight Bullets.

"Found you!" Shin shouted as he unholstered two pistols and pointed them at my face.

I instantly shut the door; sounds of the gun being fired and bullets ricocheting off the metal door can be heard. I hurriedly led the patients and staff to another exit. However, a giant fist burst through the floor, and a huge man wearing a plague doctor mask, tank top, and jeans climbed up from the cavity and stood in front of us.

'Crap, Rikiya too?!'

"Where do you think you're going?" Rikiya taunted.

I launched a high kick at Rikiya's face, but he caught my foot, and an orange aura formed around his body. Rikiya then inhaled, and I felt my power slowly being sucked away. He laughed arrogantly, but I just merely raised one of my eyebrows, unimpressed.

I activated Daikoku and let him have a taste of his own medicine. Immediately, I started to drain his strength. If I have to compare, his draining quirk was like a little stream while mine was a massive flowing river.

I quickly broke free from Rikiya's grasp, and he fell onto his knees. Rikiya looked skinnier than before, and he could barely raise his arms. I spun my body and slammed my foot onto the side of his face.

The force was so great that his body was launched out of the hospital, destroying the walls. He landed outside, unconscious. My right eye was getting better, I can use Sharingan in both eyes now, but Kamui was still a stretch.

At this moment, Shin arrived behind me and aimed. My face became pale as bullets whizzed over me. I fired lightning arrows in retaliation but yelped when a shot almost hit my forehead.

Out of options, I sprinted towards the large hole in the side of the hospital.

"Hang on!" I yelled as I picked up Eri and leaped out of the hole, jumping high in the air.

Eri shrieked and buried her face into my chest. I landed safely and placed her down. But we were immediately surrounded by the rest of the Eight Bullets. I glanced at the hole I made, and Shin was staring at me with his pistol aimed, ready to shoot me down if I tried anything. I clicked my teeth in frustration and glared at my adversary.

The villains stepped out of the way, and Chisaki stopped before us, "If you want to live, hand me Eri," Chisaki demanded.

[3rd POV]

Eri was terrified, and she stared at Kaede with tears. Eri thought Kaede would abandon her, but all the doubts disappeared as she felt Kaede's hand patting her head: "Don't be scared, I will protect you." Kaede gently whispered in her ears.

Eri nodded with determination as chakra wrapped around Kaede's body, forming a gigantic skeleton.

*Bang* x 4

Shin fired at the Susanno in quick succession, but the bullets merely bounced off. Kaede's Susanoo instantly transformed into its humanoid form and glared at the Shie Hassiki members. The Susanoo swung her arm, and Hekiji tried to create a barrier to block the attack but was smacked away like flies.

Shin fired more bullets at Kaede, but it was useless and he couldn't pierce Susanoo's defense. Yu encased himself with crystal armor; he sneaked up from behind, intending to attack Eri. However, Kaede intercepted the attack as Yu's sharp crystallized blade stabbed slightly into the Susanoo. Before it could go deeper, Kaede grabbed Yu and flung him at Shin.

Both villains collided with each other and crashed further into the hospital. Kendo charged and unleashed a barrage of punches at Susanoo, the forces were doing some damage, but it was still meaningless as Kaede grabbed him before smashing him onto the floor.

Kai scowled and watched at the rest of the Eight Bullets defeated so easily. He sighed before taking off his gloves. Kai knelt and touched the floor. Massive earth spikes shot out of the ground aiming for the Susanoo at every angle. Some spikes were even aimed at Eri and Kaede covered the child with her body.

The spikes skewered the Susanoo but luckily none of it managed to land a fatal wound on Kaede. Blood leaked from her opened wound and she gritted her teeth. The Susanoo snapped the spikes in half and hurled them at Kai.

The villain formed an earth barrier that was destroyed by the bombardment. A massive dust cloud obstructed Kai's vision and he protected his eyes with his arm. A giant purple fist burst through the cloud of dust, landing a direct hit on Kai's small frame, and knocking him away.

Kai slowly repaired his body with his quirk and got up in anger. At this moment, the police and pro heroes have finally arrived on the scene and they start helping escort the civilians to safety. The rest of the authorities aimed their weapons at Kai while the heroes entered their fighting stance.

"Kai Chisaki! Stand down now!" Sir Nighteye shouted through the megaphone.

Kai's expression turned ugly. He glanced back at the police and heroes before staring at Kaede, who was protecting Eri from him. From the corner of his eyes, he noticed the fallen figure of Rikiya who still have an imprint of Kaede's foot on his face.

Kai smirked: "Do you really think you could stop me?"

Before anyone could act, he placed his hand on the figure of Rikiya. Immediately both their body starts to convulse and mutate rapidly...
